Always had friendly service- even if the person walking by is not our server - they always smile and make eye contact, food has always been delicious. “We started our tasty journey with the Olives, featuring the Castelvetrano and Cuquillo varieties. They have just a hint of orange that makes a boring bowl of olives a standout taste experience. The Potato Latkes were up next, served with tobiko taramasalata and tarragon. The combination is absolutely incredible, striking a perfect balance between texture and flavor...perfection.For our entrees, our group had the Ravioli Dauphine and the Lamb Meatball Bomber. The ravioli, filled with tender lamb shank and drizzled with beurre blanc, accompanied by scorzonera and crispy kale, is fantastic. The Lamb Meatball Bomber is delicious with its kale, sumac onions, and garlic yogurt. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the Braised Chicken Leg, paired with black futsu squash, lentils, sage, and endive. It's no exaggeration when I say this is the best meal I have ever had in my entire life. The depth of flavor, the perfect cook on the chicken, and the harmony of the accompaniments is simply unparalleled. We had the Vanilla Panna Cotta with lemon, honey, and toffee for dessert. I have no words that adequately capture its sheer perfection. The Little Club delivered an exceptional dining experience. If I could give them six stars, I would. Every dish was a testament to the chef's mastery over their craft. I cannot recommend The Little Club highly enough; it is an absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining at its best.“

“My husband and I brought our nieces (8, 8, and 12) in at 5:00 on a Saturday, before taking them to Shea’s. The hostess quoted 45-60 minute wait and it ended up only being 15 minutes so we were very grateful. I also love that we were contacted via text when our table was ready so we were able to take the girls back to the car for what we had assumed would be a 45 minute wait. The service was great—Mike was so good to our littles, talking directly to them and being patient, kind, and attentive. Food was great and came out super quickly. Including 2 apps, a beer, and 5 meals we were out for under $130 including a 25% tip. We were blown away with the price, especially given how expensive life has gotten. Happy to share this experience with our friends in real life and on the internet. Thanks, Big Ditch!“

Each and every one of us absolutely loved and raved over our meals and drinks. Some of the freshest oysters and a delicious meatball to start our night, with espresso martini's and wine. I had the pork chop special with pear chutney and WOW, the biggest and moist cut of pork I've had with an amazing flavor profile. I had the fruit cookie for dessert and it was absolutely divine. Our server, Amanda, was so friendly and helpful, suggesting apps, working with my friend to find the perfect red wine for her, and even humoring my other friend to pick a meal and surprise her- and she picked well! Good service makes all the difference and we can't say enough about her and the atmosphere here. I have friends who routinely come to Hutch's and all I can say is I've been influenced and hope to return much more frequently! Thanks for an amazing dinner experience to celebrate my 30th!“

“This place was crazy fun, the atmosphere was amazing, and the conversations were enthralling. The bartender is a hoot... and a cutie ?, and the people there will have you wheezing.Besides that I gotta give compliments to the chef. I got the Angus burger and let me tell you, you gotta try it. They add something sweet to the burger (I skepticize it to be some sort of jam) but the contrast that it makes.with the savory burger is amazing. Not to mention the Fry's cooked to perfection; exactly what I needed. All around the place was very clean, definitely up to date on everything; and from what I've seen of the kitchen there's not much to worry about. The bathrooms were spiff and span and the mirror was cool.Which brings me to my final point, The layout. I had to say the design of the bar was very classic, you come in and are treated with a bar and a few tables and a booth wall. The kitchen connects behind the bar and out of the bar and a kitchen window. Then a small hallway that leads to both genders bathrooms and some other off limit stuff I presume(Didn't snoop around too much XD). I really like the bar and how the spirits were backlight. To summarize, id give it a 5/5 if you're looking for a good time. Thanks if you actually read all this.(PS, Sam, nice tattoo)Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with a door wide enough, no automatic doors but I'm sure a bartender or a fellow citizen would help.“

