“It's my go-to spot whenever I'm nearby and craving some delicious Greek food. It might take a little while to get my order by NYC standards but pretty fast for weatchester, but the short wait is more then worth it. The staff there are genuinely friendly and kind, which makes the experience even better always going the extra mile“

“Whoa! The food was amazing! Im pescatarian, so I had the fish, and it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. There was a humus plate with 3 different flavors, and the cucumbers were beautifully decorated around them. I must have eaten all of the cucumbers. In some restaurants, a fresh cucumber can be hard to come by. The fish arrived on a bed sautéed spinach, WOW ❤️❤️. The sliced pita bread with the humus was addictive. I definitely ate way more than I should have. While I dont eat meat, the other folks I was dining with said the chicken and beef options were just as delicious. It was family style, so we had lots of options. The restaurant is small but quaint, and the customer service was amazing. The food came out quickly, and there were about 13 of us. We had a reservation for 1 pm on a Thursday, and it was not crowded.
There isn't a lot of space to move around, so I would be conscious of carrying large bags or strollers.“

“Had a wonderful dinner upstairs at Axia celebrating our 53 rd Wedding Anniversary! Much more quiet than the downstairs room especially it you want to talk to your date! Loved the ambiance, wait staff, and especially the outstanding selection of food we ordered!“

“What a delicious, pleasant surprise this little restaurant was! When I walked in I honestly didn't expect too much because it was small and completely empty, and could have been a little cleaner. However the food was outstanding, and I am VERY picky. My friend and I split a ginormous Greek salad (the stuffed grape leaves were unbelievable), and we each ordered a gyro. Mine was chicken and so good! We also ordered the side of fries, and for $4 we received a large basket of fresh, hand cut, perfectly cooked fries. I don't live anywhere New Rochelle but I'm hoping to make it back there!“

“Fair disclaimer: this restaurant doesn't deserve 100% lamb. It's mainly 3/4's of the source - rest is beef. The chefs will inform you if asked. Real shame I never ate here prior to 2024, back when it was fully served (despite being a local resident for over two decades).
Now for the review.
TOP 3 Items:
1. Lamb Gyro Slice - make sure to get this with the white sauce. Their pizza's are top notch as well. Even a cheese slice is a 8/10.
2. Chicken sandwich combo with fries + Drink. Bread is tender, chicken patty quality tastes very fresh. Fries need added salt. Fruit Punch drink is amazing.
3. Lamb/Chicken/Mixed gyro. This is good for the first few times, but I definitely prefer the first two on this list over the signature gyros now.
Shoutout to their main Gyro Chef. Very friendly staff. Only would come here to mostly take out, or have a small chat with the employees while eating a slice or hot sausage.“

“We found this spot a few months ago and are in love. The food hits the right spot! The flavors are so delicious.
The staff is so sweet, the service amazing, and the food comes out so fresh I wonder why I ever bother cooking. Honestly, if you haven’t tried this place yet, you need to go. They never disappoint, so good!“

“Above all this new owner created a new atmosphere that seems very charming and comfortable. For my time here I received chocolate chip pancakes(a stack of four) w/ 2 hash browns and they were very tasty and filling. The chocolate pancakes weren’t too sweet but very carb heavy. I got a crazy potato with a cheese stick. It wasn’t dry nor too moist, the softest part was definitely the inside with the cheese. I also got a sunshine slush and a mango slush. The sunshine was a mango and strawberry mix with the same flavored bubbles and some small jelly cubes that were a happy surprise. The mango slush is much more recommended since it wasn’t too sweet and would relate more towards a frozen agua Fresca so very refreshing and light.
