“Food here is always delicious. My favorite is their spicy tuna roll. They have a special for 3 rolls for the price of two on certain days. My wife had the fried rice with chicken which she said was outstanding. My son loves their low mein noodles with chicken. A great selection of drinks and specials as well. We are here at least once a month and will keep coming back

Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and we've been bringing our son since he was a newborn and they have always been great. He's 8 now and loves the place like we do.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance has no steps so easy to get a wheelchair in without issue.“

“Just this evening, I ordered take out from the wrong location. I called Stuyvesant plaza instead of Slingerlands. When I called Stuyvesant about the mistake the manager said, “ No problem”. What’s your address ? I will drive it out to you. Within a 1/2 hour this awesome guy Justin pulled into my driveway with all our food. Hot food and cold salad !! Thank you. Way to go!!“

“I went to this place to pick up breakfast for two. The place was very clean and bright and the staff was very attentive. I’m trying to diet so I got a poached egg on toast and it was great. Loved whatever they seasoned it with. The other party got a big breakfast: eggs hash browns, etc and was raving about it. Nice place !“

She anticipated all of our needs, especially with our children. The chicken soba soup, tuna carpaccio and Hawaii Rolls were our favorites. Then the sashimi / sushi mixed roll party docked. “Absolutely wonderful experience! I took 12 employees out to celebrate the holiday season and see a show in Albany. From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! In a world where the meaning of hospitality seems to have been forgotten by so many, this restaurant still knows what it means, and executes flawlessly. I highly recommend, and will definitely be back when in the Albany area. (I may even have to make a special trip back just for this restaurant!)“

“I’ve been meaning to try this place for a long time and I’m very glad my boyfriend and I finally made it! Amazing service and our meals, the bolognese and Vitello alla 72, were delicious. The calamari was also crispy and tender. The best part was they accidentally brought a caprese salad to our table and let us enjoy it for free, very generous for such an insignificant “mistake.” Great prices and not too loud or chaotic in there like some places that try to fit in as many tables as possible. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“I won’t betray my boys at Shining Rainbow because they’re the best of the best, but Taiwan Noodle is definitely a strong contender and right behind them. The food is hot, delicious, and really fantastic. I recommend dining in rather than ordering takeout—though maybe ordering isn’t completely off the table? The one time I got takeout, they skimped on the meat, but that’s in the past now. The food is still amazing!“

“I was on the hunt for a Garbage Plate in my new home of the Capital Region; this is the only place I could find one on the menu...and I looked all over. I spent way too much time toiling with the prospect of not being impressed by a plate 200+ miles from Rochester. In my head, I said to myself, there are plates in Rochester that don't even impress; why should I give the time of day to someone so far removed? It took me over two years to finally pull trig. In retrospect, I am kicking myself. Portions aside, the plate here is absolutely fantastic, like wtf. The meat sauce seems to keep the obligatory warmth of nutmeg and cinnamon, but has a delicate spice that absolutely delights in its own way. The mac salad lights up my tongue with the zest of celery and the home fries give me the crunch that I deserve. The burgers are the greasy vessel that I have come to expect, but offer much more cohesion than a typical plate. I am barely exaggerating when I say this might be Top 2 plates of my lifetime. Couple that with an awesome atmosphere and an amazing happy hour and you've got gold. Thank you guys for scratching my itch.“

“Tonight I decided to take advantage of the Family Takeout Special at Cafe Calabria II, I worked all day and didn’t feel like cooking but also didn’t want fast food. Well, I made an excellent decision! The food was amazing, I opted for the Chicken Sorento and even my picky little ones devoured it; it was truly delicious! The eggplant and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were both still warm and crispy despite being driven 25 minutes from the restaurant to my house and being covered it a mouth watering, savory marinara sauce and bubbly melted mozzarella. 😋 for the price, I couldn’t have made it cheaper myself at home. 10/10 recommend!“
