“During my time in Kingston last year, I enjoyed a lot of the menu options such as the fruit salads (especially the ones with chocolate in it). I especially enjoyed the banana crepe, velvet crepe, chicken crepe, garlic beef crepe, and the chocolavo drink. All the options were quite unique and worth the price. It's too bad this place is closed though. I really wish there was a restaurant in my current area that is at least remotely similar to Fruit Festival.“

“This has been my go-to bakery and coffee shop since they have opened! It’s the perfect place to grab my morning coffee before getting on the train and I consistently get pastries and sweet treats for birthdays, holidays, or for myself. The chef has perfected her art, as everything is always well balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly flavorful and light. My favorite type of pastry is one with buttercream and it’s been proven difficult to find buttercream pastries in general, but also delicately well made. I often buy the mini cake as it is the perfect buttercream recipe and everyone I have gotten it for has been thrilled. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. I am always impressed by the artistry, craft, and of course, flavors. The family that owns it are also truly kind and overall wonderful people who I look forward to seeing every morning on my way to work.“

I ordered the Cookies & Cream along with a pie, and everything was honestly so good, but what really stood out was the service. The workers, Rob and Noah, were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient the entire time. They made the visit feel warm and enjoyable, and you could really tell they cared about giving customers a good experience. It honestly made the night even better. The Chocolate Chip Walnut was the ultimate balance of everything you look for in a comfort treat while the Funfetti flavor caught me by surprise and is now considered the best sugar cookie I ever had in my life. “Love seeing the fresh mochi being made to order by the machine!! Worker was also friendly! It comes out warm and the seasoning reminds me of injeolmi but a little less sweet! The mochi itself was warm/ hot and had a very unique texture. You can taste the bumpy pricey bits but it’s not like something that you bite on and get a completely different texture when you hit a lump, overall it is still smooth just textured. 4/5

“Great place for crazy cookie flavors, a little pricey and other than the everyday flavors the specialty flavors are more expensive. If you join their club you get a FREE cookie for your bday but only the daily flavors, specialty ones are not included and they should be, after all if it's your bday you should be able to pick what you like. Even though cookies are pricey they can be worth the try because I feel this is not a daily place but a nice treat once in a while.“

good food, great atmosphere, however one thing holds this place back from being 5 stars in my book: the service. although servers are friendly, every time i come here, no matter if it’s busy or slow, i have to flag them down so i can pay or have them just take my order. as someone who has worked in food service, dealing with multiple customers can be overwhelming, i understand. however, it’s discourages me as a customer to come back to that. on the night of white day, despite being sat, my friend and i didn’t get any menu, then once we grabbed our own, had to wait more for our order to be taken. even when it’s slow, servers aren’t on the floor, and i’ve waited longer to pay than to have my food come out. i don’t blame them for the most part- as i usually only ever see one person on the floor, even on busy weekends. i hope the owner hires enough people to make sure the team is supported enough and customers don’t feel neglected.“
