“A very good place to try. Service is great and the atmosphere is calm. The creamy tomato soup is a favorite. For two people ordering meals along with a side soup and hot chocolate, the total was under $20. I ordered lunch for breakfast. Right next to the long island railroad woodmere stop.“

“My first time at this venue, I must say I had a great time. It's not a big venue, but there's plenty room to dance and socialize. Security was super tight. It's located in a nice part of Woodmere, plenty of parking, and it's feet's away from Woodmere Lanes, so you can get your Bowling on.“

“I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was great. We wanted someplace different and charming. They greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary. When the waitress came to the table she brought us two small glasses of champagne and again wished us well. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best. We totally recomend the place.“

I came in for brunch, and I think this place is super cute, and I got such a great view of the water while dining outdoors. Owen was my server, and he was very friendly. The service getting my food and drink was a tad slow, which was understandable as I saw the restaurant was having a private event inside. They have a decent sized menu with reasonable prices, and the Meatlover Omelet I ordered tasted really good. They also make a great bloody mary as well. I was surprised that I didn't have an issue finding street parking in this area as they don't have a parking lot. Overall, I was happy with my first experience, and I will definitely stop in again the next time I drive to the Rockaways.“

The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. “This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“

“Birthday Celebration for an out of town cousin. We arrived and were immediately taken to our table. Reservations were made for 5 and we were actually 6. No problem the extra placesetting was completed quickly. Menu and Lunch Specials were provided and choices on the Lunch Specials made ordering easy for half of our party. Food was brought out without rushing and served hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. ( Pot Roast, Veal Parmesian, Bacon Burger, and Alfredo Pasta). “Small Batch is one of the best restaurants I have been to in New York. The food is beyond delicious and the service was great. I've been there for lunch when it wasn't as busy and the music was a bit too loud. I've been there for dinner and the noise of people talking was so loud that we could barely hear the music, but still worth. A bit pricey but that's fine by me since the food is amazing.“

“My favorite salad at WEST END has always been THE MANGO CHICKEN SALAD. It always included chicken. This is not the case now. The charge for greens and mushy mangoes with a bit of cheese is now approximately $18 sans chicken. That was disappointing to me. The mangoes used to be fresh but I believe that they were frozen, resulting in mushy defrosted fruit. Of course, I ordered the chicken to add to the salad. That was tender and juicy.“

“Great local bar with a very large selection of beers and delicious food cooked to order. All kinds of great bands on different nights of the week. They have fire pits in the back in a covered area with large screen televisions and exceptionally friendly staff. “Came here with a friend from Brooklyn. It wasn't too busy. Got seated right away. We ordered eggs Benedict and chicken & waffles, and sweet potato fries. They have $7 Mimosas with 3-4 flavors. So the mimosas were pretty good. Tried 3 different flavors: passion fruit, lychee, and pineapple. We both really liked the lychee one. Although it was a touch sweeter than I would have liked. My friend liked her eggs Benedict. Basically licked the plate. We chowed down on the fries. Although neither of us cared much for the sauce that came with it. So we had them bring us ketchup. It's hard to find a place that makes a good chicken & waffles. Their waffle was good, balanced with flavor good texture. The chicken was good too. Breaded nicely, tasty and moist inside. Wish they gave maple syrup with it though or just honey. They gave me some over processed syrup like log cabin but it was fine Service was great too. Our server was on it. She always appeared at the right time. Just when our drinks were getting low or if we had a question. Food also came out at a nice pace. Looking forward to our next visit.“

“This is my first time going to RoRo gyro. I ordered the RoRo hero with everything on it. It was so delicious. Also, the hero was put together by someone who cares about what they're doing, not slapped together by someone taking their anger out on it. I highly recommend this place! “It's really about a three and a half star. We came here for my birthday brunch. We had a reservation but we didn't really need it. When we entered there wasn't anyone to greet us. It was a good five minutes before anyone came to check on us. But after we were seated we got our menus and water. There was also a complementary cornbread that was still warm. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Steak. My husband had the French Toast and my daughter wanted the Nutella French Toast. When our orders came out I didn't notice right away that it was incorrect because it did look good but before I touched it I got it returned. They apologized and brought it back in. My husband already started eating his before he realized he got the waffles instead of French Toast so we decided to ignore it. My daughter really liked her Nutella French Toast. When I finally got my order, it was very good. The eggs were nicely poached. The hollandaise sauce was creamy. The steak was a perfect medium. My only criticism was that hash brown looked good but tasted stale. There were parts that looked crunchy but were mushy and gritty. (I wonder if they just reused the hash brown from my first order.) And not that it matters to anyone but I love Pikachu so they get a half star back for the Pikachu decor.“

“Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! “Went to Park Place yesterday for an early dinner. Wanted to make sure that we were able to indulge in the Mexican fare before the Specials changed for the week. We shared the filet mignon quesadilla. The filet melted in our mouths! It was stuffed with all the right ingredients and was accompanied by sour cream and delicious guacamole. For my main entree, I had the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. 3 large tacos filled with deliciously seasoned Mahi Mahi, mango salsa, etc. Accompanied by Mexican corn. Everything had just the right heat and was so good. Would definitely get these items again. My husband had the Steak Frites and, as usual, it was cooked perfectly and delicious. From first contact to the day of the event, Matt was so responsive and receptive to my requests. It was a seamless and stress free planning process, which made planning a surprise party so much easier. We did cocktail style passed appetizers, which were all delicious and plentiful for our about 60 person party! The wait and bar staff was so kind and helpful as well!! Everyone had a fantastic time and my parents had a retirement party to remember!
