“Me and Bae had some errands to run in the bronx and decided to get some food. He's been years back but it was my first time trying them. As soon as we walked in there was a line that was wrapped around the whole place. It's a Lil confusing but we found the back of the line and slowly but surely made our way to the front. We ordered two beef and chicken patties, two coco bread, one meatloaf(beef filled coco bread) and two carrot juice and a ting soda. They get u up outta there fast tho and it's only cash. When we were leaving the line was forming outside the store so just be patient. We couldn't wait to get to the car and tear into everything. The first one I grabbed was the beef and while it was good it wasn't as seasoned as I thought it would be. But the chicken I really enjoyed and it was a Lil spicy. I ate that with the coco bread. Bae put his whole beef patty in his coco bread and devoured it lol but even he admits the beef was better back in the day. All in all I Def will be back for that chicken patty and soft delicious coco bread. Oh and that carrot juice was delicious as well Def recommend grabbing one!“

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “Nick made my wedding cake and I couldn't recommend ordering from him more. He was extremely professional and kind and was great to work with from start to finish. We did a cake tasting before and were so blown away with his coquito flavor (and so happy to include some of our latin culture in our cake). “I stopped in because I was patronizing another business in this shopping area. I immediately amazed at all the different types of pastries here. Yes, it's pretty pricy but so worth it. I had the croissant donut, a sugar mochi donut and a strawberry pastry on a chocolate croissant, I can't remember the exact name but when I tell you I have been thinking about these ever since I tried them I am so serious! “I found Bertha after doing a search for two tier custom cakes in the Bronx. I was unsure and a little skeptical about ordering online from someone I couldn’t physically meet but I took the chance and ordered 7 dozen cupcakes and a two tiered chocolate cake with chocolate filling for my daughters sweet sixteen and they came out so beautiful and delicious. She asked me to send a pic of a cake that I liked and she replicated the cake so well with my own lil spin on it. She did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her and buy cakes from her for any event I may have in the future. Also, she is much cheaper than most bakeries that usually would charge $800 for the cake I wanted. I only paid $280 and the cake was just as beautiful as the cake another bakery quoted. “I liked it! I got some as a gift so I didn’t visit the actual store. All time favorite thing here was the strawberry pastry (if the business replies; please just say the name of that one) SO good. I would come back for that. Fantastic. Fluffy and light and airy with a perfectly sweetened cream fluff inside. Wow.
Corn cheese bread was sooo fun. If it’s served warm; I bet you it’s fantastic but I did eat it a couple of hours after it was ordered.
The fig bread had an amazing texture to it. Light and fluffy like Portuguese bread (I did personally wish the figs were cut smaller to enjoy more evenly but that’s personal preference)
The variety of stuff was really fun! Some things I did not like at all but my friends did so that was just personal preference.“
