“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“I've been frequenting Moli for years now and find it consistently excellent. The kitchen delivers exquisite, vibrant dishes, matched by remarkably attentive service. The seductive, 1930s Shanghai-glamor ambience paired with cool music played at just the right volume creates a wonderfully chill vibe. My only request is that they'd add shaved ice to their fantastic martinis and serve them in classic martini glasses.“

“The food was amazing! I had the mafaldine Nero which is a seasonal selection and my fiancé had the beef Wellington and both were delicious. The Wellington was cooked perfectly and my pasta with braised octopus was to die for. We also had the creme brûlée which was delicious. The margarita was one of the tastiest margaritas and I’m not a big margarita fan. The old fashioned with hibiscus infused bourbon was unique in it’s taste but I loved it. It gave the bourbon a refreshing taste. Service was excellent!“

“I can’t say enough amazing things about the whole team at Plado. I recently had my baby shower at their Glen Cove location and it was the absolute best decision. To start the whole experience planning the shower with the owners was seamless and they were very responsive. The entire staff on the day of my event were so helpful with setting up, beyond friendly and hospitable to my family and guests - they really made the experience over the top perfect (especially Dominica who was the sweetest!). And to top it off my guests were raving about how incredible the food was, which I knew they would love because it’s my favorite restaurant on Long Island. We walked in for lunch during the workweek and were the only ones there. Ordered the special along with a pasta and pizza. Everything was good but felt slightly under seasoned. The desserts and cocktails were great.

“I have been at least 5 times. I love eatting rice, salad, beans, and plantains. I have only had the buffet. The food is good and they arrange it nice on a plate and bring it to your table. Many of the employees don't speak English, but we both try really hard and end up at the right place. My boyfriend says "i don't know what they do to the pork, but it is one of the best I have ever tasted."“
