“Celebrated my husband's birthday at George White Restaurant on a Sunday evening. Great menu with lots of choices for every taste. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

We had a 7:30 reservation for a high top, although you can just walk in and sit at the bar, and this was our first time there. If you are looking for the traditional restaurant menu this is not the place. It is what I would characterize as a good place to meet with friends or significant other at the end of the day for drinks and lite bites. The menu consisted of various appetizers, salads, charcuterie and pizza and I will say all the food and drinks were amazing! As you can imagine the atmosphere is a bit lively depending on the number of people and seems to get livlier around 10 pm. If this sounds fun to you its worth checking out.“

“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!“

I ordered wood grilled kona lamb. The dish was prepared to perfection, well served and delicious.
Considering the location and area, if you are seeking a classy restaurant with amazing atmosphere, seasonal delicious menu, and yummy choices then I highly, highly recomend this restaurant.
And don't miss out on their shot glass, gorgeous desert menu.

“My wife and I are pizza fanatics specifically Neapolitan style. A hybrid gas, wood fire grill that makes a near perfect pie. We split a Margherita and Mushroom pie.

The Cesar salad was great, a touch of lemon zest and crispy lettuce.

The meatballs were high quality and this is coming from a self proclaimed meatball master.

“We very recently had my mother's 80th birthday party here at Two25 with 40 attendees. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. First of all, it has a modern, calming and upscale vibe. The restaurant and restrooms are immaculate. Crisp table settings. Cool jazz lightly cascading through the sound system. Just great overall ambiance. From the moment I walked in to inquire about having a party, I met Caitlin, who deftly and expertly handled every single issue, before, during and after, with ease and grace. She made sure that our experience was perfect. A true professional and a credit to the establishment. From the moment that our party started, the staff was incredibly attentive and intuitive. The appetizers of arancini, wontons, and artichokes were absolutely delish. The salads course was perfect. And the main dinner courses were expertly crafted. I personally had the short ribs which were melt in your mouth deliciousness. My wife's salmon was cooked to perfection. And although I did not taste the chicken Milanese, everyone who had it reported it to be excellent. The dessert of gelato and cappuccino was the perfect complement to the amazing meal. And if I didn't stress this point enough, Caitlin and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate every whim. As an amazing example of that, before the day of the event, I mentioned to Caitlin, quite off-handedly, that although their beer selections were top shelf, they didn't have my go-to beer. Would you believe that the manager, Andrea, went out and personally made sure my favorite beer would be on hand for our event. Now that is what I call service!!!!
All of our guests were thoroughly impressed and everyone, invariably, had nothing but positive reviews for the event.
Two25 has skyrocketed up to our family's favorite restaurant.

“Been going to Mill Creek Tavern frequently over the last 10 years and was never disappointed. They have a great menu with numerous choices and also have daily specials. The service is above expectations. Always pleasant and efficient. The service staff stops by frequently to remove dishes and anything else on the table that you are done with. “1st time trying a Capital Grille. Came to celebrate my birthday with my wife. Reservations are a must at this place as it can get busy and even with a reservation they may ask you to wait till seats are available.

From the moment you are seated, the staff make sure you are taken care of. They are patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Our server Nicholas and the managing partner Richard ensured that whatever you were celebrating, you would feel special. Highlights of the meal included a wonderful birthday card with decorated table, well created drinks, the lobster bisque, 48oz porterhouse steak, the lobster Mac and cheese, velvety mashed potatoes, and the scalloped potatoes (which most places I've been to don't even offer). Seeing I was curious about dessert, they even offered a complimentary sample of 2 mini desserts and allowed me to order the main dessert separately if I wanted. Nothing felt pushy, rushed or fake. “We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

The menu caters amazingly to both vegetarians and carnivores. The menu is unique and the food hits every single part of your flavor palette, absolutely delicious. “So good. We have been going there for 20+ yrs and it's always great. Love the fact that I can get half portions of the pasta dishes. My staple “go to” pasta is always the Linguine Nere Con Gamberi but this time I got (half portion of) the Cacio E Pepe. So good! Our friends had the lamb chops and the Chilean sea bass which were also excellent. Cocktails are always amazing too.“

“We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

The atmosphere was upscale and inviting, though very loud and crowded that evening, which made it feel a bit understaffed. We both enjoyed our meals; service was attentive and friendly, the hostess who sat us down noticed my upcoming birthday (likely from OpenTable) and asked whose it was. My wife pointed me out, and they treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and made it feel celebratory. However, our table was in a high-traffic area, so staff (servers, busboys) kept bumping my chair throughout the night, which was annoying and disrupted the meal. They apologized each time, which was appreciated, but it happened repeatedly.“
