“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“The best Turkish food in the area as all other Turkish places focus on cheap, fast food. Cinar has the best food and quality and it tastes like fresh home made food. Everything in the menu is delicious. Now they have a great app for easy ordering. The service is always good there with warmth and kindness. This place is a true gem.“

“Dodona is a gem! The food is excellent authentic home made Albanian (Balkan) cuisine. Everything from burek to chevapi is perfect and the capuccino and deserts are made to match! Service (Lab) excellent and very friendly. If you are crossing the GW bridge it’s worth a detour.

“We either ordered the wrong things or it was an off night for this restaurant because our experience was nothing like what other reviewers say. Restaurant was so noisy that we had to shout to our table companions all evening. The imam bayaldi was oversalted and underflavored and pine nuts doled out as if they were diamonds. The shrimp was hard, dry, overcooked, oversalted and flavorless sitting on a bed of gloppy watery tomatoes. Half the lamb kabobs were ok and half were nothing but gristle. Servers were very pleasant, and helpful with wine selection but the wait for our dishes seemed interminable. What was good -- very good --the rice with the lamb kabobs, the rice pudding and the coffee. But too much money for bad (sorry, but that's what it was) food. As I said, maybe we ordered the wrong dishes or maybe it was just an off night.“

It's BYOB but the waitress (Elif i think) made sure to bring all we needed for the wine and checked on us multiple times throughout the night to make sure we were good.

The service staff were very young and provided attentive service. We shared appetizers including the eggplant and Pera salad both delicious! For entrees we ordered a flatbread to share the Tartufina Bianca and a pasta plate the Paccheri which is absolutely delicious. The portions are not large nor family style but for us they were just right as we weren't starving. We washed everything down with a chianti and montepulciano. The menu prices higher than what I expected almost manhattan -like it was worth our dining experience and everything we tasted was delicious. Thank you.“

“Originally we were walking to get pizza but we were reminded of this place along the way. Decided to go and try it instead of pizza. I’m glad we made the last minute decision to do it. I had a wrap with the lemon chicken, rice and a number of unlimited toppings, additions which was very good! Both of my kids and my wife had bowls and agreed that this was the right call. “It’s kind of pricey… WITH GOOD REASON! Their food is well seasoned, extremely flavorful and comes with generous portions. Their menu is customizable and they have a wide variety of options to choose from. If you can place your order ahead of time, that will cut the wait time in store.“
