“This is a diamond in the rough. The items we ordered were very delicious and the quantities are very large. I always get an encebollado here and it is one of the best ones in New York. This time I tried the fritada and it was very good. You can't go wrong with a bolon, basically everything I have had here was delicious.“

“We shared a GUACAMOLE with plantain chips. It was fresh and flavorful. I had the FAROE ISLAND SALMON. The salmon was flavorful and well done on the outside and moist on the inside. My husband enjoyed his medium CHURRASCO 14OZ. The drinks were strong 💪. I recommend this place. I enjoyed the old school salsa music.“

“My husband and I like to try new restaurants for Friday date nights. This one is close to home and didn't disappoint at all. I am actually still sitting at the restaurant while writing this review!! Lol I ordered the passion fruit marg and stuffed chicken. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The marg was yummy 😋! I would've loved to hear some bad bunny, but overall great vibe. My only eh was that our server seemed like he was having a bad day, otherwise awesome!! I will be back! Thanks for having us.“

“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!“

“This is my favorite place in the entire neighborhood! The service is wonderful, it’s small and intimate, feels like a real gem. It’s got a relaxed non-pretentious atmosphere. I come here on a whim OFTEN. Their signature drink Canelazo is the BEST cocktail i think i’ve ever tasted from anywhere, I crave it frequently, there’s just nothing like it. “By far one of the best Central American fusion restaurants in Bergen County. Everything was phenomenal but highlights were the Guatemalan breakfast, chicken flautas, pupusas, and fried plantains. The food has a very home cooked feel with fresh, high quality ingredients. And try the tres leches made in house for dessert! The service is also excellent and the owners make you feel like part of the family. On top of all that, the prices are incredible. We’ll be coming back often!“

“A true authentic Dominican experience. This is the closest flavors to the food I grew up with, compared to what I've had at home and from visiting family in Dominican Republic. No gate-keeping! I want to make sure they get all the love and recognition they deserve. What incredible food, the options rotate daily, they don't have a menu. Not even sure if they have a phone, so just pop in and get your fix! The lady working the counter is incredibly sweet and you can tell cares for her patrons and the community.

I had the sancocho with rice and a mofongo de pernil, both cooked the traditional way and full of flavor. Portions were generous, everything tasted homemade and was affordable (extra charge for credit card). Simple, honest Dominican food with no frills. Would come back.“

My husband had the skirt steak tacos which were delicious and seasoned to perfection! I had the city island basket and it may have been the best fried fish I’ve ever had! “I always come to this spot like more than I should like my wallet has/is hurting.

The food is delicious, the price is decent (has increased with everything in life) but you can get right with close to 10 bucks.

Maybe I'm biased since the food and the people that work there are from my country but they are very nice and friendly.

There is a seating area but most of the customers usually pickup. Don't eat in if you are not comfortable with troves of people coming in and out.

I consider this one of the best Dominican eateries in the Bronx, every time I get food anywhere else 9/10 times I am disappointed.

“Stick to breakfast food and you will be fine. Do not order salads and other items in the menu. They make good bagels, waffles, pancakes, eggs, bacon and fries. The pastries and desserts are also really good. Make sure to only order those things.“

I love that's it's most likely family owned as we own a family owned business also. We love to give our business to small local businesses. We ordered the chicken and rice and beans and it was well seasoned and cooked. Very tasty. We will definitely be back to try another item off the menu.“

The food was delicious and their drinks were outstanding.Had the following: 1: DomiRiqueno Pastelon, 2: Pork Mofngo 3: Bangkok Calamari 4: Home made Churros. There were other dishes we had as well. The food was blended well and seasoned. I as well as my neighbors enjoyed their excellent cuisine. I like to thank the staff, especially ISAMAL, our waitress for her kindness, and professionalism in making sure we were satisfied with their service and food and special thanks goes out to the Owner Sandra for making sure her staff took care of us and we were satisfied. I definitely will come back again. I normally don’t go to restaurants in The Bronx because their food and service are not up to my standards. I travel a lot and enjoy giving reviews on restaurants. I ordered a mangú con tres golpes and it was absolutely on point, well prepared, flavorful, and just the comfort food I was craving. The jugo de Chinola was not overly sweet and it was just right and refreshing, as it should be.

The service was just as great. Yadira took care of us with a big smile, quick service, and genuine kindness that made the experience even better. For such a small spot, it really delivers in both taste and hospitality.
