“Foo Chow, more like Foo WOW! Considering I said “wow” after every bite I took. My friends and I decided to order for our Friendsgiving and it couldn’t have been a better decision! The food was prepared fast and cooked to perfection. The steamed dumplings melt in your mouth and the Crab Rangoons had so much flavor you could feel it in your toes. It’s safe to say there were no Rangoons left behind. If I could give this place 10 Stars, I’d give it an 11!“

“For a Chinese TAKE-OUT place, the food here is quite good; especially the dumplings. Usually take-out dumplings are extremely doughy, but H&L Dragon's are pretty decent.My hot and sour soup was a tad thick, but it was good otherwise.“

“Love this place. I’m only a few minutes away from them, and they have never been disappointed. The lady that takes the orders is super sweet. She always calls me sweetheart lol as someone who was not raised with much affection, that always makes me smile lol. good food and good people. You can never go wrong with that. The chicken and broccoli, fried chicken, rib tips, chicken fried rice, and steamed/fried dumplings are usually my go to. Haven’t had a complaint yet“

“The food comes out fairly quickly, especially if you go earlier in the day. But it's so delicious. The string beans and the general tsos unchicken will be go to's for me from now on. It's just all so well seasoned and the flavors are all delicious. The honeydew drinks were also really good, but if you're looking for a sweeter Thai Tea, maybe don't go for this one. Still good though! And the service is kind and prompt. Ended up going twice in one week!“

“This place is amazing! I had the chili wontons and omg! The wonton is so juicy and the chili sauce is so tasty! Also had the fried chicken rice bowl Which was really good. “This restaurant used to be located more further down on westchester ave. It was called Monte de oro (gold mountain). I used to go there when I was a kid to a teenager. Then, it closed down. Thank god it relocated more up westchester ave. Under the name of el pabellon de oro (the flag of gold) It still had the same waiters & owner so I knew the food would be the same(delicious). It is a Chinese Spanish fusion. My go to dish is the steak w/ shrimp fried rice & plantano maduros(sweet plantains). Staff is ok. I like that the inside has a fish tank. It also has a lobster tank where you pick your own lobster. They had this in the old restaurant. The environment is just ok. I really came for the delicious food!!!“

“Without question the best Chinese food in Westchester County. Everything is fresh and delicious. O'Mandarin used to be my go to until Szechuan City opened...a much better value I might add. My favorite dish is the pork with hot pepper. The sautéd pea shoots are also incredible. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.“

“I got delivery and it was so quick, and I can’t believe how good it is. The dumpling wrappers are so fresh and the perfect thickness, are cooked perfectly. Lots of juicy flavorful pork inside. The broth is incredible, and so complex and flavorful, spicy tangy and rich. Delicious fresh scallions and cilantro. The scallion pancakes are perfectly crisp. Can’t wait to try more of the menu.“

Since we couldn't take leftovers with us we split an order of lomo saltado and one of tostones, and both were delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and patient as we figured out what we wanted to order. Service was quick but not rushed, and at 5:30 on a Saturday it was busy but not crowded. Plus it was very convenient since it is right across the street from the venue. Definitely recommend this spot!“

“I am from Brooklyn and had to be in the Bronx quickly ! I always heard the Bronx had better Chinese food than Brooklyn…Well let me tell you! Brooklyn don’t have no buffet with take out ranging from $7 -$13 depending on the container size and fill it with alllll you can….idk if I’ll be back because I truly avoid going to the Bronx butttt this Chinese food didn’t make it allll the way home ! I sat and ate some in my car! I got Crab in there , chicken broccoli, baked chicken, plantain , 2 type of rice a piece of sushi!! I was pleasantly impressed!!! So happy I got to try this ! The BRONX CHINESE IS BETTER THAN BROOKLYN & CHEAPER! “I visted Tasty House on 9/30/23. I purchased a sesame chicken with brown rice combination plate as well as a pint of broccoli in garlic sauce! I also had chicken wings, which were plump and juicy. The food was delicious and their staff is always friendly, no matter how busy they might be.“

“Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It is a great option when you need your lunch or dinner to take out. Delivery is also an option using any of the apps available but being so close to my home, I prefer to pick up the food. The service is fast if you consider the large number of orders that they receive by phone, which you can listen to ringing while waiting for your dishes. The quality of the dishes and their prices are not comparable with any fast food if customers take into account the time of preparation, the balance of the ingredients offered (including vegetables and meats), and the flavors that, different from a burger or hot dog , results difficult to replicate at home. Remember, the restaurant is only to take out.Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It's a great option when you need to bring your lunch or dinner. Home delivery is also an option using any of the available apps, but being so close to my house, I prefer to pick up the food. She said it would be about ten minutes but I don't even think it took that long. Shortly after sitting down she told me my order was ready and I was on my way. The food I had was good and I will order from here again. I highly recommend this place.“

“Great place for two or the fam and even a party of 20! First time my family and I came to this place. We waited like 15 min instead of the 30 the waiter said we would wait and then we were seated. Like any other food buffet, we ate and we ate and we ate! Wow the food was so good! It was fresh and tasty! The waiters always make sure everything is clean and the food is hot. The ambiance is nice with the colored lights and beautiful painted ceilings. The bathroom is a big one for me but surprisingly it was super clean! So good job!!! The variety of food is crazy! There is so much to choose from. Basically something for literally everyone. It’s my daughter’s birthday and I let the waiter know and she was so nice to get her a cupcake with a candle that she was able to blow out , take a pic and feel special. I will most def go back here with my mom and friends. Did I mention all 3 of us ate and only spent 70$! On a Sunday! The buffet i usually go to called the queens buffet which is ok we pay way more! Yet, a few weekends ago, they had people - inside and out - waiting to get in - due to c19 - and the other restaurants were scarily empty. If actions speak louder than words, what does that tell ya? “Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in.As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice!Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!“

Went there on a date with a lovely friend expecting the usual Kosher Chinese fare that I have had from LA to Pittsburgh to my hometown here on Long Island, NY. However this restaurant astounded me, it was different!!!The food was fabulous!!! We both had the 'Hot and Sour' soup, and it was impressive! The temp, was just right, not luke-warm as I have come to expect in many restaurants, and, not scaldingly hot, but just right! The spices were hot as they should be, but not too hot. As I said, I was amazed!!!Then for the mains, we had, Spicy Chicken and Curry Chicken. Again the spices were quite hot, but not too, at least for me. They were just wonderful, tasty, yet with a subtle delight. It is hard to express. And we both commented how the presentation of the food on the plates was 'picture perfect.'I would suggest you go and write your own experience! I live 30 miles on the other side of the NYC metro area where traveling can be a challenge all on its own, but for this restaurant in the Bronx, NYC, NY, Kai Fan, I will be returning!!!ps I only wish they were closer to me here on Long Island!!pss I was served by one of the owners, and an owner was on duty at the cash register!
