“Inside the restaurant really looks like stepping on the streets of Mykonos. The baklava was amazing. We also ordered the falafel gyro platter and shrimp suflaki and chicken gyro. We all loved our food but what we loved even more was meeting the owner Thomas. He is naturally entertaining and charismatic! Chatting with him after we finished our meal was the icing on the cake. “We visited Mont Olympos Diner in Yonkers on a Monday afternoon and were seated right away which was great! The menu did have plenty of options to choose from, though the prices are definitely a bit higher than your typical town diner.

We ordered the bacon grilled cheese, Philly cheesesteak sandwich, Parmigiana sandwich, eggplant Parmigiana sandwich, and a burger — all came with fries. They also brought out a plate of coleslaw and pickles for the table, which was a nice touch.

Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but our food did take a while to come out. The diner wasn’t busy so we expected a bit of a quicker service, but overall the food was tasty and the experience was pleasant.“

“I love the fact that they're open for breakfast and lunch for the days I need to get a late breakfast or early lunch and lunch places aren't open until after 11. I always get their traditional gyro, but I recently tried their butternut squash soup and loved it. I'm definitely going to have to get more of it the next time I go just to take home. Not much of an "atmosphere" but to be fair a lot of places with a lot of take out don't have much atmosphere, but the staff are nice and have character.“
