“Greenport Distilling and Bar is no longer in Greenport. It has recently reopened on the site of One Woman Winery at 5195 Old North Road in Southold. In addition to great cocktails based on their own gin, vodka and bourbon, you can also opt for a variety of One Woman wines.
They are open every day except Tuesday from 11:30AM to 6:00PM. On Fridays, they stay open for Jazz Night from 6:00 to 9:00.
The musicians vary from week to week but they have all been good. What does not vary is the quality of the cocktails, wines and delicious snacks. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The newly renovated barn provides an impressive and comfortable environment to relax and enjoy.“

“Good food, friendly spot, big fan. Been coming here for years. Here's my 1 suggestion: for the takeout ...why not offer online ordering? I have to call for take-out, which usually results in the line being busy (in the summer). If I can't get through I have to go elsewhere, which stinks because I live close by. Then, if I do get through, have to provide my credit card info, which is very 2006. Maybe ownership simply doesn't need the takeout biz and prefers it this way, and that's fine, but remains frustrating nonetheless. Just my .02 cents.“

“Had lunch today as first time visitors with my family of 5 (3 young kids). We had the best experience! Our waitress was so friendly and attentive! She might be our favorite waitress ever. She gave the kids activities and toys to keep them busy. The food was great and the dessert with candle for my daughter’s 5th birthday put our experience over the top. Brownie sundae was fantastic! We can’t wait to go back. So happy we found this spot.“

“We decided to head over to grab a cocktail ? after dinner. The Black Llama is in Stirling Square. This lounge is situated in the same square of the 1948 pizzeria, American Beach Hotel and Restaurant and the Tree bar. The evening was absolutely perfect. We went on a Friday night and it was a good mix of people at each place I mentioned. The Black Llama had a DJ playing music ?. I enjoyed it. I believe the type of music the DJ was playing is Electronic Dance Music - EDM. The drink menu is unique which is what I expected at this lounge bar. The waiter was super helpful and offered up suggestions. A relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside but I took a look at the inside and it looked great. Our cocktails were delicious. Also, for those who might not want alcohol, they do mocktails. I will go back ! It is a special spot.“

“Excellent from beginning to finishing my meal. Joseph our waiter was spot on recommending the wine and specials. We enjoyed our meals ,water view and best service. This is our go to restaurant when we visit Greenport. See you next trip in from Queens.“

“Minnow at the Galley Ho is AMAZING. Honestly, I don’t know what the people who complain here are even talking about—some folks will find something to whine about anywhere, but this spot doesn’t deserve it at all.
The food? So fresh and flavorful. The grill specials are insane. Perfectly cooked and seriously some of the best I’ve had. You can taste the quality in every bite.
What I also love is that they actually care about being sustainable. It’s not just talk—they really put effort into making sure the food is responsibly sourced, which makes it feel even better to eat here.“

“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and everyone hit. Unique, artistic, and delicious. All of the serving staff were attentive and our main waitress made excellent recommendations, including the wine pairing for our entrees. Speaking of the entree, perfectly cooked and seasoned filet. Melted in our mouths like butter with a phenomenal side of puréed potatos. Dessert was a revelation. I personal haven’t been a big fan of rhubarb pie, but their strawberry rhubarb pie with pistachio ice cream made me a believer. Also split their incredible warm chocolate cake with Carmel sauce. If you are in the area and you are looking for a special meal, this is the place. Hats off to the chefs!“
