“Best ice cream I’ve had in quite some time! Lots of flavors, and when you get a large they keep scooping until you tell them to stop. The service here is great and the line moves quickly. While the older kids got far too much with a large, the medium, or small even is a great option.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the ice cream options and easy outdoor no-mess tables.“

“This used to be my favorite place to go for ice cream. Now that it's changed hands the hours are much shorter which makes it difficult in the evening to get there before they close. Also they're flurries don't have near as many toppings mixed in is they used to under the previous owner. I'll still go because it's my favorite ice cream but if they continue to decline it won't be worth the drive anymore since I come from a half an hour away. The staff are nice enough but it always takes a long time to get your ice cream.“
“I’ve always wanted to see what the Purple Parrot Ice Cream Bar was about especially driving by on our way home from East Harbor State Park. We arrived around 8pm and there was a long line! Which usually means you’re in for a treat. We ordered 3 small sundaes. Dirt, Almond Joy, and Hot Fudge. All were delicious and the family had a great time eating them. Also, my sundae did come with a cherry but my 4 year old grabbed it off quicker than I could snap the photo ☺️thank you Purple Parrot!“
“Don't miss Toft’s on 250 if you're an ice cream lover! Their ice cream cake is a masterpiece – a perfect blend of creamy ice cream and fudge with Oreos. The flavors are outstanding, and the cozy ambiance adds to the enjoyment. A must-visit for dessert enthusiasts!“

“Awesome service. Just a small town ice cream stand. Had nice tables with umbrellas. Menu had old Time favorites, like barbecued beef, pulled chicken sandwiches, hotdogshotdogs, and hamburgers, fried sides and we can't forget the soft serve ice cream. Took me back to when I was a kid.“

“Our family found while staying in Sandusky a few weeks ago. Food was PHENOMENAL and the staff were so friendly and kind. I look forward getting to try them again when we come again in the summer!Parking: They have a lot plenty of spaces and a smooth path for pick ups :)“
“My family and I decided to stop in here right after they opened on a Sunday and we're not disappointed. When you walk in.. it's not much to look at but you can clearly see their specials and menu. After some looking you go up and ask for a sample of something that sounds good only to be told they don't do samples. I found that super odd and off putting but none the less we decided to order some ice cream. I got the 1 scoop which is HUGE. I decided to split my 1 scoop between chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter cookie. It was fantastic! Creamy and full of flavor. My uncle got the butter pecan and muddies sea salt. We said it was one of the best ice creams he's ever had. This hole in the wall ice cream parlor is worth checking out for sure!!“
“Me, wife, 3 kids and our goldendoodle love this place! One of our favorite ice cream places around. Lots of options for ice cream and hot foods even, the hot foods are not just slapped together like most places, the food is well made here. Great friendly staff as well“

“As always, Netty's is awesome! I always order two chilli dogs and a root beer float. Their chilli dogs are Smackin! They have a wide variety of other food items such as ice cream, and popcorn but I love their chilli dogs! I made a pit stop at the one coming from Marble Head Ohio and you had to walk up to order and eat outside. Parking is in the from of the restaurant and theirs a line sometimes if you want to place an order.“

“I tried this place by chance on a trip as I live a few counties over. I got two flurries for my toddler and me and it was roughly $11. I thought that was a bit steep, but listen… there HUGE! And they were delicious. I got a strawberry cheesecake and loved it. The workers were nice and considering how busy the drive through was (seems to be super popular), they prepped our order really fast. They do accept card. They have seating on a covered patio. I didn’t see any hard scoop options but I may have just not noticed it. Only two complaints are that it’s close to the road, which if you have a small one isn’t ideal… also the patio needed cleaned better. Because of the debris there were so many bees that we had to go eat in the car. These are typical issues for ice cream stands though, minor problems. Definitely can see why this location seems so popular.“

“Service was terrific. New pot of coffee brewed for us at 5 pm. Onion rings are made with real onions. Burgers were excellent - tasted the meat and not just salt. And broccoli was perfectly steamed.. plus it's a healthy offer, thank you! Great value for 2 adults. Under $18. Further, no clamshell Styrofoam - paper box and sandwich wrap.“

“This is a little out of the way; however, if you are camping at Camp Sandusky this is a hidden gem. We have only went for ice cream and have never been disappointed. The ice cream is creamy and delicious, especially when you mix your favorite toppings in. There isn't much seating as this is more of a drive through experience. The service is hit or miss, sometimes overly friendly and other times you are just a number to be served. We don't let this get to us as the ice cream out weighs the ambiance and service.“
