“I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“I don’t like beer, they always have plenty of other options. The selection changes. I enjoy the variety. They have events. I haven’t done the table top gaming night yet, but it looks fun.
It’s a good spot. easy to get to by car or train.“

“Dinner, ambience, staff were 4 star! The cauliflower appetizers were delicious. We both had a seafood pasta dish that I wanted to finish, but couldn't. “The Tapp is the quintessential local bar. The staff are very friendly, the burgers are phenomenal (as is everything else on the menu), and the prices are more than reasonable. If you find yourself in Tarrytown for shopping or seeing a show at The Music Hall, make a stop at The Tapp a part of the experience. Better still, make the trip just to visit The Tapp alone. It really is a great place to hang out with friends, catch a singer, play Tuesday Night Trivia, or have a terrific meal.“

“On December 12th my law office had their holiday luncheon at this wonderful restaurant. I also ordered a tray of meat lasagna for Christmas. If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The chef created the meat lasagna - a simple dish - and elevated to something that just melts in your mouth with deliciousness. LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant!!“
“We hit this place last night on a whim on the way home from a gig…Megan the bartender was lovely! Funny, witty, and adorable! She made us a bar pie and was very diligent about getting it just right! This place is great and we made friends with a couple of cool fellas who are regulars there. My boyfriend ended up in a conversation about guitars. We came from lands far away so this was just a whim but we will definitely be back! This place is old school cool with great service! Thank you for making us feel welcome!“

We've been here just a couple of times but our last few visits were tended by Nadean, an absolute delight! Im a super picky eater and tend to have a lot of special requests, but my girl makes me feel like a regular person - no irritation and my order always comes out perfect
The only reason for i pulled a star was because we were sat by the kitchen and my boyfriend is sound sensitive, so the constant dish clattering was rough for him
Maybe consider a sound barrier between the tables and the kitchen, at least by the sink?
