“This is such a gem! I have been craving pork belly for a while now so I went to ssam tong today and let me tell you this place is amazing! Ordered a pork belly, pork jowl and beef~ the meat was tender and delicious! The staff is the best~ they are cute and hilarious! Love it!! Rico and the owner helped us with the grilling! They are so sweet! The atmosphere is so friendly and comfortable that it made the whole dining experience beyond excellent! I will definitely come back whenever I crave Korean bbq around the Murray Hill area! :)“

“Great food and service. 6 of us ordered 4 sets of BBQs and a few apps and entrees. We were more than full by the end of the meal. For around 100$ per person, great value for money. Staff was very kind and patient since was our first KBBQ experience. They surprised my friend with a birthday dessert in the end too. Highly recommend going there at least once. “Super friendly and accommodating service.Fantastic Korean dishes not just bbq meats. The Korean beef tartare is so fresh with the Korean pear. The uni mentaiko rice is a must. The scallion pancake is fabulous too. The makku original carafe was a pretty large size and so good.For the meats, the marinated galbi is really good. But I wish they had a charcoal grill since that usually tastes way better.All in all, I’d totally keep coming back.“

“Was in the NY for the weekend visiting family from FL. Always wanted to try Korean BBQ and this place came up. Absolutely loved it. There was 7 of us walking around and they fit us right in. We ordered the 5-6 meal and 2 appetizers. And it was Plenty for everyone. Half way thru the meal my 10yr old leans over and tells me. "This is the best night of my life." He's a foodie. “I liked the ordering with kiosk option where you could view pictures and customize your orders easily. I chose the Koba bowl. The portion size shocked me! My bowl looked like a mountain. “It’s a great place for a quick grab and go or even just sit down and eat. Very casual you order first then find your seating. We got shu mai which was delicious, spicy mushroom dumping was not my favorite but my partner loved it, Shanghai pork dumplings were juicy, the BBQ pork roast was absolutely diviiiine a must try and the spicy cucumbers was just a nice refresher on top of everything. My partner and I were not disappointed!“

The food is always exceptional and the service is great, Maria is our favorite waitress but everyone is very nice. We always go for lunch because it's less busy, otherwise there's always a crowd, especially at night, you could be waiting well over an hour so be sure to make a reservation.“

“I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu.The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful.The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. “One of the few AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. Even on a Friday afternoon, this place gets really busy to the point where you have to wait for a table. The price per person is relatively fair compared to other places but I feel like you get fewer options for the Lunch menu. Normally, I would prefer more options but this time I liked having fewer options since I ordered more of the same meats. Rice, side dishes, dipping sauces, and fresh lettuce are all included in the AYCE. Drinks are not.“

“I will say, Jongro BBQ is certainly delicious! However, I have a hard time justifying the price point. Their Korean BBQ is a la carte, and each meat item costs anywhere from $40-$60. I highly recommend coming with a group to help offset the cost. The meat is of higher quality than most KBBQ places I have been to. The quantity they give is not a lot per dish, but it's decent. Also, I'm not super impressed with their selection of banchan. I do highly recommend their steamed egg though! It was probably the best part of the meal. The nice thing about Jongro is the servers actually cook all your meat for you -- you don't need to cook any of it yourself. They have a 2 hour dine-in limit, so be mindful of how you spend your time there. It gets quite busy after 7pm during the nighttime, so plan accordingly. Overall, I had a good experience and would recommend coming to Jongro if you want tasty KBBQ. However, I would just keep in mind the steep price point for what you actually get during your dining experience.“

Dark, even during the day, with flat screen TVs playing K-Pop music videos and cozy tables, cushion stools with removable lids to put your belongings in. Great idea for coats and jackets as you will leave there smelling kinda smokey. After all, they're cooking your food right at the table. By the way, when you go - go on an empty stomach. You will eat!! They have an all you can eat menu and their options are plenty. With some help from my friend, having been there before; he helped choose some dishes and they were really good. They have dips and toppings, kimchi and other little add-ons to have with your food and as you choose your meats or seafood, the server places it on your cast iron pot, you watch it cook and they'll tell you when it's ready so you can enjoy. It's very family style as you're all eating off the same pot, but the server sections off portions of food to each guest so you'll have your own area to grab food from. The bulgogi and spicy pork were really good. The homemade spam was ok. It's a very unique and enjoyable experience. Definitely coming back here and bringing my son who would absolutely love this place.“

Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. Will definitely return.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot. There's also paid/unpaid (depending on the day/time) street parking, right in front of the restaurant.“

“Another slam dunk. I've eaten at Don Don twice (and planning to go more soon!) and the cuts of dry aged pork, side dishes and black sesame ice cream is immaculate. Staff is super attentive and friendly as well.If it's your first time, definitely try out the dry age pork tasting. I've also eaten at a handful of KBBQ joints at NJ and although this isn't all you can eat, I left Don Don feeling just as full and satisfied. I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“

The seaweed was not too strong or salty and was delightfully tasty. Even the onions, which I don't typically eat, became one of my favorites. The pork belly was a nice thick cut. “This was my first time trying hotpot and I'm happy I went with some pros. We ordered the all you can eat hotpot and BBQ for $42/person. The menu is extensive with all of the things to choose from. We ordered some stuff and saw the portions were kind of small so once we were done with those we ordered a little more. We did the big pot with 3 broths and got the tomato, curry, and Tom yum. The curry and Tom yum had 2 chili pepper signs beside them so I was worried they might be too spicy for me (that's why we also ordered tomato) but they weren't spicy at all in my opinion. I think the curry was my favorite. We ordered a ton of food ranging from stuffed tofu, beef, shrimp, fish balls, enoki mushrooms, spinach, udon, glass noodles, dumplings, and much more! While we waited for them to bring the food over we went and made our own sauces for additional flavors/dipping. I just made a basic sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, and hoisin sauce and it turned out pretty well! We also ordered from the BBQ menu and got a ton of food like curry chicken, satay chicken, mussels, asparagus, eggplant, beef, and more. I love the idea of being able to try a few bites of everything/new things so this was a really great night for me. Honestly everything was so good and I had fun with my friends. “After visiting the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria we walked up the block and had a nice lunch at Pig Beach BBQ. My husband and I split the sampler platter which we both enjoyed. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband’s favorite was the ribs.We were both surprised that it was more of a cafeteria style set up instead of sit down. To me that was probably the only drawback. But it was a very laid back casual atmosphere which a lot of people may find appealing.“

We started making bites with layers of mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, a piece of brisket w/their delicious sauce on top of their homemade tortilla chip, and to top it off, we would add a calbee hokkaido butter chip so both sides would be crunchy with savory gooey perfection in between. This was my second time coming to Queens Bully, the first time was literally 5 years ago and I don't recall my experience here much. I drove on over from Brooklyn and sat at the bar. Inside is a very rustic setting with a open space concept. The bartender was extremely professional, attentive and very nice. He overall knew what he was doing when I asked for a cosmopolitan and it was by far one of the best I've had in quite some time. I then ordered a painkiller which he recommended and boy was it good. I had to drive so it was a 2 drink minimum for me but I surely felt tipsy. I ordered the shrimp Mac it was so cheesy, creamy and packed with flavor. The shrimps were grilled just right and had a jerk taste to it, it did not let me down one bit. The atmosphere within Queens Bully is pretty uplifting with modern music, the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and so are the drinks. I'll be back for sure“
