“Got my baby shower deserts here. I asked my friend to pick them all up. We went to the shop in person before ordering. Ambiance is nice very cute but I wish they have a restroom. Service is good but to order for my party, I had to contact them thru instagram. All the food items I got were great. I also ordered some customized baby shower themed cookies which are $4.50 each.“
“My husband and I got our gender reveal cakes made here and we were absolutely blown away! From our initial encounter, the girls at the shop were so friendly, accommodating, and excited to help. We explained what we had in mind, a vintage style heart shaped cake with the middle filling being pink or blue to reveal what our baby would be. They COMPLETELY nailed the cake & it was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We also requested a second cake, their signature tarte style, but in a heart shape decorated either pink or blue to share with our family once the reveal was over. The tarte cake literally made me cry that’s how beautiful it was and the macaroons were out of this world! 10/10 recommend thecookieshop for any of your special occasion bakery needs!“
“This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! Food ranges from good to exceptional, but their pastries can be hit or miss. Drinks are consistently good in my opinion, my girlfriend is not a fan of their iced coffee which she thinks can be inconsistent. What keeps us coming back is the famous egg sandwich which is pickled to perfection and oh so yum! I don’t think they have enough tables and maybe would benefit from eliminating one or two of the benches to add 2-3 more tables…like a typical coffee house a lot of people seem to work from there and can linger for hours. Service is great. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, there is a shared lot but it can fill up quickly.“

“We recently used Philly Pretzel Factory in Smithtown for a school event and ordered 750 pretzels from Craig. They were all individually wrapped and ready to serve. “This place is above and beyond. They have amazing conchas and croissants. I went an hour and a half before closing and the pastries were still warm and very soft , you can ell everything is freshly made and they dont sell stale food. This is now my go to bakery on the island.“

“I have been coming to this bakery for YEARS and it's my go-to for any need. Not only are their pastries, breads and cakes fantastic, they serve espresso, hot food and juices that are great as well. “I am a former NY'er that came to visit family and do some college visits with my daughter. Stopped in to St. James Bagels on accident and I'm so glad I did. Had their breakfast bagel with eggs and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. Eggs were fluffy and the bacon was perfectly cooked. The people there are wonderful. In particular there was an older gentleman there (can't remember his name), who was so genuinely kind to me and my daughter and also very funny. My daughter absolutely loved the place, both the food and atmosphere. It is my go to place whenever I am back in NY to visit.“
