“This was my first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken, and it definitely did not disappoint! I had the Dave’s #2 with medium spice, which was absolutely perfect. I’ve never had a chicken sandwich this good—huge compliments to the chefs!

As a pickle fan, I really appreciated the extra pickles—such a great touch. If Dave’s were to expand to more countries in Europe, I have no doubt it would be a huge success.

The only downside was that the location felt a bit messy and unclean, but given that it was during rush hour and it's a fast-food spot, it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, a fantastic experience—highly recommended!“

“My husband and I went to Forefeathers tonight for dinner, it was excellent. The chicken tenders were delicious, the pink dipping sauce was very good. “Got the tenders and fries, the chicken was super juicy and tender and the seasoning on it was enough to eat in its own but the sauces brought it to another level. The fries were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside and also seasoned to perfection. This is a must go if youre in the area“

“The chicken is really good! The honey garlic sauce is perfectly sweet and garlicky and the plain chicken is seasoned very well. The skin has an aesthetic crunch and isn't soggy on the plain but the sauce does make the skin on the honey garlic chickens a bit soggy. I ordered a whole chicken and the chicken breasts were quite dry but the drums were perfect and juice was spilling out when I took a bite. I would give the place a 5 if it weren't for the dryness of the chicken and sogginess. Overall the chicken is extremely good compared to other chicken joints and I would still give this place a try.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Nice little spot and such friendly people. Heading back very soon“

“I think I can honestly say, without hyperbole, that this was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. The only way I can describe the chicken sandwich is it was immaculate. The sandwich itself wasn't anything new or fancy or unique it was just the perfect example of something simple done perfectly. Good chicken with Juicy and tender the breading was crispy and well seasoned and so were the fries. 10/10 would highly recommend I'd eat this everyday if I could.“

“Ok, I never write reviews, but I've had two phenomenal experiences at The Fly and needed to share!! Not only is the atmosphere perfect (lighting, candles, sexy, ENERGY, music!!) and food perfectly executed (cesar with the crispiest romaine! The green beans! The green sauce! The potatoes! The chicken!!!) but what stands out to me most is the hospitality. It's exceptional. Warm, inviting, attentive, playful. You feel taken cared of, special, safe, and like you belong – I truly cannot say that about many places in NYC where folks are jaded and, in my opinion, have lost the art of true hospitality.

This is a neighborhood spot I will return to again and again and again. HUGE shoutout to Hector and Peter for giving us two amazing experiences both times. We had a blast and that's really what it's all about. We love you guys!! Thank you for all that you do – it's really important work. xx“

The ambiance is relaxed, making it a great spot to enjoy some seriously crispy and juicy Korean fried chicken. The Soy Honey Garlic flavor was a standout – sweet, savory, and perfectly garlicky. The setup is great too, with everything you need already on the table, so no need to ask for extras.

One small suggestion: It’d be nice if they added a classic Korean side like pickled radish to complement the chicken. But overall, it’s a solid experience – delicious food, good vibes, and efficient service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!“

“Overall I had a good experience. The Chinatown broccolini was the highlight for me — fresh, healthy ingredients with a nice kick, definitely something I’d come back for. The tenders themselves were hot and moist, made with prime cuts of chicken breast. I would have appreciated a bit more seasoning in the batter, but I can see how that might be intentional to let the sauces shine and appeal to different palates. I didn’t love the truffle mac and cheese — I personally prefer a sharper cheddar and egg-based style — but the portion sizes overall were satisfying. The staff was very friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting for a casual bite. Ordering at the kiosk was convenient, though I do wish there was a bathroom on-site. Not fully convinced about the value for price given a couple of these factors, but I’d still return, especially for that broccolini.“

“Across the street from the Apollo and busy. 20 people can sit inside. The spice does not make you sweat but it’s a hot feeling! Medium is spicy enough even with 2 packets of honey and special sauce! You can share the slider entree with crinkle fries it’s so filling. Doesn’t come with a drink. The spice is curry-esque, even if you don’t like curry you will like this!“

“This place is just as advertised. Quick and simple food done very well, for a great price. I got the 1/2 chicken combo with Greek lemon potatoes. Everything was solid, the chicken was nicely cooked and juicy with a classic rotisserie flavor. The lemon flavor came though nicely on the potatoes. You also get a green sauce that comes with the meal that adds a nice acidic herbal flavor. Also, I got the grilled buffalo wings which I really enjoyed. Many places do not offer grilled, so I really appreciated this. I find especially for takeout, fried wings lose the textural component and become soggy. The grilled adds an extra depth of flavor that I personally enjoy. Overall great value.“

“I recently visited Burning Beaks in the Bronx, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! Their chicken sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. “Delicious chicken and sides with recipes straight from Guatemala. You can get fried or grilled chicken. Your sides could be rice, beans, rolls, tortilla, etc. Food was quick and easy to dine with plenty of room inside the restaurant. The food will definitely get you craving for more and more.“
