“Last night our family unexpectedly stopped in while a large group (20ish people. The staff was quick to make space for us and our waitress was amazing. She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. “Everything about Main St. Café is superlative. I think they have one of the best burgers in the city. Certainly in the top five of all the burger joints that I have been to, including zips and Dellwood. But on top of that, the last time I was there, I had the homemade
roasted red pepper soup. It was as good as the best soup in any high end restaurant. Service is excellent. As far as atmosphere, it is closer to zips than to Dellwood in terms of atmosphere.“

“We had a party of 9 for my husband's birthday. They gave us a private room and the service was fantastic! Everyone said their food was delicious (Bistecca, Birch Burger, Eggplant Curry) I had the roasted chicken. The flavor was fantastic, but the chicken itself was dry.“

“Im picky about potato salad and theirs is so so good. The meats are all so good it's hard to chose. The cornbread is Grandma approved and she is picky about her cornbread 91 and she loved it. She also had the chicken and loved it. The deserts are nice size and yummy my husband had the chocolate cake said it was really good Granma and I had the banana pudding very good. Wish their prices were a little lower but hey all restaurants are now expensive but the food is worth it. Yummy 😋“

“We finally made it to David’s Kitchen & Bar (home of what has to be the city’s largest pretzel!) and it certainly lived up to its reputation! We had the fish and chips, chicken tenders and steak tips. Loved it all. And David was incredibly kind and gracious. 💗🪄In an amazing coincidence, the woman we saw earlier today as Glinda (in the Children’s Theatre production of Wizard of Oz) is a David’s employee. She wasn’t there tonight, but when the manager (her aunt!) heard we saw the show she came over to our table and had Hayley Facetime my girls! It made their night. 🥰 Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious food. We can’t wait to return!“

“Super cool outta the way spot. I’ve driven by it a 100 times and finally got to go in and absolutely felt comfortable immediately. Prices were more than reasonable and hands down the best Bloody Mary I’ve had in a hot minute. “My friend and I always enjoy eating at Anderson First Watch but this morning it was especially nice because of our waiter Jordan. He was friendly and attentive. When he delivered my friend's food, he told me he sent mine back because it didn't look up to standards. He then brought me the potatoes so I'd have something to eat while they redid my omelet. I'm grateful for people like Jordan and his supervisor who came out to talk with us. They remind me like if good.“

“I just picked up a ham at this location. I have not bought a honey baked before. I went in to pick it up and was waited in by a gentleman named Curtis. Such a kind and friendly person. I won’t go into details but let’s just say he went above and beyond in customer service. When I am I town, I will frequent this location and hopefully get to be waited in by Curtis. “My Grandson and I were at your location recently and encountered a wonderful server whose name is Cassie B. This wonderful young woman is what every dedicated employee should typify... she actually offered to assist me in opening my butter containers. She even said that she didn't even mind the customers that didn't tip her on occasion. Gave me another beer walked away.. next beer I told her I wanted to order.. got 12 wings .. wing special on Wednesday. And a sirloin to take for work.. ordered the sirloin medium. Wings were good no complaints with them. Paid decent price for all that. Got to my room wanted to check out this steak. The side salad was good sized little tomatoes and cucumbers and cheese.. but just one small dressing container.. could have used more. The steak looked good a little seared but thought probably still ok. Took a bite kinda dry and peppery.. pepper I can deal with bit I ate half way in to it. No discernible pink at all.. more like we'll or medium well. It will probably be to tough to eat cold at work for lunch so midnight munchies it is.. not really. It'll be OK tomorrow still. Price was fair girls were nice so ya could have been alot worse“

Our waitress, Jess, didn’t miss a beat with our large group and our food came out without much delay and everything was perfect! “called ahead, just to make sure 20 could be accommodated from a funeral. response was "ok". food stayed at window, not served. starters were over an hour to recieve and was cold. did not recieve most of the ordered items, items recieved had to be remade or refused due to a 3 hour back and forth with food. this was our first time in this establishment for many, and sadly 20 peoples last. stear clear of this bar unless you have time to wait and can get drunk enough to not notice your foods wrong, frozen or lacking doneness.“
