“Best best sushi I’ve had in Cleveland. It’s such a perfect small restaurant with a really relaxed and intimate ambience (I love that it’s underground and that you don’t get signal and get to just disconnect).
Their daily/weekly specials are so creative and fresh, and everything is so well made. You can watch the chefs put everything together in front of you if you sit at the bar which I would highly recommend.
Seared salmon belly is to die for.
Service was also great.
They don’t have many cooked rolls so if you are averse to having raw fish, options are definitely there but limited. If you want to try raw fish in sushi as a first timer, I do recommend doing it here.

“It was such a treat to find this place in Cleveland after going to the Cleveland Clinic. We visited Japan from the end of March to beginning of April and it’s hard to find very authentic places. This is the most authentic that we’ve found in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Wow! Loved it! The person behind the counter was very nice too. My mom and I both had the Shrimp tempura ramen bowl with a few minor modifications. They were absolutely delicious. Super authentic! We had all different kinds of ramen all over Japan and this is definitely on par with what we had there. Such a wonderful surprise! Love the walls being painted to look like a city in Japan! So cute! We’ll definitely be back to try the pork buns, gyoza and onigiri. If you love Japanese food, do yourself a favor and try it. You won’t be sorry.“

“OK, yes I gave them five stars they’re phenomenal. The food is great but I’m pissed off that they’re closed on Mondays. I just went there excited ready for a sushi boat and dammit they’re closed. That’s my only complaint other than that. They’re phenomenal. Thanks guys.“

“Just happened to be visiting in Parma Heights and always driven by without stopping in. So in the mood for Asian and passed up other Chinese restaurants decided to give this a try. On the phone they’re friendly and even in person. So I decided to get Hibachi steak and the flavor was very delicious. I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations of just the normal Chinese food. I was wrong and wished I visited sooner. I definitely will go back for Spicy Beef ?️ ? ? Soup. I only got one photo but will add soon. Definitely recommend.“

“Chicken and shrimp were over cooked and dry. Also they charge almost 5.00 extra to use a credit card and a 18 tip is added to the end of the bill. They don't tell you so watch out you don't double tip.“

“I ordered the medium box deal and 2 chicken teriyaki dinners, with extra chicken. I only received 2 out of three items. I have the receipt proving I paid for 3 meals and the store - Brandon wouldn’t make it right. He basically said “oh well”, he trusted his employees, I get that but they are human and make mistakes. Do better next time Brandon, do better!!“

“We’ve been to Sarku twice in the past two weeks. The food is made fresh, and the service is polite and friendly. I love the chicken teriyaki and the tempura California roll. The vegetables were a little softer than I prefer, but still tasty overall“
