“China Bay is amazing! Ive ordered lunch and dinner at least 100 times and have never been disappointed. A great menu items is the bone in ribs the sauce is exceptional and they are broiled for a nice smoky flavor. The General Tso meal is good and can order extra spicy if you want, the fried chicken has a nice crunch under the sauce. Also try the donuts they are so fresh and soft. They are open pretty late so its a convenient option for a late meal. Prices are decent you can get a good amount of food and have leftovers and the leftovers freeze well.“

With a gluten allergy & highly sensitive to MSG, I made sure to call first and make sure they offered true gluten free items and that they didn’t use MSG. I spoke to the woman who answered the phone for awhile. I asked her all kinds of questions about the food & explained my allergies. I believe the woman I spoke with is the owner. She was extremely kind & helpful, and extremely accommodating. She told me she is also GF & highly sensitive to MSG. “Cherry Wonderdog gives kudos to King Fong in Cleveland for its generosity and culinary performance last Friday midday. Four of us ordered takeout, and instead of the luncheon special with soup and pork fried rice, we all went with the pint of food with white rice. The portions were plentiful (half of us couldn’t finish), everything was hot, and none of the protein we ordered resembled mystery meat. Nope, everything was legitimate and quite good. Mine was Szechuan chicken while my wife enjoyed her staple dish, cashew nuts. \n\nFor $6.95, we felt there was nothing missing (except, perhaps, the choice to substitute fried rice for an extra $1). In fact, the pricing for the luncheon specials didn’t make much sense, because it seemed to be merely the sum of the pieceparts. Perhaps someone can revisit that. Until then, we’re perfectly happy ordering the pint portions.“

“Well there prices have gone WAY up but on top of that on the weekends they want to charge you an additional 18% they say there open until 9pm I was there at 810 pm the doors were locked what a bunch of lies I dove 43 miles for that but rest assured going back will be hard because I went to Boo Long up the street what a pleasant surprise they also close at 9pm but welcomed me in at 835 been going to Me Wah and king Wah for YEARS but am now rethinking it“

“This cute little restaurant in Asia Town offers malatang hot pots. The menu is a little confusing at first if you’re new to the dish, but our waiter was incredibly patient and explained everything. I ordered the seafood dry pot and it was amazing. Delicious chunks of fish/fish balls and squid with fresh bok choy, and a choice of noodles (I got the sweet potato noodles), with a slightly spicy and peanuty sauce. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options like tripe or tofu. Great service too and huge portions. Highly recommend!“

The honey chicken is both of our favorites though and is something not found on a lot of Chinese menus. This has become our regular Chinese restaurant at this point. “Mostly delivery and take out but there are a couple tables so you can eat in the restaurant. Food is of reasonably good quality and well prepared. But, not the best Chinese food available but less expensive than the restaurants in the Asian neighborhood of Cleveland.

I have been eating here for decades and have consumed hundreds of meals at this restaurant. Overall I do recommend this restaurant for a quick, good value, made to order meal.“

“The food is amazing, I would eat their bbq ribs everyday all day if I could. It is a family business I believe so you get familiar with the staff quickly, they are the sweetest people ever. I was recommended to this restaurant by my coworkers. Albeit they have only had one item before, the pineapple chicken. I figured it is a Thai location, so I should try out the Pad Thai first.

Tried to call in my order. Nobody answered. Little off putting to say the least. If this wasn't in the same plaza as where I work, I would have gone elsewhere for dinner. With it being so close I have enough time to order and take with at the restaurant.

I was expecting the service to be bad when I got there. They don't answer their phones, after all. But honestly, the guy running the place could not have been kinder. He took my order as soon as he was free and it was only 10-12 minutes before I was walking out the door with my food.

I ordered the Pad Thai and Thai rolls. Total came to a little over $20. Let me tell ya, the value is really good because there must have been 5-6 pounds of food in my bag. The dinner portions are quite large. But I'm not complaining because it will reheat as leftovers really well I'm sure.

The Thai rolls are perfect. Super crispy and crunchy on the outside, and filled with delicious stuffings on the inside. And the dipping sauce is the perfect level of sweet. Order these every time.

The Pad Thai is delish as well. From what I could tell there were three main forms of protein, eggs, chicken, and shrimp. (Four if you are technical and want to count the nuts.)

The meal was cooked brilliantly and it has a lot of flavor. I don't think this restaurant is super traditional in their recipes. But I don't think the Pad Thai in particular strays from what you would expect. I want to come back and try some of their Chinese offerings as well.

Solid first visit. The food was fresh and piping hot. It was tasty. And the portions are big enough to fill my belly and have some leftovers.
