“The chicken platter was probably the best one i’ve had in a while, the hot sauce is actually legit. Doesn’t use any red food dyes like halal munchies. Very nice guy and the price is very budget friendly. It even came with pita bread slices and i didn’t even ask for it. You even get a free drink with the order which not a lot of carts and the sit down halal spots like naz, shah or halal munchies do anymore. Good parking spots nearby as well since it’s located in a strip shopping center.“

The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. “It’s so clean here, I even posted it on TikTok. The man at the front counter was super helpful and the prices are worth it! They even have combo meals for certain items like the hot dog combo which was amazing, it came with hot dog, fries and a soda! It’s sanitary compared to other places. Definitely 10/10 recommendation. They don’t play with the food when it comes to here. They have plant based options if you don’t eat meat and even gluten free options. EDIT: I forgot to add, it’s also HALAL“

Service was great too: food came fast, and staff was very friendly. the establishment is very clean and looks great on the inside , room for sitting and eating . I will definitely be back very soon.

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! “First off I used to come to this spot when I was growing up. Time has changed and new ownership has taken over. The last owners were great. The new owners has upgraded the place and it looks great. The most important thing though is the food! and the food remains to be amazing. It's even better now because they offer halal, bubble tea and you can use your card(back in the days it was only cash). They also got a new machine that you can order from which is cool but I rather order from a person still. Keep up the good work.“

The halal carts around my neighborhood stopped the free soda and hiked up the prices YEARS AGO. I HIGHLY recommend the place! Also, the man working the halal cart has a nice flirtatious charm to him! “Honestly, the food here is great. My go to is Honey Chipotle Chicken. Every bite is enjoyable, the portion sizes are large (and cost effective) and the staff are all great to their customers. The small talk doesn't feel forced either.
