“We used harvest smokehouse for catering a party of 50 ppl. They knocked it out of the park. We knew their food was delicious already, and that did not change for their catering. Everything we got was beyond delicious. They helped us figure out how much of each item we needed and they nailed it. I can’t stress it enough, this food is DELICIOUS. Make Harvest Smokehouse your choice, wether it be for lunch, or catering an event.”

“Came for the donuts, had a great conversation with the staff. I got 1 of every donut they had available at the time I was there. They were what I consider the best donuts of the many I've tried. Also I tried the cannoli and it was also probably the best cannoli I've tried in NY. Will definitely return.
Finally had the chance to return for the cronuts and they were great, so fresh and fluffy, also tried a cherry Fritter wasn't as good as I had hoped it was a bit flat and could've used some filling to help with it being a bit bready and slightly dry.”

“FIRST I woukd like to thank the staff at the Valatie Dunkin Donuts on 9H for providing excellent service after my experience minutes before at the East grennbush Dunkin. I had the worst experience at this place this morning, sad to say because normally no matter what, they give service with a smile. Most times I go there on my way to work, I have to have my coffee adjusted to taste right. I order it the same way: sugar cookie, 1 sugar, Xtra cream, stirred well, and a egg white veggie wake up wrap. Some mornings it's good other times it taste like the sugar cookie flavor isn't added, and they are aware of this and they fix it. Actually a few times the sugar cookie flavor was left out. This morning I said to the male employer after I tasted the coffee and it wasn't correct, "I might have to start going to a different Dunkin". This employee starts taking it personal and visibly has an attitude. Saying things to me, the consumer, like: tell us how you want it then, and you always say it's not right. I have to admit I was taken back by his approach, yes I'm picking in the product I purchase but nevertheless, wouldn't they want customer satisfaction. I went on and stated," I don't know how I want it, I order it the same way here and at any other DD". I go on to say the other Dunkins never have a problem getting it right. So he closes the window, walks away, and I can see everyone looking his way, and mine as he continues to chatter. He returns with the cup of joe with visible coffee spilling all over the sides, and I ask for napkins to wipe it off, he wipes it off for me then hands it over. So we continue having this heated debate, and it ends by him saying if you don't like your coffee pull around and come in. For one moment I became slightly enthused with the idea of going in the store, but with his obvious sour demeanor, and my natural instinct to fight for what's right, I decided to decline his offer, my exact words were: "no, I'm good just pass me my sandwich". He handed it to me with a snap of his wrist and a disgusted look on his face. I drove off, and once I checked my croissant I made the decision to go to a different DD (5$ wasted), but once I realized the croissant I ordered was incorrect to, trust went out the door. It was supposed to be super toasted well with a small amount of butter, guess you guys know it was totally the opposite; drenched with butter and hardly toasted. Is this the image, service, quality, and impression you want consumers to be left with. One bad egg can spoil the bunch. I am just one consumer with an experience, but I do have a voice, and its my constitutional right to express it, and my right to expect good service as an consumer at your business East greenbush DD”

“I know the food is usually on par, but their morning Crew, they need balancing. I was skipped 2 times in the drive thru, and I didn't get to order. I was told the shift was switching and mistakes were made. I don't understand skipping a person by a speaker, I couldn't go anywhere but speak with them, and I was passed over 2 times.”

“For the sake of full disclosure I’ve worked with the owners for over twenty years in the television industry. They have brought the same dedication and amazing attention to detail that has resulted in their tremendously successful careers, to their wonderful new restaurant. They have thought of EVERY detail from the whimsical videos playing in the rest rooms to the sugar cubes for your espresso... they have missed nothing. The menu is inventive and perfectly executed... Watermelon Gazpacho?! Whoa! The unique presentation of the Calamari appetizer was wonderful. Bouillabaisse?! You don’t find that as the seafood option very often... what a treat. Others in my group enjoyed perfectly cooked steaks and the slightly smoky Mac & Cheese. Of course the cheese plates are spectacular. This is one of those meals you won’t forget! But wait did I mention the speakeasy downstairs? The perfectly appointed room features an amazing menu of craft cocktails AND six draft beers to choose from... including Ommegang Rare Vos... you simply don’t find that on tap anywhere!! Finally a word about the service. It was impeccable, perfectly attentive without being stuffy. Chris and Ellen have created a destination restaurant!”

“A perfect summer meal in a gorgeous garden - when we arrived we discovered their daily menu had few vegetarian options so we asked if the chef could make some simple grilled vegetable and instead he made 7 exquisite, world class veggie dishes - our server told us he took it as in inspiring challenge. while the beef and shellfish dishes enjoyed by half the table were perfectly executed (in facvt, the clam broth made we swoon in joy) the vegetarians were the winners (and graciously shared their summer bounty with the whole table)”

“My husband and I had our 90-guest wedding at the Vanderbilt on 6/8/24 and it could not have been any better. We found the Vanderbilt on Airbnb when looking for a unique wedding venue, visited it in January of 2023, and booked it instantly- didn’t even see another venue. As stated in previous reviews, Henrietta made the planning process as easy as possible. We communicated mainly via email, but she allowed us to come to the space as often as we needed (I think between both of our families we were there 3 times). She also provided a list of vendors that previous wedding parties had used at the Vanderbilt, which I used for our planner, tent company, shuttle company and photographer (all great). When it came time for the tasting, we were provided with an extensive menu of food and drinks curated by Matt. We were blown away by the food. As the wedding day approached, Henrietta was easy to communicate with and flexible. She helped us plan a thorough rainy day plan B, and was the bearer of good news when she called me 2 days prior to tell me the weather looked good and we were going with plan A. The weekend of the wedding was incredible. Our families stayed in the 8 rooms upstairs Friday and Saturday night. Henrietta and Matt were in early on Saturday to get everything prepared. Their team was incredible. After the ceremony, Henrietta greeted us with champagne and a congratulations. When cocktail hour ended and we realized we were so busy that we didn’t even eat our appetizers, Henrietta put together a plate for us and brought it over. I’ve heard from a number of guests that the food was the best they’ve had at a wedding, and I agree. It’s important to note that the staff was also FUN to have around. Bartenders and servers interacted with guests and kept the energy light and fun. The next morning, Matt prepared a great breakfast (much needed) for those staying at the Vanderbilt, even including some leftovers of our banana pudding dessert from the night before. Now let’s quickly talk about the space. The Vanderbilt Lakeside is the most unique space I’ve ever seen. Each room has its own personality and is decorated meticulously and beautifully. I only had to bring in decorations for the tables, as the venue itself was already perfect. The deck was a perfect fit for our 90-person dinner. The lawn, outdoor bar, and lawn games were a hit for those who wanted to chill out rather than dance. The Bar room was the perfect size for our musicians and a dance floor. The rooms upstairs are clean, all about the same size, and all have their own bathrooms to make for a comfortable stay. Overall, I cannot recommend the Vanderbilt enough. We’re racking our brains for an excuse to host another event there. Henrietta and Matt are incredible to work with!”

I have rarely been so satisfied with the freshness and preparation of a meal but these folks are putting in the care and work to do things right, my waffles were stellar definitely not made with pancake mix like so many mediocre restaurants do everything was well seasoned and nicely presented by an attentive staff.I garuantee you anytime I am any where near Chatham I will be dining here(I live in Maine but visit friends and relatives in the Albany area)!”
