“This is a great ice cream shop. I went here and was immensely satisfied with my experience. I walked up to the ice cream stand where I ordered cookies and cream ice cream in a cup. I got my ice cream and sat down on a bench, where I ate my ice cream. It tasted very good, which was nice. After I finished my ice cream, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this ice cream place five stars because it has tasty ice cream.“

“Picked up dinner tonight for the family and boy, did it not disappoint!! Everything was delicious! The pizza and cheese bread was demolished so fast as I expected lol The salad was exactly what I wanted for a post-Christmas crunch, and the wings my husband nearly inhaled so I can’t review those personally lol but I will next time! Thanks for a delicious dinner and great conversation! We’ll be back soon!!“

“Amazing at everything they do !!!!!“
“On our first visit to Lakeside we were so impressed with the customer service at the Whistle Stop Ice Cream. The place is teeny tiny, probably only fits 8-10 customers at one time, but the service is quick and very friendly. The women working the shop recognized my 9 year old son's non verbal autism and immediately engaged with him in an informed and appropriate way. They pointed to the ice cream containers to make sure they were scooping the one he was choosing and they watched his body language cues to understand that he wanted to add sprinkles to the top of his treat. As a special needs family, that kindness and understanding is so appreciated. Other information to add- They were serving Toft's ice cream when we were there, they also have Dole Whips, popcorn and Slushies. Since the place is so tiny there are no bathrooms, no inside seating, there was a bench outside. Prices were fair market value for a small shop. Cash and Check only.“
