“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. “My mother's 90th birthday Celebration was hosted by Eastwood Manor and their staff. We got a beautiful and clean space to entertain my mother's guests. The staff was attentive to our requests and injected a suggestion or 2 when necessary. Boucher and Boston are worth mentioning as they stood out. The lady with the reddish brown afro was quite responsive also. The entire staff was friendly and responsive. Whoever is training the staff is doing a great job, as the standards were visible. The food was also great! Friendly and responsive staff, great atmosphere, and great food made the Celebration fabulous, all we had to do was show up doing our part...decorations, DJ, videographer, slide show etc. I would definitely secure Eastwood Manor for hosting another event.“

“I just got my Twins 21st Birthday this last Saturday I will say yes I do recommend it because of the delicious food , accommodation, tables set up, bartender and servers ( kind and warm), the bartender was on beyond my expectations but They need to hire another hostess who is willing to help, follow instructions and get better management floors My guests were lost sitting on any table when I approached to her at the beginning of the party with instructions she answered that she won’t need it. That is why the welcome guest part was a COMPLETE DISASTER When we were getting ready for the toast none of us got a glass so I went running to the table to serve the drinks she approached to me saying THATS TOO MUCH ALCOHOL and I looked at her saying I DO KNOW WHAT I AM DOING and my question is WTH you should ask me how I can help you or if you are an experienced hostess you will know what is that for ??? Honestly she did not deserve any tip even tho I did tip her I got extremely dissatisfied with her attitude different relatives and guests asked who is she ?? People are calling me for leftovers! Courtney was wonderful. She worked and re worked the menu so it was exactly what we wanted. Magically she made vision happen in my home! She was attentive and detail-oriented. Anytime I texted her or called, she responded quickly. My guests absolutely loved the event, the food and the service. She was able to help us with valet services, open bar services and any request we had. We had the most incredible time celebrating our special day with Nadia at Versailles Palace. “We recently held a fundraiser at the World's Fair Marina and we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. The staff from the beginning were extremely accommodating and made sure to take care of us as we were busy hosting the fundraiser. They even came by and hand delivered drinks and came to us with a plate of appetizers. The little things matter! The room was set up beautifully with pink decor and the room brought tears to many eyes as we threw this fundraiser for an amazing friend of ours. The food was absolutely delicious. We had lemon piccata, pepper steak, sausage and peppers, penne a la vodka plus salad. It was an amazing spread and people went up for seconds. My kids loved the rice in particular and especially the dessert table of pastries and fruit. The bar tender was a sweetheart and their homemade fruit punch is so tasty. It's virgin so kids had it and they loved it. Adults added some liquor and wow - amazing cocktail. Without a doubt, this venue is the place in queens to hold a party. The gorgeous views and amazing service + food = a great time for all! So much gratitude to the staff and owners for being so accommodating and welcoming.“

“We booked Hams Sushi for a 50th at home sushi birthday celebration. The sushi chefs arrived 2 hours before to set up and watching them work away was already a teaser for the main attraction. Guest who arrived early were mesmerized as the sushi chefs started making an assortment of colorful nigiri and rolls. The raw fish was some of the freshest fish we’ve ever tasted and the Hokkaido uni and toro were the highlights of the evening.
