“I stopped by Johnson’s Ice Cream about 8 minutes before closing, and normally I avoid going into places that late. I really wanted to grab ice cream for myself, my nephew, and my brother, so I decided to go in anyway. Madi F, Charlotte, and Darren were in the middle of closing up, so I asked if it would be a problem if I ordered. Without hesitation, all three of them said no.

I ordered three small scoops, and they were incredibly kind the entire time. They even told me I was the easiest customer they’d had walk in during the last 10 minutes before closing, which I thought was so sweet. Charlotte reassured me by saying, “We’re still open, so no worries,” even though I kept apologizing more than I needed to. They stayed calm, friendly, and welcoming throughout the whole interaction.

Honestly, my first visit to this location wasn’t great, and I had decided I wouldn’t come back. The only reason I stopped in was because it was the only place open with cinnamon ice cream. But after this experience, I will absolutely be returning.

Darren (who I understand is a lead), Charlotte, and Madi F completely changed my impression of this location. If someone higher up sees this, please recognize them they made a lasting impact. I was planning to go to the Pickerington location instead, but because of this team, I’ll be coming back here.

“I've been to a lot of DQs over my life, and this one by far is consistently the quickest. Every time I've gone here the workers are friendly, and they clearly have a system that works for them. I will say I have yet to get any regular food here, I have only gotten ice cream related items.“

I placed my order and received my order maybe 2 minutes - so very quick! The only downside is I felt like the store was dirty - it was more the front area that felt dirtier. The floors were pretty gross - could have been from just the day but highly doubtful all that mess was made in a day. The back looked pretty messy as well but the worker appeared to be the only one there - so that very much could have played a factor if she’s trying to do everything herself.“

“EXCELLENT quality ice cream at this modern, clean, and brand-new location in village Pickerington! About 30 flavors to choose from that cycle in and out regularly, with seasonal offerings. Nice rooftop patio and outdoor seating to watch the traffic and shenanigans of Pickerington residents. A perfect place to put an ice cream shop, too, only wish there was more parking available in the small lot (about 6 spaces).“

“I visit my family in Columbus Ohio and live in Boston. And every time I arrive, I cannot come without eating several mangonadas. I want to tell you that if you want to try something good, visit this place. Everything is delicious, but especially the famous mangonada. It's my favorite, I love that mango flavor and I haven't been able to find a flavor like it. And in fact I had the opportunity to meet the very kind owner of the place. I told her how much I liked mangonadas and I asked her to sell me some plastic containers so I could bring fried mangonadas to Boston. And it arrived in excellent condition. “Staff and I brought our large group of participants with special needs to this location this afternoon. We had the kindest staff and great food. Even after we were there for a while, we were again greeted by the General Manager, training manager and other employees with a great big “hey guys!” They asked me for my card to send us deals and offers for future trips with our group as well as free treat coupons for everyone. They were so accommodating and sweet! Probably one of the greatest experiences in my almost 10 years going on outings with our group. We will most definitely be back! Kudos to all!“
