“Juqi was a nice dining experience. Most of the dishes when served were presented in a way to elevate one's dining experience. I was there for a birthday dinner and we were seated in a room. The table felt small at first but the waitstaff knew what to do that it never felt too crowded. Besides the food being good the waitstaff were consistent with changing plates and bringing the next course. Some of the dishes that stood out was the beef and tomato soup, the duck, the black rice that is set on fire (the aroma was pleasing where you're not sure what ingredients were put in) The soups were presented in a small ceramic bowl and tea lights were put underneath to keep it warm. This was a set menu and because there was a lot of food it was hard to keep track. Overall a good dinner out and a nice place for all group sizes to celebrate a special occasion or just a nice evening out.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “I had an amazing experience at this hotpot restaurant! The meat was high quality, the seafood was super fresh, and the vegetable selection was generous and vibrant. “Best Italian deli in NY hands down. End of story, no discussion. Get the Tonys special, get a panini, get the home cooked plates (chicken parm is amazing) , get anything... it is all amazing. The staff are the friendliest guys around and just hanging out there and listening to the convo's feels like you have been warped in to a Scorsese movie. Make sure to also try the frozen cappucino.“

“I had two wonderful experiences at Mojo in August 2025, and both visits were nothing short of excellent.
On Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, I stopped by to ask if I could place an order in advance. One of the hosts, Emily, kindly explained that it wasn’t possible but shared a very helpful tip: the restaurant tends to be busy on Fridays and Saturdays due to Forest Hills Stadium concert events, while Mondays through Thursdays are much less crowded. She also patiently walked me through the vegetarian and vegan options, even pointing out which vegetarian dishes could be made vegan. Her thoughtful explanation convinced me to plan my visit for a weekday instead of the weekend.
On Tuesday, August 26th, 2025, I returned and was served by Delaney, who was incredibly friendly and energetic. She even asked whether I wanted my dishes served together or separately. Since I wanted to take a photo for my Google Maps review, I asked for both dishes to be served at the same time. I ordered the black bean burger (made vegan) and the Mojo vegan ceviche, along with a side salad instead of fries. When it came time to pay, Delaney helpfully explained that the tip was already included in the payment system, ensuring full transparency. I really appreciated that level of honesty and clear communication.
As for the food—absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and exactly how I requested for my vegan diet. Mojo is now my top recommendation for anyone looking for vegetarian or vegan options in a warm, welcoming environment.
If you love good food, great service, and a place that truly values its customers, Mojo is a must-visit.“

“All vegan except for fish, which is kept on a separate steam table. The food is all pre-made and kept hot on a steam table, so service is quick. The service is extremely friendly, and the workers are happy to explain the dishes to you. They are also knowledgeable about what is soy-free/spicy/etc. The medium plate was $16.50 and the food is so good that you will think about the meal months later. It was worth every penny. I cannot wait to go back!“