“Okay the food, the setting, the layout!!!! 10/10. Self service for food- using a QR code that is placed on tables for the servers to run the food out to you PIPING HOT! Seat yourself and water and napkins and plates and wet-wipes (you’ll need them) to share were all easily accessible with both entrances.Went with a couple of friends and we tried:Pretzel and queso app ($14)- STUNNING, queso was a perfect blend of Smokey and smooth and the pretzels came in rods (4) and were piping hot 10/10Wingnutz dip ($13)- I know this is what they are known for but I personally like my chicken wing dip, spicy. The chicken was tender though and came with a massive plate of fresh chips. 8.5/10Spring Rolls ($13)- YUM- fresh out of the fryer laying on top of a bed of kimchi (not too soured or prickly but the perfect complement) and a sweet Chile sauce. Really fresh and crisp 9.5/10Last Dragon Tacos ($18)- WOW- these were super flavorful and fresh even with the very generous meat portion. Sometimes it can be too overwhelming, but they nailed this one between the kimchi and pickled red onions giving the taco the bite it needs, to the very tender brisket, and the sauce that adds a kick! Dynamite! 10/10Roasted Cauliflower Taco ($15)- packs quite the punch in a mouthful- really tender cauliflower that soaked up all of the delicious sauce served with. 8.5/10Wingnutz Chicken Sandwich ($16) with their Cajun fries. Note for the fries- absolute perfection, LOVE a fry that is just about half an inch thick- gives a great crust and super fluffy inside. Their chicken sandwich was MASSIVE, genuinely think they used half a chicken on it, soaked in a hot honey brine- they have perfected a Nashville style fried chicken and DONT forget the pickles (thick cut)“

“One our first visit when we arrived it was pretty busy and seemed frantic. The staff and who appeared to be a manager were speed walking everywhere. We looked at each other and the bartender looked up, smiled and said quite friendly "someone will be right with you". And in about 10 seconds they were. We got sat, and took a good look at the menu. Our server walked up after a few minutes and greeted us. We got welcomed, told the specials, asked if we had any questions, answered our questions, took our drink order and was politely told he'd be back with our drinks and to take our food order. HOW NICE! Service, actual good old fashioned professional restaurant service! He promptly came back with the drinks, chatted a bit and took our order. As we waited we watched the restaurant show. They were still busy. The bar was full. All the employees were moving fast but safely. Especially the manager she was zooming. Helping the bar, clearing tables, seating customers, chatting with customers, running food. It was actually very entertaining. The food shows up quickly. My wife had the Rodeo burger and I had the Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. She really like the burger and I was AMAZED with the chicken sandwich. And what was funny was I generally don't order a chicken anything when I'm out. But when asked what was surprisingly good that's what he recommended and boy was I happy. The rest of the meal and dining experience didn't disappoint. We chatted with the manager and complimented her entire staff and food. We now have a new restaurant on our "Proven" list.“

“Wow. My coworker knew about my love of French onion soup and insisted I make the trek from the north towns to this place. I can say, there wasn’t much reason for our family to travel to East Aurora after one of fav kids museums moved, but now I have a reason to make the haul! We stopped by here after taking our kid’s to a gym in the area and I’m glad we did. I’d say that this might be my favorite French onion soup on the basis of the rich flavors alone. My wife and I went back and forth comparing it to our number one. I felt this is a little less cheesy than my typical favorite (or maybe it was slightly more cooked than I’m used to) but the flavor of the broth and ingredients are the best. We weren’t ready for dinner so we just ordered the soups and got fries for the kids. My daughter was raving about the fries and the service. She kept saying “we have to come back.” I agree!“

“I am most sure why this place was almost empty on a Saturday night…we were a party of seven and after about 8:45 and the early diners left it was empty. You all are missing out! Our service was attentive and friendly. The drinks were well balanced and priced well. I had the grapefruit Cosmo which sounds odd but it was refreshing and balanced. I had the fish fry which was a LARGE piece of fish with Cole slaw and pasta salad. Normally, the sides are kind of an afterthought. Not here. Both had flavor, freshness and weren’t put in those little paper side cups. The fry batter stayed on and you could actually eat both and the batter at the same time. I have found in Buffalo that oftentimes the batter doesn’t adhere and you eat just plain fish…not my favorite. My partner had the burge and she told me the beef actually had flavor. She asked for medium well and got it. Usually when you ask for medium well you either get medium and well done. Hers was cooked just right. My other friend got the shrimp and grits. It was huge. She actually got about 6-8 ( I didn’t count) but knew it wasn’t four which a lot of times is the standard. The were good sized and she finished the entire dish which is unusual for her. She was t was delicious. Another person for the rack of lamb and he said it was phenomenal. Truthfully I was talking so much I didn’t pay attention to the other food at the table lol. During the meal a gentleman came over and asked how our meal was and we all commented that it was great! He seemed very happy and thanked us for coming and would enjoy seeing us again. We stayed and had drinks right up until closing and never felt rushed. The bar still had patrons that I am sure are regulars and everyone seemed to be having a great time. One of the owners came over and and how we had heard of them and I told her that I used Google and Yelp and they had gotten great reviews! She went on to tell us about their great patio and to be sure and use their parking lot as well. As you are are aware parking at a restaurant in Buffalo can be challenging. Having a parking lot is a premium! We can’t wait to enjoy the patio this summer but will go back again for dinner and drinks before then! You all are missing out if you haven’t tried this place!Parking: Side of building with access to the patio as well.“

