“Took a chance on this place because I was craving lo mein and it’s close to my apartment. The food is phenomenal and not super expensive. Their spring rolls are probably the best I’ve ever eaten! The shrimp in their shrimp lo mein is super flavorful, and the veggies are super crunchy. I can’t recommend Chuan Jiang Hao Zi enough!

“I've been coming here for years and it's remained one of my favorite restaurants. The crab rangoons are the best I've ever had. The cashew chicken is also amazing. The staff is always super friendly and nice, service is always quick and efficient, food is great, atmosphere and decor is lovely. I can't recommend this place enough. It's super casual but also feels upscale while being affordable.“

“The chef, I think he is the owner said that Chow Fun is his best. I also recommend that menu if you want to try some non-Americanized Chinese food. There's some extra chilly oil on the shelves, put them in your plate and you might feel different. The picture I attached is Malatang.“

“I have been coming here over the years so today it was nice to bring my kids somewhere that I have been coming to, every so often, since I was in my teens. I have no complaints.
And actually, my son dropped some sesame chicken on himself and on the ground and the lady immediately came over and helped clean him up and his clothes. I was focused on cleaning the floor and table but she didn’t even notice those, only the mess on my son. She showed much compassion in this moment in my eyes.
Great customer service. The food is still the same quality it has been. My son said he wants to come here more often. And we can’t get my baby to leave right now, still eating his fried rice!“

“My husband and I were in the area and had the good fortune to stumble in between lunch and dinner. We got steamed dumplings to share. He had dan dan noodles while I had soup called A Bite of China featuring lily, kelp buds, ground pork, and hand-pulled noodles. The portions were so big and filling, and the noodles had great mouth feel in each dish. We got some shrimp chips and gourmet tea (kumquat grapefruit green) for the evening - such a great pairing that I want to try more!

Vegetarian options: The servers are glad to tell you about the menu, and can take items out of dishes to make them vegetarian. The kitchen itself is not vegetarian, though.“

The drinks are always on point – especially the lemon drops and mango cocktails, they’re our favorites! The atmosphere is welcoming and makes it the perfect spot for a family get-together. “Hands down the best Chinese food in the Columbus area. You can order anything from here and you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the spicy wings with green onions. I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. But overall, highly recommended.“

“Their food is delicious!!! There are so many vegetables in their food. It is much less oily than other places. Because I don't order ahead, I wait at a table. I watch people come, get their order, and go for the entire time I wait. My favorite is chicken with vegetables ordered a spicy. The veggies included broccoli, snowpeas,carrots, baby corn, bamboo shoots, and fresh mushrooms. The broccoli was very crunchy, not overcooked.

This time, the takeout was in a styrofoam container that leaked in the bag, causing precious sauce to be lost. Previous orders were served in plastic containers with tight lids that didn't leak. I'm hoping this was an anomaly, not the new normal.

“I am very picky when I decide to eat Chinese food. I haven't had a very good time here in Columbus. I have a couple of trusted places, but today I welcome you all to my list of favorites. Delicious... We ordered the house rice with lo mein with meat, egg rolls, and orange chicken, and everything came out delicious. It was enough for 4 people. I recommend it.“

Bourbon, tso, sesame, Rangoon, triple delight. All but an occasional fatty batch of boneless spare ribs. So stay away to keep my wait shorter. “I absolutely love this hidden gem on the Westside! Their prices are great and the portions are enough for two meals. My go to is the Boneless Pork Rib dinner with the Shrimp Fried Rice. I love the convenience of being able to order and pay online and pickup on my way home. I work in Westerville and live down the road from Wok Wok, so it’s ready and piping hot when I get there. Have yet to have a bad meal or service, I come here 2-3 times a month. Definitely worth a visit!“

“We went to the Ace of Cups to watch a performance by Galactic Empire yesterday and we're hungry so we went across the street to Northeast Chinese restaurant. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

“Just walking in and I knew it was gonna be good. They don't waste money on decor. The staff were friendly and the food seemed authentic. Definitely different than most American knock offs.

We got 3 dishes:

The stir fry ramen was good. Perfect lunch fair and great for little mouths.

The squid had great flavor and was pleasantly spicy.

The tofu was very spicy but was missing something. Not sure what but seemed lacking.

I appreciated my ice water but the husband got the walovi. It was pleasant and herbal.

All of these dishes are easily shareable so a great place for a lunch date.“

Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

“I visited Lucky Dragon recently and honestly, it was one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a while. I completely forgot to take a photo of the food — that’s how good it was! The fried rice was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. You can really tell they care about quality.

The restaurant itself is very spacious, clean, and welcoming. The atmosphere makes it a great place to dine in, whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with friends or family. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive — they made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.
