“My wife and I had a delightful dinner here during a Thursday evening late last month. When we arrived, we were glad that we had made a reservation, because most tables were occupied already. Live music was provided by a cover band playing popular tunes from a variety of eras: it was well-received by the patrons, some of whom even danced! Several members of the staff alternated serving us; all were pleasant and helpful. Our food - pasta primavera and wonderful, warm bread - was delicious, as were our wine and beer. I look forward to the possibility of another meal here, if we visit the area again.“

“Love going here. There a bunch of pizza shop like two minutes from me. But Manninos is the place to go. One under rated item is there buffalo chicken sandwich is amazing. The guys behind the counter are also friendly and always ready to help satisfy your hunger with recommendations. This is my go to!!!“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. I got the Carpaccio - the rabbit - and then the duck. All of which were prepped very very nicely . Carpaccio is some of the best I’ve had. Great high quality ingredients , along with incredible flavor profiles, and very nice ambiance.

“Dinner was great. When the waiter came to take our order we wanted to just order the appetizers and then continue to figure out what we wanted for dinner and we were told we had to place the entire order together. We have been here many times and never had to do that before so we had to quickly figure out our meal so we could get some food. The food is always good we were a party of five. We hope they change the way they require the entire order together be placed.“

First and foremost today was my first time ordering two sandwiches after my mouth watered seeing a friend bring her sandwiches to a basketball game a couple days ago and I said I have to try them out. Upon walking in I felt at home seeing so many Italian staples, my eyes lit up. I’m so sad I didn’t know about this gem earlier. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming even going far as showing me around and even giving my husband and I a sample. I’m so excited to go back and be a regular moving forward.“

“Really nice place with a rustic, romantic vibe. The food and service was excellent. Served hot and nicely portioned. Cesar salad was your with anchovies and dressed just right. Artichoke and spinach flatbread appetizer was excellent also.
My girlfriend got the Tuscan chicken over spaghetti and was a really nice portion. It needed a little salt but otherwise was perfect. I got the orrechetti with sausage and broccoli rabe and was very good. Sausage could have been cooked a little less and there could have been more broccoli rabe, but was still enjoyable. One other thing, they asked if I wanted cheese sprinkled on top, which I loved, but they used the wrong cheese. Instead of sprinkling grated Romano, they spooned on shredded parmesan. Not really appropriate for that dish.

“Whether you dine in or order pizza to go, you will be happy you went to Mama's. I love coming here on pasta nights (Monday and Tuesday) for the (very reasonably) fixed price meals that include soup/salad, entree, dessert, and wine. There's always enough to re heat for lunch the next day. If you have friends from out of town that want to try real long island pizza you should order from Mama's. I moved away and I cry every time I eat their za. The servers are so hard working and friendly. Shout out to Christy!! She's killing it!! Ps - pasta nights get BUSY so it would be smart to make a reservation.“

“We, thankfully, had a reservation on a Saturday night. We had a spacious table for 4. Brittany was our waitress. She was wonderful. She introduced herself, took our drink orders, gave us time to look over the menu, told us about the specials, was attentive to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The appetizers she suggested were delicious. The courses were nicely spaced apart. Each course was cleared from the table before the next course was served. We never felt rushed. The food was excellent. Atmosphere was quiet to enjoy a conversation. We will certainly be returning.

“We had a Mothers Day celebration Sunday at this fabulous seafood restaurant. There were 15 of us- 9 adults and six children between 5 and 12. We traveled an hour to get there. The food was delicious- fresh, tasty and the portions were so large that everyone took a doggy bag home. It was served by a great staff including Angel who was our server.
