“I got the Tony and it was excellent. The menu is limited, might want to expand sandwich choices even just using different combinations of the same meats / cheeses and toppings. Sides and salads are limited, again might want to look at expanding. The grocery concept, I get it biggest complaint of downtown residents is lack of a grocery store. There selection is limited and didnt look like they covered the basics. I would either get in or out of thar business and maybe focus on being a sandwich shop.”

“We had dinner I had the pulled pork sandwich, my nice had the brisket sandwich. Our sides where Cole slaw, potato salad and green beans. Everything was amazing good. The employees where friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Dayton area.”

“45+ min wait for 3 plates. 4th plate was ordered after the first 3 were placed and came out first which indicates the 4th order was submitted by itself rather than combined with the first 3. Kitchen was not at capacity or extremely busy. Assistant Manager falsely claimed to be the Manager and was unwilling to offer any compensation for the wait. A.M stated 45min is standard wait and insinuated I was trying to get a discount on bar tab because I waited until the bill came out. A.M falsely claimed I was the only table that had complained about the wait. Waitress clearly indicated a table near me also complained and received a free appetizer as I was requesting to speak to the manager. The unwillingness to make minor compensations or take accountability is the reason another dollar will never be spent again at T.P. Waitress was tipped fairly at 20%.”

“We had a wonderful dinner with our adult children! Appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all excellent. The staff were friendly and the restaurant clean. They graciously suggested menu items and described them to a bunch of Cajuns. The rice pudding was so good! Thank you, Cafe Terra staff, for the delightful meal and for making us feel like valued friends.”

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

“Steak Thyme is a hidden gem! I've known the family who owns this place for years and I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner. While they're famous for their cheesesteaks, they offer so much more. It's a fantastic sports bar with incredible food and service. We had a Bavarian pretzel that was the size of my head with two amazing dipping sauces, and we also tried fried banana peppers for the first time. They were incredible! Our server, Taner, was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. She made great recommendations, including the addictive banana peppers we funneled! I even had a chance to chat with one of the owners, Jake. Turns out I know his older sister! (Another incredible human being) It's a family-owned business with a great atmosphere and even better food. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.”

“Finally got to try out the Grist and we weren’t disappointed. To be honest, the food was just good, maybe not great, but the servers and the aesthetic of the restaurant were really great. We were surprised to still have a 10 mins wait for a table at 1pm on a Thursday but good for them! We’ll be back.”

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!”

“5 Stars is not enough. Hubby and I stopped in for our first visit and he grew up Italian ~ homemade everything. Sub was filled with meats, mozzarella sticks were perfect and the pizza was awesome. The dough is fabulous, so much taste. Husband felt like he was back home. Cannoli was so tasty. We will definitely be back. Great food, priced fairly and the owners service exceeded our expectations! “Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!”

“I don’t review on here unless something is great or terrible, and Lily’s is firmly in the first category. I’ve visited since they opened and felt it was a great brunch spot, but the menu was a bit static for date night dinner. I’m happy to say, they’ve knocked it out of the park with their new menu and Tiki Bar theme.
Cocktails were well-crafted and deserving of the price point, food was excellent and the portions were incredible! Best of all was the service. I’ve always enjoyed the waitstaff at Lily’s, but the team they have now truly love their jobs and their customers, and it shows! They collectively serve the customers as a team and work very cohesively. The result was prompt service and getting to interact with multiple wonderful humans. 10/10 will be back again soon!”

We had a couple hiccups with our party (not any fault of DP - it was us) and the staff was wonderful and took care of what we needed without question or hesitation. “We had lunch on Saturday and as usual all of our meals were delicious! Our server Karugu was fantastic!! Friendly, efficient, quick to refill our drinks with a great smile! We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. Then the 4 of us had deluxe pizza, a tuna melt, chicken quesadilla and the Italian sub. Everything was great. The pizza crust was crispy and light. Perfect!”

Old review: Unfortunately, the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever dealt with. I was doing an Uber eats delivery and asked for a cup of water which you can always get from all other fast food restaurants for free (Even other McDonald’s) but the employee refused saying the lobby is closed. Are you serious? Am I going to sit and drink it while doing a delivery? I asked him again and he just refused. Go to Taco bell, Burger King, any other major restaurant (even other McDonald’s branches) and you can get water for free. I would NEVER come here as a customer.”

“Makayla and the other taker with the blue braids was handling the Drive thru great. Last night about 11:50 almost 12 midnight. Harshman is always doing something around that time and your store was a line around the building. It would be nice if harshman said something to there customer's. I was one of your Manager's at the S. Dixie location back at the end of 2016. Medical reasons made me have to stop working. I just wanted to say that these two ladies was doing a fantastic job for you restaurant. The Manager is a white gentleman with blonde hair. Doing everything he can while they was getting there butt whooped with 3 employees plus him. I did not ask the black lady with the blue braids her name but I did get Makayla's. Not sure if I'm spelling it like she does but, I spelled it like it sounds. My name is Rebecca Kendrick perfect job team.”

Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.”

“came here on a hunch for lunch. everyone wanted pizza and I saw the reviews for this place. we waited about 10minutes from seating ourselves for service and there was one other table in the restaurant (this was about 2pm so kinda expected). then we were told we would have to wait 30minutes for the dough to be ready. you'd think that would not equate to a good experience. areas to improve on? sure. but didn't break the deal the service was attentive and kind when she arrived. the owner came out and said hello and told us about the place. they recommended apps and to take a tour outside and welcome ourselves to the games. my family passed the time with some free connect four, giant jenga, and some waffle ball. next thing you know the apps arrived. then back to the games for a little til the pizza came. the food: PHENOMENAL. The meatballs were so tender and well seasoned with a great meat blend. the pizza was delicious. great dough, fresh ingredients, and the sauce was wonderful. the drinks: Yellow Springs brewery beer was available and delicious. my daughter had the lemonade which she was over the moon about. all this to say this will be back for certain as our regular pizza joint. if you do come across a wait, be patient. it would normally irritate me but with so much to pass the time it was nothing. the food was worth the wait. I recommend coming during off hours like we did. then you can have the patio to yourself ;)”

We had a Bavarian pretzel that was the size of my head with two amazing dipping sauces, and we also tried fried banana peppers for the first time. They were incredible! Our server, Taner, was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. She made great recommendations, including the addictive banana peppers we funneled! I even had a chance to chat with one of the owners, Jake. Turns out I know his older sister! (Another incredible human being) It's a family-owned business with a great atmosphere and even better food. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.”

“We had lunch on Saturday and as usual all of our meals were delicious! Our server Karugu was fantastic!! Friendly, efficient, quick to refill our drinks with a great smile! We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. Then the 4 of us had deluxe pizza, a tuna melt, chicken quesadilla and the Italian sub. Everything was great. The pizza crust was crispy and light. Perfect!”

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!”

“I got the Tony and it was excellent. The menu is limited, might want to expand sandwich choices even just using different combinations of the same meats / cheeses and toppings. Sides and salads are limited, again might want to look at expanding. The grocery concept, I get it biggest complaint of downtown residents is lack of a grocery store. There selection is limited and didnt look like they covered the basics. I would either get in or out of thar business and maybe focus on being a sandwich shop.”

“Didn’t feel like cooking tonight, so I ordered their ham and cheese sub, with a side of Jojos. Delivery was quick and the food arrived still steaming hot 😍 I hadn’t ever had anything from Gioninos, other than their pizza, before tonight. The sub was delicious - full of fresh ingredients - and those Jojos were ADDICTING. So happy to have a local pizzeria that offers lots of options, good quality food, AND delivers in our neighborhood!”
