“China Bay is amazing! Ive ordered lunch and dinner at least 100 times and have never been disappointed. A great menu items is the bone in ribs the sauce is exceptional and they are broiled for a nice smoky flavor. The General Tso meal is good and can order extra spicy if you want, the fried chicken has a nice crunch under the sauce. Also try the donuts they are so fresh and soft. They are open pretty late so its a convenient option for a late meal. Prices are decent you can get a good amount of food and have leftovers and the leftovers freeze well.“

“This is our local go to spot for Chinese. We've tried a handful of other places but China Wok is head and shoulders better than anything within a 15 min drive. The girl behind the counter is always super friendly and sweet. The food is always delicious and the portions are always overflowing. “I am not from Cleveland. This place is spectacular. There are not enough chinese food places with a full bar, and every time I find one I am so happy. I wandered in, they had a modern jukebox machine playing music (which i enjoyed, people were enjoying themselves). I could order chinese food and order a cocktail. I went on a Saturday night, and it was busy so I waited for maybe 5ish minutes before being attended to. It was loud in here but again people were using the jukebox and having a good time. Worth it. I will absolutely come back here. I was able to eat chinese food at the restaurant counter, have a strong cocktail, and watch my favorite show on my phone all at the same time. What else could I possibly ask for?“

“Well there prices have gone WAY up but on top of that on the weekends they want to charge you an additional 18% they say there open until 9pm I was there at 810 pm the doors were locked what a bunch of lies I dove 43 miles for that but rest assured going back will be hard because I went to Boo Long up the street what a pleasant surprise they also close at 9pm but welcomed me in at 835 been going to Me Wah and king Wah for YEARS but am now rethinking it“

I have the receipt proving I paid for 3 meals and the store - Brandon wouldn’t make it right. He basically said “oh well”, he trusted his employees, I get that but they are human and make mistakes. “Szechwan Garden is truly one of Lakewood’s treasures. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and there’s a reason I keep coming back: the food is consistently wonderful, the Zen options are incredibly unique and delicious, and you can tell there is real love and care behind what comes out of this kitchen. When I recently thought they might be closing, I was genuinely heartbroken. There are plenty of places to get Chinese food, but Szechwan Garden is my place — the kind of restaurant you count on, crave, and would miss terribly if it were gone. So hearing that they’re staying open made me ridiculously happy! I’m incredibly grateful to this family — and especially to Dad, who has been at it for decades — for continuing to cook for all of us a little longer. Of course, everyone deserves to retire someday, and when that day comes, I’ll be happy for him. But I’m not living in the future. Right now, I’m just grateful that Szechwan Garden is still here, still cooking, and still making my belly very, very happy. Thank you for being such a special part of Lakewood. ❤️“

“The food is amazing, I would eat their bbq ribs everyday all day if I could. It is a family business I believe so you get familiar with the staff quickly, they are the sweetest people ever. The food takes only about 15 minutes to be prepared. It’s so much better than any other Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite large. You can eat the leftovers the day after and they still taste amazing. Best place ever in my opinion, they deserve more customers, everyone there works so hard.“

“This cute little restaurant in Asia Town offers malatang hot pots. The menu is a little confusing at first if you’re new to the dish, but our waiter was incredibly patient and explained everything. I ordered the seafood dry pot and it was amazing. Delicious chunks of fish/fish balls and squid with fresh bok choy, and a choice of noodles (I got the sweet potato noodles), with a slightly spicy and peanuty sauce. I will definitely be back to try some of the other options like tripe or tofu. Great service too and huge portions. Highly recommend!“
