“We have been enjoying this restaurant for a couple of years, dining in and introducing friends to the delicious food. Yesterday was the first time we got delivery. We were hosting a Chinese New Year Feast. We ordered our favorites: wontons in chili sauce, wok fired green beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, shrimp fried rice, and sesame chicken. The dishes were all excellent and delicious with generous portions. Our friends ate very well and complimented everything. The delivery was perfect, the restaurant had packed it all really well and it arrived on time. We are so glad we ordered from ChuanZiang HaoZi!!!“

“I have never felt compelled to leave a review until this place. Ordered the pan seared potstickers and the Dan Dan Hand Stretched Noodles. I am fortunate enough to travel around the world for my work and I can genuinely say this is the most complex and flavorful noodle dish I have ever eaten regardless of restaurant or country. The sesame paste they use in the base gives the most rich umami flavor to go with the wonderfully seasoned beef. The hand stretched noodles have truly perfect tooth to them as well giving a very hearty feel to the dish! I could not recommend this place enough! Truly the first 10/10 I have had in Columbus, Ohio.“

“This American Chinese restaurant mainly served American Chinese cuisine. My server recommended the beef fried noodles which tasted authentic. The dining room was clean with a decent bar. There were some cheap alcohol selections during happy hour. WiFi was fast. Glad to see that many American people liked dining at this place.“

“I grew up off this Chinese Food location. Watched the kids grow up and all lol. The food is absolutely delicious. It's a simple come and go order place. Anything you order will usually be done in 10 minutes, the egg rolls are great, and different menu items have never disappointed.“

“Y’all ALWAYS get my order perfect, never have to check the bag. Great food that’s insanely inexpensive and they pack the bowls to the top. Get like 10 servings out of 3 meals! Everything I tried from here is good too. One of my favorites is the chicken chow mei fun. Highly recommend.

11-3 everyday but Sunday you can get an entree, rice, egg roll and drink for like $10 i am pregnant and couldn’t decide what I wanted so I got 4 different meals for $40 lol what a steal! I’ve been craving broccoli and their broccoli with garlic sauce is phenomenal!“

“Best War Su Gai sauce and equally good chicken . Was a customer decades ago before change in ownership and still my favorite place ever. Egg rolls have nice spice to them and never had a greasy one!! Kudos to chef!!“

“This summer I spent a month in Taiwan and have been missing the food terribly. Lan Zhou reminded me so much of the small little noodle shops with incredible food I grew to love while abroad. Their beef noodle soup was lovely- the greens on top were perfect and the beef was tender. I prefer a slightly more springy noodle, and these were very soft and tender- not my favorite, but I can't complain.
I'm very excited to return.“

“Hands down the best Chinese food in the Columbus area. You can order anything from here and you won’t be disappointed. My personal favorite is the spicy wings with green onions. I give them 4/5 stars. I would give 5, but they are a little stingy with sauces and when you ask for more they just give you one more and you don’t want to keep asking for more, so you leave with less sauce than you want lol. But overall, highly recommended.“

“The chef, I think he is the owner said that Chow Fun is his best. I also recommend that menu if you want to try some non-Americanized Chinese food. There's some extra chilly oil on the shelves, put them in your plate and you might feel different. The picture I attached is Malatang.“

“I ordered Carry Out. I got the Szechuan Triple Delight which was delicious. The chicken, shrimp and beef were cooked to perfection as were the vegetables. I do not care for a lot of sauce so next time I will ask for light sauce but it was spiced just right and there was very little oil, which I appreciated! The hot and sour soup was spicy but just perfect for me! Felt so good going down with this persistent cold I’ve had. My only recommendation would be that the restaurant make their atmosphere more inviting. The stark, white lighting is awful. I would love to eat there but it’s just so bright!!“

“Was in Columbus for a concert and I walked a few blocks here for dinner. I didn’t see sweet and sour shrimp on the menu (only chicken & pork) and asked if they served it. They whipped me up an off-menu speciality on the spot. And it was terrific! Huge shrimp in a delicious sauce, big chunks of green pepper, etc. Their egg rolls were also nice and crunchy which I love and that seems to be harder to find anymore at places I try. The woman working was watching soap operas or something at full volume but I had earbuds in and was too distracted by the tasty meal to mind. This little hidden spot for most folks turned out to be some of the best Chinese food that I have eaten in my life and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world. The portions are huge, the price is good and the staff very friendly. I recommended anybody traveling through Columbus that might want some good Chinese food, to look this place up and go there and eat.“

We were surprised that the place had been closed for quite some time as it was our go-to place for Chinese takeout. It has been a staple for Marcus theatre area for many many years. It finally reopened under new ownership, but no sign.

The owner was there to greet us and show us the menu. Very nice guy and felt welcomed. We ordered the orange chicken, bokchoy dish, and chicken egg roll. Food was hot and the bokchoy was our favorite dish. Orange chicken wasn't the best but wasn't bad either (would get again). My only gripe is that the prices are similar to a sit-down full-service restaurant and not your typical take-out Chinese food prices. While I would love to come here again the price is way too high for us as we like to go get a quick meal before a movie, etc. I get it the prices need to be adjusted to match inflation/food costs but the price point before new ownership was so good.

All in all, I do want to try the other dishes as the food was good but it won't be on a regular basis as the prices are not competitive with traditional TOGO Chinese places.

Pepper steak was very tasty rice was cooked perfect green peppers were cooked perfectly as were the onions and every part of the pepper steak was proportioned evenly, some places will throw an abnormal amount of onions in the mix to try and save a buck.

“I absolutely love this hidden gem on the Westside! Their prices are great and the portions are enough for two meals. My go to is the Boneless Pork Rib dinner with the Shrimp Fried Rice. I love the convenience of being able to order and pay online and pickup on my way home. I work in Westerville and live down the road from Wok Wok, so it’s ready and piping hot when I get there. Have yet to have a bad meal or service, I come here 2-3 times a month. Definitely worth a visit!“
