Visited again recently. In a decade, tastes can change. Quality can change. I actually debated whether to go back, because I didn't want to ruin the good memory. Well I went back, and I'm glad I did. “Despite it being a Friday night and crowded, the service was fast. Especially Maher, who served, was attentive and friendly. The place was clean, the atmosphere was stylish, the food was fresh and delicious. We tasted a lot of food as a group. Everyone was very pleased with their food. My favorites were the meat pide and crispy mixed fruit waffle. I strongly recommend it.

The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. It's convenient to have a second DeFazio's location so we don't have to drive to the original in Troy, and although their selection is pared down compared to the one in Troy, they still deliver with the flavor and quality. Be sure to check that they have the toppings you want because they often run out when they're busy. There can be a wait for ordering as well so plan accordingly! Parking is in short supply on this steeply sloped street, so this may be an issue. Overall, this is the place to go for pizza in Albany.“

“Had the Memphis chicken sub. Spicy and a bit sweet. Very tasty. Generous piece of chicken. Came with decent waffle fries. This place specializes in takeout and looks very popular for that. Very friendly staff. It's not really a sit-down restaurant. It's a kitchen with a service window at the back of a busy bar.“

Great owners!I went back to try the penne vodka chicken pizza, it is still delicious as always!One point off for the slices of pizza I had ordered. The pizza had been clearly sitting out in the restaurant. I noticed that they had pizza that had been sitting out when I came to pick up the order. Their pizza is usually very good, I was just disappointed in receiving cold pizza. I hope the next time I come back to Albany that the pizza will be fresh and hot.

Parking: Parking is not the greatest because it is on a busy street however, you can park in the church parking lot or put your hazard lights on.“

“Just this evening, I ordered take out from the wrong location. I called Stuyvesant plaza instead of Slingerlands. When I called Stuyvesant about the mistake the manager said, “ No problem”. What’s your address ? I will drive it out to you. Within a 1/2 hour this awesome guy Justin pulled into my driveway with all our food. Hot food and cold salad !! Thank you. Way to go!!“

“Got the chicken and rice to go and it was delicious. It comes with chicken, rice, lentils and a mash with some sauce on the side that was really good. The only complaint i would have is that the menus don't seem to have prices on them, but I will be going back in the future“