“Swannie House, located in Buffalo, NY, is one of the city's oldest and most iconic taverns, embodying a rich tapestry of history that intertwines with the development of Buffalo itself. Established in 1886, it has served as a testament to the city's evolving social and economic landscapes, playing host to a myriad of stories from its inception to the present day.Situated at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Ohio Street, Swannie House sits in the shadow of grain elevators and the Buffalo River, placing it at a strategic point in Buffalo's historic First Ward. This neighborhood has long been associated with the city's working-class roots, particularly those working in the shipping, grain, and steel industries that once dominated the area. The tavern's inception dates back to a time when Buffalo was a booming industrial city, benefitting from its position as a critical node in the Great Lakes shipping network. The Swannie House initially served as a haven for laborers, offering refreshment and respite from the demanding physical work associated with the nearby docks and grain elevators.Over the years, Swannie House has maintained its reputation as a gathering place for locals and visitors alike, preserving its traditional ambiance while adapting to the changing dynamics of the neighborhood. Its proximity to the Buffalo River and Lake Erie has made it a favorite spot for those looking to experience the city's waterfront renaissance, which has seen significant investment in public spaces and amenities, revitalizing the area's historic charm and economic vitality. The interior of Swannie House reflects its storied past, adorned with memorabilia and photographs that chronicle the life and times of Buffalo's waterfront and its workers. The menu, too, pays homage to the city's heritage, featuring classic Buffalo fare alongside a selection of local beers, making it a culinary landmark in its own right.Swannie House's enduring appeal lies not just in its longevity but in its ability to embody the spirit of Buffalo. It stands as a living museum, a place where stories of the past are preserved and shared, contributing to the city's identity and sense of community. Its resilience and adaptability mirror those of Buffalo itself, making Swannie House a beloved landmark that continues to attract generations of patrons, drawn by its history, character, and the warmth of its welcome. While specific details and events can enrich the history of Swannie House, the essence of its story is a testament to the enduring bond between a city and one of its most cherished institutions.“

“Went on a Tuesday before they started their open mic. They have new vegan food here and HOLY. Buffalo is severely lacking in the vegan/vegetarian food realm and this was perfect. I got a 'chicken' and waffles and it was incredible. They also had curry onion rings, which I've never seen before (not pictured) and were also bangin'.“

“Would have given a 5. My friend I dined with is vegan. Our server was great and recommended the gnocchi dish with mushrooms and broccoli, because it was vegan and flavorful, so my friend went with that. Unfortunately, It came out with cheese on it which was disappointing. So that's why I'm giving a 4. So I waited to eat until a replacement dish came out for her. Other than that, cocktails, service and ambiance were great! I enjoyed one of the specials for the evening - squash ravioli with a side of flat 12 mushrooms. I ate every bite. Also really enjoyed the chocolate black out cake, with thick, creamy whipped cream on top and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Went for dinner on a Friday at 6 and made a reservation. Very nice experience, not too loud. I've been a few times over the years and will definitely keep coming back.“

“Our order - Brothers fried chicken sandwich, seafood platter and our 2 kids got a kids grilled cheese meal each.Everything was well cooked (kids both commented on their sandwich not being overcooked like most places), perfect size portions, and flavored. We noticed "parties of 4+ may be charged 18% gratuity ) on the menu, other local places this usually 6+ or 8+. The 18% was added to our bill.“

“Went for my engagement dinner with my partner and was not disappointed! Firstly, we had the best server who was so friendly and accommodating as we initially started out outside, but then my partner was a little cold, so were able to move inside without any interruption to the service experience. She was the best. In terms of the food, I opted for the Pasta Bolognese, which was very yummy. Definitely wish I had some leftovers. My partner who was in a rabbit sort of mood, I suppose and got all appetizers for her dinner, including the bread basket, mussels, and clams. She seemed to really enjoy them a lot, though she mentioned she didn't care as much for the sauce base they were both in. For drinks, I opted for a Classic Cosmopolitan and she had Prosecco. I really enjoyed my Cosmo! Almost got a second one but resisted, haha. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nicer than average dinner out with well above average deliciousness.“

“Hosted a party for 40 people in their back room and they were so lovely and easy to coordinate with! Tony was amazing in the booking process and worked with us to create a delicious vegetarian menu and our bartender Edie was amazing. Highly recommend for a private party (max 50ish people probably).“
