“I was visiting my friends in Painesville and they insisted on my last day that we have breakfast at a place they called “FATS.” We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. Roy was our server, and he told us that he was retiring that day and we were his first table. Roy is a national treasure, for sure!! Breakfast was phenomenal. I tried my bestie’s biscuits and chorizo gravy, which was spicy and had amazing flavor! I ate as much as I could of the generous portion of my tasty meal and the hospitality was exceptional. “Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “Food is good, however in the past they along with other restaurants showed appreciation for Veterans by offering a complimentary meal to the Veteran(s) on Veterans Day. They don't do that anymore. Now its a complimentary ice cream desert and a gift card for an appetizer for your next visit. Don't come here Veterans... dont come here on Veterans Day. Go to Outback or Applebee's where you can actually feel appreciated the one day out of the year.“

“Pretty nice little Italian restaurant. Got the chicken parmigiana dinner to go with a canoli and it didn't disappoint. Came with a side salad and Italian dressing which was nice. The sauce is good spaghetti was good chicken and cheese was great. Lots of flavor and fresh. Decent portions. Canoli was tasty as well. I would recommend trying this place out it ain't too bad. Nice little outside area to eat as well. Glad I finally stopped by to try it out. I wasn't disappoint and I'll be back. 🙂“

“Went to Austin’s last night around 7:30pm for the first time! Had Sophie as our server. Not only was she the sweetest server ever, but she recommended some delicious sounding meals and cocktails! Her service was SUPERB! She got to our table quickly and had our drinks to us in no time at all!

The food!! WOW! My whole party was happy with their meals. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, with a baked potato that was MASSIVE, the ribs were PHENOMENAL (glad to have leftovers!), garlic basil broccoli was soo good!

From what my other party members said, their fish tacos were delightful, and the pork chops were utterly DIVINE! Their words, not mine!

The cornbread was really good! And reasonably priced too!

And then the bathrooms!!! They were absolutely SPOTLESS, just like the rest of the restaurant was when I was there!

Speaking of the bathrooms…Which I do have to say, they are tastefully decorated, but I do have to commend you for not using cheap toilet paper like most restaurants do!

Our whole bill came to like $88.00 and for food and service that good, I’d gladly pay it!

“A small quiet place with some of the best food you’ll ever have. I absolutely love their hamburgers and fries which are freshly cooked not frozen! The lady with the long dark hair that works there is incredible and always makes you feel special. Also their drink and food prices are very reasonable making this bar/restaurant one of the most affordable in town.“

“My parents took me out for my 57th birthday to celebrate. When we arrived we were seated immediately which was really nice. We had an amazing waitress by the name of Jenna. Service was impeccable our meal was brought out in a timely manner and the food was very delicious.Everything we needed she never had any problem with going to get and I am really grateful and thankful again for the experience that she gave to us being there. “1st time there. Read a lot of good reviews about Sammy’s. Had spaghetti and meatballs. Yes, spaghetti and smeatballs on a Friday! Came with soup and salad and garlic toast which was very good also. Very very busy. Waitresses were husselling at a fast pace but all were very nice and kind and kept a smile on their faces!!! Also took a piece of key lime pie home for later. ? mmmmm soooo good! It’s a smaller mom and pop place, well worth the visit! I definitely will be going back there. ??“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

Great coffee and they quickly corrected things on the rare occasions something wasn’t right. Most places are good when things are smooth but a great place shows in how they handle things when there is a problem. They are great!“
