“Stopped in for lunch yesterday. It was a beautiful, cool shady spot on a quaint island porch. The lunch was all home-made and fresh even down to the English muffins. The dessert case had a plethora of delicious freshly baked treats. We sampled a bunch and one was better than the next! Definitely a must visit!”

“We had Shelter Island Pumpkin Ale and it was the best most balanced we’ve had. Not too sweet and just the right amount of hops and barely. We hope they make this great ale every year and distribute it far and wide. It embodies the taste of autumn!”

“I just want t say I was there yesterday with our group knights on Bikes we had 17 bikes and 25 people and the waitress was fantastic she gave us unbelievable service with a great attitude doing it. The cook inside was working his tale off as well getting the food out very quickly for us. I can’t say enough the service and food was great. Thank You from our entire group

“This beautiful spot is THE culinary highlight of Shelter Island. From breakfast burritos to burgers, to coffee and smoothies, this place can do it all and do it well. They are beyond welcoming and open to everyone that’s walks in. Since moving away I’ve missed their hospitality and food more than ever. So go in and have a try they are definitely worth it!!”

“We visited on Saturday evening during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. From the moment we entered through the front door, we were welcomed by big smiles, big smells of delicious food, and what felt like a warm hug from a good friend. Classic and palette awakening cocktails. Try the brandade fritters and the best Caesar salad I have ever enjoyed. Sea bass was fresh out of the waters that surround the east end. The burger and the roasted chicken. For sides we ordered the onion gratin, romanesco and French fries. Surprise banana split for dessert. Delicious! See you again soon. Happy Holidays!”

“Finally stopped in after meaning to for over a year and we are so glad we did!! Cute inside space with light atmosphere. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer choices. We tried two flights and liked 7 of the 8 we tried. Will definitely be back to try more. They also have an outdoor seating area but it was too cold the day we went.”

“Great meal last night wit PAWPAW at the Lin Beach House. The intimate setting and stellar service can’t be beat. The food never ceases to surprise me. I always try something new, that I never thought I would eat, and end up loving. Last night the Eel hush puppies blew me away! Can’t wait to come back again!”
