“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Another hot pot place to try that has seasonal crawfish that is so fresh, you won’t regret ordering it. Crawfish are giant with fresh garlic flavoring. The soup base is out of this world and is a must try if you are in flushing. We got the tomato and pork bone and I’m telling you, some soup makes your mouth dry because of the high msg content but this one doesn’t. Everything was fresh and the staff were top notch. I know there a lot of hot pot in flushing and there are so many good ones out there but none can say they serve fresh crawfish and 12% off high school ID for students as a promotion. I will be honest, if it wasn’t for the crawfish and the discount, it would be harder to separate as there are many good hotpot spot but for now, this would be my go to spot until the promo is over.“

“I recently visited Song Lai Xiang, and it was one of the best Yanbian-style BBQ experiences I’ve had in New York.
The skewers were fresh, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. The rotating grill made the meal both fun and effortless, so everyone could relax and enjoy the food without constantly turning the skewers. Beyond the BBQ, the authentic Northeastern Chinese dishes were also excellent and full of flavor.“

The food was packed with flavor and definitely impressed the whole table.
Lamb and beef kebabs were well spiced; Glass noodles in sesame sauce were a surprising hit—everyone at the table loved them!

“Flushing has plenty of chinese food for sure, but I came to Flushing specifically to find uyghur food as you can't really find this type of cuisine in the US. And the food simply blew me away. I dont know how they make the lamb polo but that is probably one of the best rice dishes ive ever had. The lamb was so tender and rice was so flavourful. And the 烤包 (kao bao) was amazing too as it was filled w juicy sweet onions and beef. Absolutely great meal and Im glad I came here.“

“Tried this place recently and honestly really enjoyed it. The skewers were the best part of the meal for sure. Both the chicken and lamb were super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the seasoning was spot on. We kept ordering more because they were so good.
I also liked how the ordering worked. Every table has an iPad, so you just place your order there and it goes straight to the kitchen. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially when we wanted to add more food without trying to flag someone down. The food came out pretty quickly too.
The other dishes we tried were also solid and paired well with the skewers. One small thing I thought was clever was the bucket they give you to throw away the used skewers. It keeps the table clean and somehow just makes the whole experience feel more organized.
Prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Definitely would recommend this spot if you’re craving good skewers and a fun casual meal.“

“I ordered the mala flavor and subbed the intestines for fatty beef and asked for no lettuce. Soup was super flavorful and lots of topping (enoki, silky tofu skin, a quail egg, and woodear mushroom).

More old school taste with fresh ingredients. Helpful tip. Always get the pork fried rice. They just make that one right. Everything else they make is very good and they are always super nice and kind people.“

“This is the place you go to when you have one friend that wants something small like dim sum, one wants a large dish like beef noodles, or when one just wants a drink. There are other places that have better soup dumplings and etc but few places have the extensive menu and opened late. Got the beef noodles, the soft shell crab which I liked but could be less fried. The scallion pancakes oily and good. I got a Hong Kong style tea with boba. I love how flexible they are here.“

“Great place for Chinese food. The food is always fresh and tasty. Just a couple of tables and seats...... mostly take out and delivery service. I took one star off because it's cash only. So many of us don't carry cash with us nowadays. Friendly service, good food, best prices!!!!....especially for this neighborhood!“
