“Food was good. Had wings and beef on weck. Service was not good. Sat at a booth in the bar area. This was a Saturday at 4pm. Not busy at all. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us even though there was at least 3-4 that we saw wandering around. Definitely not as good as the original, but hoping they’ll work out some of the kinks.“

“I ordered the Buffalo Bills pizza for the playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. First off, they contacted me when the game was rescheduled and offered accommodations so that I could get the pizza and bake it myself as they weren’t open on Monday when the game would be played. THEN called back again to let me know they were going to open on Monday after all and scheduled a time for me to pick up my pizza. Awesome customer service and only outdone by the delicious pizza!! “If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Rhino’s Pizza is hands down the best pizza place in town. Every time we order, the food is fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Their classic pepperoni pizza is unbeatable. The crust is perfectly crispy, the cheese is just the right amount, and the pepperoni has that amazing flavor you cannot find anywhere else. But the real showstopper is their pickle pizza. At first, I was not sure what to expect, but it has quickly become a family favorite. The balance of tangy pickles, creamy sauce, and melted cheese is pure perfection. It is unique, memorable, and worth the trip on its own.

The quality here is consistently excellent, and you can tell Rhino’s puts real care into what they serve. “I had driven by this pizza place for many years and not tried it. I read the reviews and my bestie was in town and we decided to try the pizza and wings. It was the best on both accounts. It is very old school. Got to meet Nino and chat with him how he got in the business. Both the atmosphere of caring about the food he makes and the people he served is revealed in an excellent product. I would highly recommend!!!“

“I had a review show up on my page a while ago. I followed up by following their page on FB. Today I couldn't put it off any longer "A LARGE CHEESE PIZZA FOR $12.00" are you kidding me. typically I like to add some toppings when ordering a pizza but I wanted to see what the bare bones have to say and by the way when they say large they mean it. It reminded me of the way it used to be instead of the large size other shops typically offer today which don't come close. I went to pick it up and when I entered the shop it immediately presented a very nice "Vibe". There were several pizzas ready with a variety of toppings for purchase by the slice. The room smelled amazing. The environment is welcoming and clean. I spoke with the woman at the counter who may have been the owner and I meant to ask but was engaged with other questions since it was my first visit. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was so flavorful I truly did not miss having other toppings added, although I am anxious to try them with my next order. As a result, I ate more than I should have and had to force myself to stop. Still we all know how nice it is to have some leftover for later. If you have not tried them yet, don't hesitate. I also notice so many other great items on their menu. Oh well so much for my weight goals.“

First litmus test is the quality of bread with a full complement of spices to prep your own dipping oil. Check! Special of the day, Seared Halibut on a bed of risotto, didn’t disappoint, nor did my samples of homemade Rigatoni à la Bolognese (just like Mom’s Sunday sauce) or the Chicken Milanese! Completed the meal with an ample slice of homemade Ricotta Cheesecake with Berry Compote. The owner checked in with us several times. The table service was perfect. The glass enclosed wine cellar in the middle of the dining area completed an impressive ambience and dining experience. Run don’t walk to this most pleasant gastro treat!“

The bbq sauce was epic! @strangebird you need to shrink the size of the bbq spaghetti to a fries size and server them with the handhelds in place of French fries with that bbq sauce. Cuz heck yes! That bbq sauce on the side as a dipper 🤩🤩🤩. Great job to the staff. Bigger vehicles might wanna park on the street. If it’s busy, the parking lot is very narrow.“

“We are from Baltimore and pasted through Rochester NY. We looked up places to eat and this place popped up. I order a burger and fries and my husband ordered a full rack of ribs. It was absolutely amazing. Ribs were falling off the bone. I ate my whole burger before we decided to take a photo. The lady that took our order (wish I had gotten her name) was great. “I’ve lived near scottsville for my entire life, and we order from marks probably twice a month, and the manager always grabs my pizza as soon as he sees me enter the door, doesn’t even need my name. Tonight I pulled into my spot and was responding to a text someone had sent me before getting out to go inside, when suddenly he was at my window with my pizza. Talk about curbside delivery! “After a tip from friends, we checked out Merchants Wood Fired Pizza & Bistro. It's in an out of the way location, but is so worth your trip. Nestled in a city neighborhood, this place is delicious with a super cute patio. Food gave off an "Old School Italian American" vibe in the best possible way. We enjoyed flavorful housemade meatballs in a great sauce. Burrata was tasty with the most delicious charred tomatoes (we omitted the prosciutto at one diner's preference). The salads were just the right size if you wanted to have those and split a pizza, which two of us did. The Funghi Pizza was tasty and had just the right amount of truffle (some places go overboard). This was a super hit -- very crave-able! For our pickier diner, the Spicy Cup Pepperoni Pizza was the perfect option. Both pizzas had a nice crust, baked nicely, and a perfect amount of cheese. Service was friendly and attentive. Everyone greatly enjoyed the meal. We'll definitely return.“

“One of the best Italian places in roc! Love it here for a quick cutlet for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend a reservation and keep in mind it is extremely loud in there. Vibes are great with tables close together (kind of NYC style) but it’s very loud due to that.
