“Carlos the waiter was cordial and very welcoming. Food was like Mom’s home cooking in Puerto Rico. David the owner has created a very welcoming environment that gives a feeling of being back in the island of Puerto RIco right here in Yonkers, NY. If you are looking for a good Puerto Rician dish then this is the place to go. Excellent.“

“Really good food. You get buffet style and then you pay by the weight. But i get to pick from so many Ecuadorean dishes that like. I wish i had a place like this in NYC but definitely recommend for the good food and price. I paid $20 for plate, soup and soda. Too much food had to take it to go.“

“Absolutely stellar experience at Mirabella's Latina Cocina! The carne asada was perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Their handcrafted margaritas were a delightful treat, perfectly balanced and refreshing. Arturo, the proprietor, brought a special touch to the evening with his charming Latin hospitality, making us feel truly welcomed and appreciated. To top it all off, the tres leches dessert was the best I've ever had, a sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Get there soon before this hidden gem in West Chester becomes too popular—it's the best-kept secret around!“

“This is a diamond in the rough. The items we ordered were very delicious and the quantities are very large. I always get an encebollado here and it is one of the best ones in New York. This time I tried the fritada and it was very good. You can't go wrong with a bolon, basically everything I have had here was delicious.“

“Me and my boyfriend decided to come here for an early dinner (6pm) on Valentine’s Day. Even with no reservations they were able to seat us.
We both got a cocktail, two different sushi rolls, and entree. It honestly was a 10/10
To top it off we had the kindest waiter, JORGE was his name. Big thank you to him for making the experience so pleasant. We will definitely be back.“

“I called in for papusas and got a variety to try! I loved every single one but can highly recommend the papusas with pork and beans; it is definitely my new favorite dish. The wait was about 15 minutes after I called to place my order, which was not bad at all. The owner was very kind and gave us a slice of pizza to try for free, which was good as well. Overall, great experience, and I will be coming back soon!“

“We shared a GUACAMOLE with plantain chips. It was fresh and flavorful. I had the FAROE ISLAND SALMON. The salmon was flavorful and well done on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband enjoyed his medium CHURRASCO 14OZ. The drinks were strong 💪. I recommend this place. I enjoyed the old school salsa music.“

“My husband and I like to try new restaurants for Friday date nights. This one is close to home and didn't disappoint at all. I am actually still sitting at the restaurant while writing this review!! Lol I ordered the passion fruit marg and stuffed chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The marg was yummy 😋! I would've loved to hear some bad bunny, but overall great vibe. My only eh was that our server seemed like he was having a bad day, otherwise awesome!! I will be back! Thanks for having us.“

“Pretty laid back as for an early summer Sat dinner. Went to cou ter to order and got my order pretty quickly. I had the 1/2 chicken with fries and salad. Was pleased with all this. Yum!The beverages did not include non-augar options of their Inca Cola, Coke, Pepsi, and assorted nectars. So I just had plain tap.“

“Stopped by while in the area looking for a bite to eat and came across this restaurant. Noticed that the prices in the photos online were different from those in the restaurant, likely older pictures, but the prices overall are reasonable.
I ordered a small lomo, and it was well-seasoned with a generous portion. The lady at the counter was very friendly and attentive throughout my visit, which made for a great experience.
I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again! Also, just a heads up, the green sauce has a nice kick to it (which I personally loved).“

“Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“

“This restaurant gets a FULL 10 out of 10, was here last night May 2, 2025 to celebrate my mom’s 86th Birthday dinner!! The STAFF SERVICE FOOD ATMOSPHERE was OVER & BEYOND!!! They made sure we was SERVED RIGHT & then they surprised my mom with cake & Music singing for her!!! She was in HAPPY TEARS!!! I highly recommend THIS PLACE to ANYONE!! “I had the special of the day which consisted of chicken soup, breaded, steak, rice, and salad. I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when I first the soup. If you know, you know it was excellent! I loved the steak and a rice. It was perfect, and the owner could not have been nicer. The weight staff was very attentive as well. I normally go to Jackson Heights Queens, but that’s a schlep. I’m so happy I found this new spot which I will make my own well worth the visit he won’t be disappointed.“
