“I really loved this place. It has a nice indoor and maybe an even nicer outdoor area. The staff was very kind too. I came here with a mission. 😎 I’m a huge fan of tripa so of course i tried the TRIPA taco and i chose ASADA too with steak. I really loved both, the textures, the flavours, everything was great. I loved the texture of the tripa tha most!!! Oh and the texture of the tortilla… wow, i loved that too. 😋“

“I couldn’t get a picture of anyone’s food since we all dug in right away but the food here is amazing! We had their Birria tacos, a steak meal and a steak fajitas meal—chef’s kiss! They were very kind, welcoming and family oriented here. The place is small, I will say, it’s way smaller than I expected but nonetheless, we were quickly seated and the music was good the entire time. This was a memorable experience , thank you!“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. “Found this place online. We ordered chilaquiles con salsa verde , French toast & iced cafe de olla. The place gives a Mexican home style atmosphere. It’s a small space & got busy after 11:30am on a Saturday. We got seated quickly. The chilaquiles were shareable and had a mild spicy. The French Toast was MASSIVE and shareable. The crust was slightly too toasted making it a bit difficult to cut through. The arrangement of fruit was nice tho. They added mango which was a nice touch. The cafe con olla does well iced and definitely has the olla taste. Highly recommend the chilaquiles con steak y salsa verde. The staff were very friendly.“

“I would just like to say that I googled this restaurant. It was the first one we went for my husbands birthday. It was the best of FOOD was amazing. The Service was ex espectacular. Lorena was on top of everything. She was a great server, friendly, fun, very attentive, and we will definitely be going back. They also we celebrate my husbands birthday there with a sombrero . “Had the breakfast burrito 🌯 been wanting to get to this place for a while.

Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but it was good. The chorizo was the one I went with definitely wasn’t disappointed.

I don’t think it’s worth a far drive but if you’re in the area or it’s not completely out your way it’s definitely worth stopping in for a visit. The place does have seating but not a lot of room. There is a park near by and lots of outdoor seating near the area. That’s what I chose to do.

The breakfast burrito price was amazing especially for nyc the food was good quality and really delicious. The sauce everyone was talking about wasn’t over powering. Matter of fact I wish I had more next time I’ll ask for some on the side felt like I needed an extra pump 😂.

I truly enjoyed this place and I’m sure you guys will also the coffee was mid but it’s ok food makes up for it.

“Dolores is the perfect step above casual; dimly lit, intimate, and very “worth the wait” NYC dinner spot (and there will be a wait, so go early). We started with chips, guacamole, and cheesy refried beans, and honestly, all three set the tone. The chips were house-made and perfectly crisp, the guac was bright and lime-forward, and the beans were creamy and rich. The El Rey short rib taco was super tender and packed with flavor in a delicious house-made tortilla, and the cheese-filled croquettes were crispy, melty, and paired so well with everything. The papadilla (blue masa stuffed with potatoes) was simple but done really well. What stood out most was how well everything worked together - we said we wouldn’t come back without ordering the exact same spread.

Service was excellent! Friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. The only downside was the drink menu: very tequila-heavy with limited alternatives, but that is to be expected at a Mexican restaurant I suppose lol. The spicy margarita wasn’t great, but the cucumber-forward vodka cocktail was refreshing and probably the only one I’d reorder. Also worth noting: vegetarian options are somewhat limited, but the ones we tried were all genuinely good. Overall, Dolores is definitely a spot I’d come back to (& I hope it’s soon)!“

Our only issue was when we arrived there wasn’t any music playing for a while and out of nowhere loud music started playing which threw us off as we were sitting by a speaker. “Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.

The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

“Ordered online for pickup on a whim, and I'm glad I chose this place for lunch! The burrito bowl was delicious, and the serving size was perfect! The grilled shrimp I added was so worth it, they definitely didn't cut any corners like most places do when it comes to shrimp. The sweet plantains were also absolutely delicious. “Delicious food, good service, and a massive selection of agave-based drinks. Lovely ambiance / decor inside, and the dishes/bowls that they use are also lovely (and for sale, apparently). The place is among the most expensive in the neighborhood by a decent margin, but you certainly do feel like you're having an elevated experience (and the food was surprisingly filling).
We started with the trio of moles which were delicious, though the lightest one they offered did taste surprisingly close to vodka / tomato sauce, they provided tortillas which was nice but not nearly enough (we had to ask for more and then they charged us extra for it, despite not giving us enough the first time). The menu is rather short, so make sure there are things you like before going. The tlayuda with added meat was delicious, as were the tacos (which were $10 each) and the fluke aguachile also good (watermelon in summer is always a welcome treat).“

The presentation stood out right away, from the clay cup cocktails with the spicy rim to the branded burger bun and rustic serving boards.
