“My partner and I love coming here, it has the perfect small town diner atmosphere. I order oatmeal with berries every time and it's always fantastic. The staff is wonderful and the area is gorgeous. Do yourself a favor and take a Saturday morning drive out to the window box and grab yourself a good breakfast.“

“I went to this place to pick up breakfast for two. The place was very clean and bright and the staff was very attentive. I’m trying to diet so I got a poached egg on toast and it was great. Loved whatever they seasoned it with. The other party got a big breakfast: eggs hash browns, etc and was raving about it. Nice place !“

From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. “Grappa 72 has always been my favorite. ❤️here’s why. I hadn’t been in awhile- used to go frequently, so I grabbed a to-go order of their excellent fettuccini bolognese and some bruschetta to take home after a very long drive- ❤️❤️❤️and had a glass of wine at their friendly and comfortable bar while I waited. It’s 100 degrees outside- so I wasn’t dressed (shorts and an ocean city tee lol) but it was early.. so I popped in to wait for my order. From reception to bar to the chef popping out with my order- to the other lovely guests who were popping in as well and enjoying banter and kind conversation.. the bartender primo making everyone happy- I can’t tell you how much that atmosphere warms my soul. Good people, great food, no pretensions, phenomenal service.. and I can attest from so many previous visits- a warm and inviting dining room where when they have music you never want to leave. Soooo well done from every aspect. Thanks Grappa!!! I’ll be back soon, I’ve missed you while I’ve been away! Did I mention the bolognese? “Oh my goodness!!! I had the BEST Mexican pizza Friday night. The barbacoa was so tender and all the other ingredients were as fresh as if they had just come off the plant. I’m already planning to go back soon to have it again. Would recommend this place 100%!!!“

We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“We had a joyous birthday celebration at my son’s favorite restaurant. Akanomi’s staff and sushi chefs, itamae, excelled at all endeavors. Vivan was spot on with her suggestions and service. She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. It was stunning in presentation, offerings and taste. Oh my, it was very impressive. A most wonderful time was had by all.“

“4.5 stars. This is the NY style pizza i was looking for. I can’t say that I have a favorite place since not every place serves the exact same pizza the same way every time. I could probably go back on another day and not have the same quality. But for right now in the Albany area this is in my top three. The evening I went to get a study break and grab some slices of pizza while reading reminded me of my time in Brooklyn when I could get out of work, walk up the street to the takeout window and get a couple slices with garlic knots and finish them by the time I got to the grocery store. This was the flavor, this was the taste. A half a star removed since I wish the back crust, the part you hold, had just a little bit more flavor.“
