“We visited today and had a fabulous experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. The cafe itself was well appointed (actual silverware, not plastic), water carafes available along with lemon slices for no extra charge, clean, bright - even the soap in the bathroom smelled wonderful! But the almond croissants were amazing. Not to sound pretentious, but we've eaten almond croissants in Paris and they didn't even come close to the greatness of what we ate at Sophie's. The latte I had and the espresso my husband had was also delicious. We were in the area, traveling across the great divide from the west side of the county, and are so glad we stopped in. It would be a challenge to the waist line if we lived closer but we will certainly add regular visits to Sophie's even if it's just for coffee and an almond croissant. Also, the painting of Sophie at the front door is wonderful. Our own Sophie-dog crossed over the rainbow bridge last year so the painting was extra special to us. Run, do not walk, to this wonderful cafe.“

The smores bars instantly transport me back to my grandma's house, in front of the wood stove putting together that messy concoction, yet all you need is a napkin. I found them at UH farmers market but will definitely be ordering more.“

“We got there in the end but trying to order over the phone was a bit convoluted and misleading. I didn’t make their cutoff for custom ordered gluten free cakes but the lady I spoke to said I could come in the same day and get one, it just wouldn’t be custom. I went to the Solon store when they opened and they couldn’t do that, so I called the one in Eton where I had called originally and they couldn’t do cupcakes the same day but that was it. No real explanation, but I had them make 36 cupcakes and they had them ready in an hour and a half. They were great.“

“This was actually the second time I stopped in. The first time they had just opened and some of the things weren't quite up to par (soggy pastries like they had been frozen and thawed out). Anyways I decided to give it another try and this time was much better. I got a caramel frappe which was very good (I forgot to take a picture). I also got the cheese tart and a custard bun. They were both pretty good although nothing spectacular since they are fairly simple pastries. Overall I would say if you're in the area stop by and give it a try.“

“Absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes! Shae made a beautiful cake for my son’s first communion. She is very professional and prompt. She delivered the cake on time and made sure to give us instructions and a box to transport once the event was over. The cake was a great hit and made our special day complete. They also carry popcorn, snacks, pasta noodles, condiments, soup mixes, cookies, candy bars & candy, chips & and the list goes on. “Heard about this place from a coworker. Not easy to find - the owner runs her business out of her house. Asian bakeries/patisseries are hard to come by in the Cleveland area so naturally I was excited to try and was not disappointed. Ordered a box of pastries as well as their green tea roll cake. Croissants are the best I’ve had in Cleveland. So many flaky layers, perfect texture, just the right amount of sweetness. Green tea roll cake was also phenomenal. Had bits of red bean and the cream was light and airy. The cake itself was soft and moist. Will be coming back. Highly recommend“

It looks like they’re doing some renovations, so parts of it have that old-school charm while other areas are getting a bit of a refresh. Other spots look like they need scrubbing. The donuts were excellent—fresh, flavorful. Self-serve. You can tell this place has been around a while. Some unique candy options I have not seen before. A payphone too!? “I’m always busy, working, doing errands and i needed to find a place to eat that has a ln extensive menu. I can grab breakfast and lunch with extra to take home too! The manager and staff are friendly and very hard working. It’s centrally located and whether i’m eating in or taking out, The Cafe Honeycomb manages their business like you are their only customer, with attention to every detail. Their delicious food and great service is the reason I love to shop local!“

“I went to Baraonas Bakery to purchase a cassata cake for my mom's bday. I loved how they have nice pastries to choose from and the cake I got was delicious. However the service was mediocre, I wasn't greeted when I came in, the staff was young but not friendly or professional. The customer service needs to greatly improve there.“
