“We had the fish Fry with macaroni and cheese. Salad bar had lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons, black olives. Plus, coleslaw, cottage cheese, crab salad and soup. Bread with dinner. Lightly breaded fish, cooked to perfection. All was very good!! (We were too full for dessert.☹)“

“The most absolute amazing salad you can design. Trust me when I say put some hot purple rice in the bottom of the bowl and start building the rest! Fresh grated ginger is a game changer. Don't forget all the free extras by the cash register you can add on. In New Hartford the manager is Austin and he is absolutely incredible! He runs a wonderful establishment and is constantly helping his workers out. My friend and I go here every 3 weeks and have our favorite table we always sit at. “We made a last minute reservation because we had to change venues for a picky eater. We were celebrating my MIL's birthday. She had the ribeye and loved it. That's all that really mattered. We also ordered the burger, a pizza, chicken francaise and Tuscan chicken. Everything was delicious. We were early so the place wasn't too busy and the service was top notch! The waitress surprised us with a dish of ice cream with a sparkler in it for the birthday girl. It was so awesome! Great service!“

“This is one of the absolutely one of the most amazingly awesome-st bars not only in the state, but in the country - it's the oldest continuingly running bar in the county! An old water-hole overlooking on the now-long-gone Chenango Canal and then Railroad and therefore the Erie Canal routes between mines in Pennsylvania and Binghampton, New York and Chicago - it is the warmest dive bar you'll ever see. This is what it used to be like to get drunk in 1895. It was a local grocers store for a time being (think CVS, or gas station). Beer & drinks s*** cheap, easy drinks, run down stools, a sagging ceiling, awesome hard rock on the jukebox; baseball games on TV during $2 beer happy hour during the week, smoke station out back, you can even get cheap little take-away bottles of wine after liquor stores close. Worth a glass when you're giving your donkey a pit-stop.“

“Very good food. My gf and I just started going here. It's our 2nd time. The breakfast is amazing. And very good priced. $12 for a 2 eggs, meat, hasbrowns or home fries and toast. Can't beat that. Best prices in the area. Can deff bring the family there and not empty the pocket like other diners in the area.

Girlfriend is very picky about her food especially her eggs. They've come out perfect over medium eggs both times. Great staff, service is great and very friendly people. Even the cook and dishwasher always have a smile on their faces and actually pay attention to the customers.

9/10/24 UPDATE. Lunch did not disappoint either. Gf got a Rachel (Turkey and Cole Slaw Ruben...by special request) (also at no additional cost and was able to change the rye bread to italian) amazing. And for $11.33 served with a pretty big serving of fries. I got a 1/3lb Daves Burger also amazing. $11.00. I added bacon and cheese for a $13.95 total. With sodas my bill was just under $33. Very affordable for 2 people to eat. Will deff keep coming back.“

“Love this place. I Never had a bad meal. The staff are pleasant. I go on my 30 minute lunch. I have time to eat and drive back to work. Today I had a tuna sandwich and a bowl of Homemade New England Clam Chowder. The tuna was white albacore (amazing) and the soup was delish. Prices are reasonable. I really didn't want to write this review as I am now afraid they will get busier and I will have to call my orders in but it is well deserved.“

“I was expecting something like a Mother's Market or Sprouts. But this is much smaller and clearly a local business, which means a limited variety of products. That's not a bad thing. There's a cafe inside with ample seating and on (some?) weekends local bread maker vendors sell fantastic bread made from NY state grown wheat.“
