“We had an amazing experience at Dagim in Great Neck! We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and they truly went above and beyond to make the night feel special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service made the entire experience even better.

A special thank you to our waiter, Roman, who was fantastic from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. He really helped make my wife’s birthday celebration memorable.

“I stopped by Tiger Sushi because the atmosphere looked really inviting, and I wasn’t disappointed. The inside was very spacious, and you could tell the food is made with pride and love. Everything was perfectly balanced, not too salty, not too sweet, just right. Can’t wait to go back. Best sushi place in town!“

“Everything was delicious. We hosted a Purim breakfast at our temple and everyone was so happy and full. I personally put in the order myself and everything from ordering to delivery was so smooth. We ordered large quantity of variety of bagels with all types of cream cheeses, salmon salad, white fish and tuna. Plus we got crepes with ricotta cheese which were Devine. And we ordered lots of croissants 🥐 , plain and chocolate which by the way are huge. I can’t say enough how fresh and delicious everything was. Highly highly recommend this place!!“

“Very good Sushi, one of the better ones in crown heights. They are not super heavy on the rice, and the veggies and fish inside are fresh. Reasonably priced. They also have their own spin on the neighborhood classic Potato Bagel, a little bit underwhelming on this one compared to the bagel shop, but still a very satisfying meal.

Brilliant idea to stock Chili Lime chips from Trader Joe’s here at the supermarket. It’s a high markup sure, but very popular here.“

“We arrived on a flight to JFK and wanted dinner. This is perfectly on the way from or to the airport. We ordered food via our mobile device on the way. It was ready as we arrived. The food was absolutely scrumptious, delicious beyond what we even thought it would be, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place whether you're just on the way to or back from the airport or whether you are in Queens and need some delicious kosher food. This place gets five stars all around.“

“Full disclosure, I know and really love the owner and his family. However, even if I didn’t , which I do, I’d give this five stars. Pizza is fresh and delicious, the place is spotless and they are always cleaning, portions are plentiful, the falafel is fantastic and I love how they warm up the pita to give the sandwich a nice crunch. Service is great. When we got there no one knew we were friendly with the owner but we were treated as if we were. Everyone was. Fast, efficient and good. Also, love the large seating area in the back. Great spot!“

“The tastes are magical. The decor is lively and graceful. I feel like I am in Paris. We had the KREPLACH, the salmon bacon on a BLT, the MARYUMA, which is a more exotic type of shakshuka, the scramble eggs in a blintz, the chocolate babka. When I asked for tea, he offered me Paris by Harney & Sons: exquisite. While we were here, a delivery person brought a box of frozen fish. He had walked in the rain to deliver it. The owner made him sit down and gave him a cappuccino. What a MENSCH! Everything is perfect about this place, but the flavors are transcendent.“

Nothing overly complicated just really well-made sushi that tasted incredible.
You can tell the fish is fresh and high quality.
The atmosphere was great and made the whole experience even better.
The staff was genuinely friendly, and the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
That personal touch made a big difference.

“A friend of mine and I had a lovely experience at Laffa Bar and Grill. The outside tent was spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious! I also like the changes they made indoors. It has a very nice ambiance. The Owners are warm and welcoming as well as each of the staff. Service with a smile..how refreshing! “Thank you for catering my first holiday meal in GN. Everything was delicious. Turkey was juicy and succulent and went great with the couscous and sausage stuffing with plums. I used the liquid you gave to make it even more moist and have already made blintzes and salad and turkey fried rice with the rest.“

“We have eaten at both the Roslyn and Great Neck locations and have always loved the food, ambiance and efficient and friendly service. This past weekend we ordered their most popular Shabbat package (package #2) to enjoy at our own table. It was off the charts. It was still warm when I picked it up Friday afternoon. We were told it would feed 3-4 people. It fed 5 with tons extra. Everyone loved the food. It saved me hours of work and I dare say that my guests preferred it to my cooking 😀). Thank you colbeh!!!!“

“The best kosher asian spot, the entrees aren't as heavy as other Chinese food places & taste incredibly fresh and flavorful. We loved everything we tried, highly recommend ordering the miso soup, Angela roll, chicken w/ mixed vegetables, beef w/ broccoli, general tso's chicken & fried rice.“

“*4/5 stars — Great hall and food, one staffing issue*

We held our event at this hall and overall it was a really nice experience. The venue is clean, well-decorated, and has a great layout for guests. The food was a standout — fresh, hot, and flavorful. Everyone at our table commented on how good it was.

The only issue we ran into was with one of the volunteer staff members. Instead of serving, he sat down and ate with the guests. He also cleared plates and removed food from the table while people were still eating. It was awkward and threw off the flow of the meal a bit.

Outside of that, the rest of the team was attentive and the manager was responsive when we mentioned it. For the quality of the hall and food, I’d still recommend booking here. Hopefully they address the volunteer training so guests can finish their meals in peace.

“I have fond memories of eating here or ordering takeout many years ago. The middle aged older man behind the counter was always very friendly and the food is quite good. Think of it as catered wedding style food and you pay by weight for many items like a deli counter with some tables to eat in. Also good sandwiches for take away.“

“I had an incredible meal at L’Chaim Restaurant and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment you walk in, the warm atmosphere and friendly service make you feel right at home.
The food was exceptional—juicy, flavorful shish kebabs, perfectly seasoned grilled meats, delicious handmade dumplings (the pumpkin manti and dushpara were highlights!), fresh salads, and aromatic soups that warmed the soul. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality.
It’s clear they take pride in their Bukharian/Uzbek kosher cuisine, and it shows in every dish. Perfect spot for a family dinner, celebration, or casual night out. We’ll definitely be back soon—highly recommend L’Chaim to anyone in the area or visiting Queens!
