The only con is the price, for a burger and then if you want to combo it for fries and a drink is almost 20 dollars 🤯!!! “We had been given a gift card to The Rail, as there was a location near us in Akron. We decided to finally get around to use the gift card, because you know they just sit in those drawers forever, and discovered that the Akron location had closed. We didn't want to lose our money, so we made the trip to Strongsville so that we could use up our card. This location is in a strip mall near a large shopping mall. Plenty of parking, and the restaurant had lots of great seating options. The wait staff was very friendly, and attentive. We both got the smash burger special and it was delicious! Definitely recommend!“

“This was my first time at this particular location. The food was good, as expected, on the same level as other locations I've been to. The reason I take off a star is for the state of the dining room. The majority of the tables were empty, but very few were clean. This was on a Sunday mid-afternoon. I understand that the kitchen is busy between in-person and online orders, but everyone I saw come in during my time there ordered on the kiosk, so no one needed to be at the counter. The only time anyone came out was to deliver food. Either no one was assigned to the dining room, or if someone was, they weren't doing their job.“

“Might just be one of the best burgers from a fast food joint that I have ever eaten. The Pretzel Bits were almost as good as the burger. I could eat those all day long. Service was very good and the tables were clean.

“Been out of state for 5 years was looking forward to eating here again. Food is still pretty good. Nice waitress that let us move to a table when it became apparent my elderly guests wasn't going to be able to get in or out of the booth.

Parking: It's a local parking lot and not dedicated to just the restaurant. Any local event fills it up fast. Get there early.“

Previously: Had the signature burger (Romanburger), not enough salami to come through the taste of the burger. Had the kielbasa grilled cheese, got 3 and a half thin slices of kielbasa, very little cheese and bun entirely covered in jalapenos. I want to like the place. “Hi this is a steven, food guy just a steep in the food lunch, got here today I had a monster Burger without the Burger I had a double chicken instead and that was perfectly perfectly cooked absolutely fantastic that was a 9.7 the steak fries were unbelievable cook perfectly they were on 9.9 my mother had a red tavern Burger with what the red tavern sauce which is a 1000 island sauce she gives it a 9 day and and a 9.8 and a And the sweet potato fries she is at A955 9.5 also also the general manager mark It's outstanding A GM Northwest going on very knowledgeable of the business and We will definitely come back again. I am referring to mark at the North Homestead in Ohio the Red Robin and North Homestead Mark is the GM very nice understands business really well.“

“(Last visited September 20, 2023.) Hanging out in Cleveland, OH on business and it's #WingWednesday! So I did some searching on Yelp to see who's got the best in the area! A place called Characters Bar & Grill kept coming up. So here's how things went!\n\nAtmosphere/Appearance: This place is like... at the EDGE of Cleveland's city limits. Lol. Brookpark Road or something. Once I pulled up it just felt like a nice, neighborhood spot! It does have a private parking lot, big outdoor section (where we sat) and plenty of space on the inside. It's a traditional setup. TVs everywhere, random swag and decor all throughout, plenty of high-top tables for seating and a big bar rail. The energy was lively and the music was so random. Lol. If you've been, you know what I mean.\n\nService: I can't remember the name of who took care of us, but she was funny, sweet and just made sure we had everything that we needed. \n\nFood: While here I was able to try a few wings, so let's begin. First up were the Mike's Sweet Island Heat. For the record, if you order 10 wings, you can split them into 2-5s for an extra $1.00 if you want separate flavors. Also, on the menu there are 3 "types" of sauces that they offer. The first kind are Buffalo based sauces, the 2nd are barbecue based sauces and the last is "other". Lol. Anyway, these looked amazing, were super saucy and were a decent, seemingly normal size. I got lots of good fruity notes and aromatics as I put the wing to my nose. After tasting the flavors carried through with a bold, fruity, rich flavor. There was good spice and it felt like a chipotle based spice. It was a unique flavor for sure that I hadn't tasted before. Next up was Lenny's Honey Sriracha Teriyaki which is a mouthful of a name, but the flavors showed up! It was a good teriyaki base with citrusy lemon flavors that actually made my lips pucker just a bit. These weren't spicy at all, but it was missing something, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Next up was Chipotle which I was lead to believe would be the hottest sauce on the menu based on it's placement on the menu, but I was wrong. This one did have some GOOD heat to it. The ingredients were balanced very well that created very bold, rich, hearty, chipotle flavors. I really liked this one. Next up were the Mild Buffalo. These were super saucy, juicy and had a very straightforward traditional Buffalo flavor that had some excellent flavor. The bleu cheese to go with these was a creamy, mild sauce that would cool your mouth down if you can't handle the spice. Next up was the XXX Buffalo which is actually the hottest sauce on the menu. The sauce was a bit watery which is a dead giveaway that it wouldn't be as spicy as it claims to be. It was still delicious, but the spice took a while to kick in, but it's nothing to write home about. It was like a kicked up Buffalo.\n\nValue: It's a sports bar, so the food won't be terrible expensive. I was there on Wednesday and wings were $1.00 each. Not bad at all considering how expensive I've see some. They even had $5.00 steaks this night, but I can only imagine them being a Salisbury steak or something. Lol.\n\nIn conclusion, I had a blast here. The food was great, the people are awesome, I felt welcomed and it just felt like a good place to hang out! I look forward to returning and trying some more flavors!“

“Went there yesterday to get tobacco and tubes somehow every time I go go there lately the price of my hot rod tubes go from 2.19/2.49/4.31 yesterday, I’m on a fixed income !! The tobacco hasn’t changed but if the owner/manager isn’t there they charge me what ever they want“

“Local West makes a great cuban with tender pork and delicious bread. I had enough to easily split with aomeone. Also, their sweet potato fries are awesome! However, my wife's burger was overcooked to the point of being quite dry, which is a shame because it was flavorful. This place is worth coming back for a second chance, though.“
