“Wow. What a great experience! I was first introduced to Chef Payard as the pastry chef at a private club. Mind was blown. So I checked out his restaurant and was impressed with everything - the service, the menu, the creativity, the atmosphere, and the incredible food from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check it out.“

“As a starter, we opted for the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings, and let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! They're delicately steamed and served in a zesty ginger glaze, accompanied by a Thai dipping sauce. They're so delicious, you don't even need the dip! The marinated filet mignon steak tips also never fail to impress – they're consistently tender and bursting with flavor, making them a must-have every time we dine here. As for the main course, we invariably choose the baby back ribs. Good ribs are hard to come by in New York, but this spot has by far the best ones on the North Fork! The prices are reasonable, the cocktails consistently deliver on flavor, and the service is consistently excellent... all in all, just exceptional across the board.“

“Not my first time I've been blown away by the Duck entree here. Tonight's was EXCEPTIONAL, and I eat duck everywhere in the East End. Ambiance: groovy room, alive but not too loud Service: smart & knowledgeable, but he 'got' that we were too - great menu guidance, not pushing anything. I trusted the opinions. (not always the case!) Prices: were kind for the zip code. Wine list as well.“

“This is up there for best meal I've had. For appetizers we got a dozen of the East coast oysters which were very fresh and sweet, The Naughty Blu was very good and, when asked, got a generous amount of extra blue cheese olives, the Apple Bread Pudding was amazing and a decent size. But the star of the meal was the Local Flounder Francaise. The fish was flaky and well seasoned, the veggies were perfectly cooked and the beurre blanc sauce was nice and rich. Overall, *french kiss*. Giving 4 stars though because, while our server was nice and attentive, they didn't know whether one dessert had nuts in it or not, which one person in our party was allergic to. Luckily, before she ate it we luckily caught it in time. But with nut allergies being so serious and common you should know what does or does not have nuts in it.“

“Safe for those with food allergies and an all-around good time. Everyone is super friendly, too. Super close to main street for easy shopping or a pretty stroll after a good meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free is the big one, but they also have vegetarian and vegan options.“

“We and our friend are elderly - the food and service were exceptional. We would like to commend the young lady who served us (did not catch her name) as absolutely outstanding from start to the finish - carling, attentive, amusing and simply a lovely person. Please pass our appreciation to her - Reservation at 6pm - Brashich. You should be proud of her. Neboysha R Brashich“
“SOOOO GOOOOD!! ~ such a FUN EXPERIENCE ??? trying the most AMAZZZZING FOODS~ you won’t find your typical run of the mill items on this tasting menu! Each dish is curated with the most unique ingredient pairings~ things you would never think to put together but are SOOOO GOOD!! Plus top it off with some wine OR you can bring your own for a corkage fee! DEF RECOMMEND!! PS~ our menu started out with baked sourdough bread~ of course even though I prefer an Atkins lifestyle ?, it looked soooo good I had to eat it~ but don’t get toooo full to fast! Meaning don’t get full on the bread because the next dishes to come are more than enough to get full so pace yourself~ ????~ XO!! ???“

“Such a great place, we go every year after we get our Christmas tree, nice warm days we walk across to the beach/water and take in the views. The food is great, service is great also. The restaurant is split with a bar side with TVs for more casual dining, or the dining room side. Great menu selection and specials are always good too!“
“Cozy place with great service and even better food! Four of us had dinner here on a Thursday night and almost had the place to ourselves. We had the ribs, pork chop and firecracker shrimp bowl. A standout was the fries that came with the ribs - everyone at the table shared them and loved them!! Overall a really nice experience.“

“Apparently this place just got a new chef, so ignore previous bad reviews. Went for brunch with a local friend and it was delicious. She had the banana stuffed pancakes and I had avocado toast. Service was friendly and upstairs dining room was cozy with views of water. Recommended!“

“The Frisky Oyster The paucity of restaurants open for dinner in Greenport, off season, can test your patience. That said, we enjoyed a yummy dinner at The Frisky Oyster on a Saturday night in January. The restaurant was jammed, and reservations (yes, YES, even in January) are a must. The fun, lively ambiance was welcoming. For appetizers we opted for oysters friskafella ( their version of oysters Rockefeller), crispy calamari salad, and duck spring rolls, ALL of which were so very good! The oysters were the standout, cooked to the appropriate doneness well seasoned and garlicky. We then opted for the lobster pasta, the duck breast and the tuna, all of which were, again, very good. The tuna was the entree standout, cooked perfectly, simply seasoned and fresh. Delicious. The cocktails were quite well made and they graciously served 1/2 espresso martinis when we opted to share one for dessert. The accommodating service, lively atmosphere and very good food makes the Frisky Oyster a great place for dinner!“
“I think the best reason to eat at Claudio‘s is that it's been Claudio's since 1860! It's a beautiful ambience, water view, the best location one could have in a charming town. The food was good, not outstanding, but certainly good. It wasn't pricey, about middle of the road price-wise. All in all a lovely Christmas Eve experience with my family!“

“One of the best meals I've had at VSC since it opened. They've upped their game by having multiple specials (in addition to their longstanding daily one). They are trying to source locally as long as quality is maintained. I had the bay scallop appetizer. Could have been my entree. So delicious, the scallops were from Nova Scotia as the Peconic Bay ones are in short supply. Lobster pot pie also lovely not too creamy. Tarte tatin was crispy. Jake our server was attentive and had a sense of humor.“
