If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

Everything we ordered was great, but our bartender, Neschmy, definitely elevated our experience. “The food and service was excellent. All three of us had the salmon BLT. A plus that it's on multigrain toast. They served the mayo on the side so it wasn't slathered too heavily and the side chips were great, not greasy or salty. I substituted a salad for the chips and it was generous and fresh. Our server was friendly, efficient and had a sense of humor. We had a great time and will be back.“

“Some of the other reviews on this page make me smile. Opinions about this Mamaroneck institution are as strong and mixed as their cocktails, but as various bars open and close all around it, this place stays true to itself. It's a neighborhood dive bar of the sort that are ubiquitous in my native Wisconsin, but rare gems in the NYC metro. Craft cocktails and small batch IPAs will not be found here, but simple mixed drinks and domestic drafts are always on hand. Darts and a few other bar games are cheap or free, and the beautiful original window storefront opens up wide to let the warm air in on summer nights. I have had some great memories here and it always feels like a sip of home.“

At first, I was a bit worried because of the stairs at the entrance but was pleasantly surprised when they showed me the lift for my wheelchair. The bathroom is also disabled friendly. Overall, great experience! Will definitely come back when able“

“Bar 141 is a beautiful eatery that is upscale but with an inviting and friendly atmosphere. The menu features a diverse array of gourmet dishes. They were also quite willing to accommodate me by making a delicious vegan dishes which I greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and customer service is excellent. I would definitely recommend Bar 141 for drinks, dinner and the live entertainment.“

“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“Such a great local gem! We visited QB's for the 1st time on week 2 of football after seeing them listed in our local paper writeup on the top sports bars in North Jersey. It was a fantastic experience from the initial contact via DM to reserve an outdoor table which they gladly accommodated my party of 3 despite a minimum of 5. The service staff were all friendly, attentive and very personable. Their football menu was extensive as well as their drink specials. The owner Mike went around to every table ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves, introduced himself to us, gave out free raffle tickets for a giveaway and even handed each of us a complimentary beer coozie. I told him we will be returning in 2 weeks after visiting Metlife for the home opener and he was more than happy to invite us back to make a reservation.“

“Bar attached to the Sonesta White Plains hotel. Limited option for drinks and food, but they are nominally priced when compared to other restaurants nearby. I had steak, it was perfectly cooked and sumptuous. And had egg benedict for breakfast, all tastes good.“
