“The food is acceptable but what I liked the most was the sweet plantains that I bought for my whole family. I have given it many chances and I kept buying it but it doesn't improve. It tastes horrible. The bananas are sometimes semi-green, not sweet at all, without any flavor. and they make the pieces smaller and at $5 I wouldn't mind the price as long as it was delicious but it isn't like that I hope they fix it“

We strolled in for a tumbling trio, Taiwan popcorn chicken, Lu ro fan, shoestring fries and pickled lotus root.

Upon delivery we are delighted with our order. Everyone was delighted. Atmosphere is low bc it is take out but clean and water ready.

With 2 kids 4 adults this was a nice stop on our afternoon pre-game adventure in Long Island City.“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. I will for sure be coming back here!“

Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. The Juqi fried rice is also really cool and represents the coal stoves of the past. 10/10 recommend this place, especially for large parties.“

“I recently visited 787 Coffee Shop and had an amazing experience! I ordered a chai tea with oat milk, and it was absolutely perfect—smooth, flavorful, and with just the right balance of spices. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, making the whole atmosphere cozy and inviting. I loved the vibe and the attention to detail in everything, from the decor to the quality of the drinks. This is definitely a spot worth visiting for anyone who appreciates a well-made chai or a warm, relaxed environment. Highly recommend!“

“Great spot in the neighborhood to get a beer and entertainment. 5th really tries to give a visitor great value with live music and trivia nights. Their beer selection is nice and there is usually a food pop up when you get hungry. Dogs are a common visitor so if you don’t like them or are allergic you may want to make sure you find a seat away from our fury pals. It’s one of my favorite places in the area to hang out and witness some pretty good jazz and meet up with friends. LIC is a bit more modern and might be low on the history and charm of many neighborhoods in the city but 5th does a really great job of starting the area’s own vibe and identity.“

“Great authentic cuisine that brings a little bit of Bolivia to the United States. The saltenas are absolutely amazing. The shell was cooked to perfection while the inside was a treat of flavors that was heavenly. The Silpancho had such great flavor. So authentic with the Carne lightly breaded and seasoned with the flavorful Zarza and a beet, carrot and vegetable salsa that complimented the egg and potato. Highly recommend to anyone that wants to experience a little part of Bolivia here in Queens, New York.“

“Really enjoyed the shashuka and challah bread. The shakshuka had fantastic flavor and was one of the best I've ever had.
I liked the falafel which comes on a bed of tahini. The falafel were not dry and had good flavor. The tzatziki was a bit salty.
They have full bar and limited beer on draft. Prices were fair for location and quality.
Prices were mezze items ($9 each), shakshuka ($21) and a beer ($9), this is fair pricing. Chill environment overall.
Service was good. They have indoor or outdoor seating. The design inside is very interesting. Bathroom was clean.
I would recommend and will be back.“

“This review is for their coffee but also their workspace at their 80th street location. As for the coffee — it’s great. Definitely more expensive than an already expensive coffee shop (iced americano is $9) — but it’s good for sure.

Service and vibes are very nice. Emilio at the 80th street location is really awesome.

Best of all they have a great workspace a few doors down that’s quiet and a great place to work.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. Just go, you won't regret it.“

“LITTLE FLOWER IS THE BEST CAFE EVERRR! They are so much more than just a cafe though, it's more like a movement or way of life for me at this point LOL. I love their food, their activism, and how they show up for our neighborhood. I have tried various things on their menu and it is all my favorite LOL! I typically get a cold brew and some kind of food. My go to is their guava pancakes and egg sandwich. Their pastries are phenomenal too. You need to do yourself a favor and visit! “I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

The prices are very reasonable for the area ($10 or less). Cash/Venmo preferred.

Their best dishes are the braised pork, hands down. Very tender and fatty. For beef noodle, their beef is tender and the soup is flavorful, but the noodle texture can be better, it was too soggy.

The 3 cup chicken and eggplant are too sweet, in my opinion. The potsticker filling were also just alright, but i like how they pan fried it.“

Their Dutch baby “Primadonna” pancake and lobster roll are to die for. Much of what is on the menu it’s imported from Italy of the finest ingredients. It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. It was my first time visiting this coffee shop… and it’s not just any coffee shop! They also sell a wide array of vinyls as well as their own locally roasted coffee beans! It’s also cool that they use the space as an event venue.

The owner was super chill and friendly :) I’d definitely take my friends here and this would’ve been my go-to coffee shop if I lived in the area!“

“Those in the know won't worry to much about 5 leaves not being rated a 4.5 or higher, why you ask? Because it really doesn't matter when the ricotta pancakes are THAT FREAKING GOOD! Seriously every 3rd person orders those pancakes. They also have a great Mocha and black kale salad. If you're not in the mood for sweet fair try the moroccan scramble which is perfect for something light but filling. I got the BLAT on my first visit and it was also good. Now if you're there for dinner been warned the burger is quite filling but it will be worth it even if you gotta waddle home.“

“After hearing great things about Land to Sea, we made the trip all the way from Long Island City—with our foster dog Mission in tow! The staff were so kind and even offered him ice water on a hot morning, which we really appreciated. We sat outside and were grateful for the shaded seating.

I had the roast pork bun and coconut bun—both were absolutely delicious! Perfectly chewy, moist, and full of authentic flavor.
