“Small little corner store on lower level of short hills mall. Can’t help but see the 20+ flavors available of chocolates. Plus fresh made gelato must of been about 15 flavors. I got the mango & strawberry in a cup. Lined with chocolate and nuts. Was awesome. Got to sample the milk chocolate as well. VERY GOOD…..“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“I have went to many froyo store but this one takes the cake the store is always very clean and organized, the best thing about this store is the staff they are all very welcoming, one of the girl helped me open the door when I was having difficulty and they are very sweet to little kids always assisting them with amazing manners they are the sweetest and I can see that all the staff focus on cleanliness of their toppings and the way they deal with their products I definitely recommend this place

“I wanted cheesecake bites and had called over the phone to tell them to include it since uber eats didn’t have it as an option, however the man told me they ran out. After we got off the phone I guess he went to the back just to to double check and realized he had a little extra left and went out of his way to scoop out whatever was left in the back to give to me. He even went out of his way to write a note on the bag. Whoever this was, just know we appreciated it so much! Put a huge smile on my face. you’re the absolute best (if your boss sees this u deserve a raise)“

“Very good flavorful ice cream with a small but unique set of flavors (8 with 2 vegan) such as Rose Hip, Poppy seed with lemon, Lavender earl grey etc. Decent prices ($5 for first+$3 per extra scoop), decent portions and they allow sampling. They have some seating outside the store. Definitely recommend.

The store is only open on Saturday and Sunday and around summer, so the product is definitely fresh and they make it in small batches. The flavors were real and you can easily see it in the scoops. It wasn't too sweet and the texture was reasonably smooth.

My favorite flavors were the rose hip and the poppy seed. Will definitely come back.“

“I was walking through the neighborhood the other day and stumbled across this tiny ice cream shop that caught my eye. Inside the place were covered with a menu and a nostalgic smell-like vainilla and waffle cones. The have a variety from cookies and cream to matcha-pistachio. The place was clean. The girl behind the counter was friendly. I stood at the window watching people walk by while the sun did its best to melt my cone. Honestly, I felt like a perfect little pause in my day and definitely I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.“

We ordered a pack of 6 cookies to bring to Spain with no expectations that they would arrive whole in the suitcase and surprisingly they arrived perfect 😃 (later I realized that they could be carried in your hand to take them on the plane as a personal item) 😉

“I'm not really an ice cream person unless it's exceptional and tastes homemade. Astoria doesn't have many places that sell good ice cream, but Ample Hills is an exception. It has delicious ice cream and fun flavors, and they let you taste samples. So far, all the flavors I've had or sampled have been excellent, though I'm partial to the coffee flavors and butter pecan. I do wish they had more sorbet flavors for those of us who prefer sorbet over ice cream. The only sorbet they have right now is mango. But still, if you're really into ice cream, this is the perfect place!“

“I walked in to this beautiful establishment and I could not figure what out what I wanted. This establishment offers so many different types of choices it’s hard to keep up with all of them. I asked one of the employees what her favorite yogurt flavor was. When asked she said that she likes all of them and would love to help me to a sample.
