“We ordered takeaway for Thanksgiving, and everything was cooked to perfection—the lasagne, brie, and olive cake were outstanding. The flavors were exquisite, and the staff was friendly and very service-oriented. Parking downtown Dayton was easy, and we’ll definitely be back.”

“I got the Tony and it was excellent. The menu is limited, might want to expand sandwich choices even just using different combinations of the same meats / cheeses and toppings. Sides and salads are limited, again might want to look at expanding. The grocery concept, I get it biggest complaint of downtown residents is lack of a grocery store. There selection is limited and didnt look like they covered the basics. I would either get in or out of thar business and maybe focus on being a sandwich shop.”

“45+ min wait for 3 plates. 4th plate was ordered after the first 3 were placed and came out first which indicates the 4th order was submitted by itself rather than combined with the first 3. Kitchen was not at capacity or extremely busy. Assistant Manager falsely claimed to be the Manager and was unwilling to offer any compensation for the wait. A.M stated 45min is standard wait and insinuated I was trying to get a discount on bar tab because I waited until the bill came out. A.M falsely claimed I was the only table that had complained about the wait. Waitress clearly indicated a table near me also complained and received a free appetizer as I was requesting to speak to the manager. The unwillingness to make minor compensations or take accountability is the reason another dollar will never be spent again at T.P. Waitress was tipped fairly at 20%.”

“Our favorite restaurant in downtown Dayton. Like the atmosphere, the people, and the food! Guacamole was delicious as usual. Enchiladas verdes were out of this world good. Meghan was wonderful as a server. And finally, thank you for our favorite seats at the chef’s counter. Love watching everyone cook! We will be back after the new year. 😊”

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!”

Since then, I have been struggling with finding dishes I truly love, especially when eating out. Well, we went to Meadowlark for the first time tonight and they blew it out of the water! “We had our first visit to El Meson and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated and you can truly feel the culture and care that went into creating such a warm atmosphere. The moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our waitress, Stasha (I apologize if I spelled her name wrong), was absolutely wonderful. She clearly knows her job very well. From the moment she came to our table, she made an instant connection with us and was incredibly kind and attentive. She even took time to talk with the kids, brought them toys, and surprised our son with birthday ice cream, which was such a thoughtful touch. She also knew a lot about the menu and the events they host on certain days and made several recommendations — and she was absolutely right about all of them. The food was incredible: flavorful, authentic, and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was spot on. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great service, amazing food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend checking them out.”

We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. Then the 4 of us had deluxe pizza, a tuna melt, chicken quesadilla and the Italian sub. Everything was great. The pizza crust was crispy and light. Perfect!”

“My wife ordered me a cake for my birthday. I love carrot cake, but it’s hard to find a good one. Not something that seems to be too common any longer… Long story short, this was one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever had. Very moist, good texture from the nuts and a little soft pop from the carrots. Simply Amazing!! ! We also tried their Chocolate Chip and Snickerdoodle Cookies and their Banana Nut Muffins. I’ve never been much of a fan of snickerdoodle cookies(wife loves them), but these were very good. Soft and chewy and just a good cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing, slight hint of salt just to enhance the flavor of the chocolate. The muffin was moist and had a great banana nut flavor. Pretty much everything we received was extremely well baked and delicious!!!”

I was now even potentially in shock. And well it was the most welcoming experience and the people straight up loving people. It made me feel a little better after all of it. Was the best Mcdonalds ive ever had so far. The reviews arent that good but Ill never forget the warm welcome. This is the only mcdonalds that made me smile. It was mostly my ignorance and being under travelled also unaware of people culture and identity that made my heart beat being 6 hours from home. Heart warming walking into this place id do it again! Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.”

Bock excels at creating a space where we gather as family, friends, soccer teams, etc with their large open room, but also there's a game room my kids love, foosball, and shuffle board. And that's not even getting to the food and drinks. My favorite snacks include the German nachos, reuben dip, and pretzels. The drinks are always on point- fresh and delicious. we always love the lemon blueberry with with a slice of lemon and the Negligent IPA. They are staffed by some of the greatest people. A family favorite for sure.”

We live super far away but I knew that once the opportunity presented itself, it was a must-see stop. I was amazed by the presentation of the ice cream that I got and the monster shake that my husband got. They looked absolutely amazing! Almost like a movie prop! The flavor was absolutely amazing, and I enjoyed every last bite! 10/10 would recommend if you’re in the Dayton area! Bring the kiddos too! Our toddler loved it!”

“I have been to this KPOT location several times. Every time I have had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food. Tonight we had an absolutely amazing server. AJ was very kind and provided exceptional service, which was so very appreciated after our 8 hour drive back home from visiting family. Honestly I don't know how KPOT keeps managing to go above and beyond our expectations each time we visit, but we are consistently leaving very pleased. Great job to the KPOT staff for being amazing at what they do 💜”

“We went to Three Birds tonight and had one of the best meals I’ve had in a minute. The meatloaf and salmon were amazing. I’m pretty mad because their chicken wings ruined the level of good I’m accustomed to. Their dry rub chicken wing is the best I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been there. Do yourself a favor and go there tomorrow. Don’t order the chicken wings because I don’t want them to run out.”

“What can I say but you have to try this place. We ordered calamari and it was out like three minutes later!!! I had the Lady Finger Set. It takes a lot to fill me and this did just that. Rolls were nice and tight, fish was fresh and vegetables were right on! Not sure which sashimi it was but I dipped it in the calamari sauce and it was out of this world!!!! Ask for that sauce and try it. Black panther was other order and I received a thumbs up. It was also gone before I could get a photo, I guess she liked it.. seriously give this place a try. We will be back to see what the cooked menu is like. Very nice and friendly place.”

“This is such a fun coffee shop in Dayton! I had the Gimme Smore latte, and it nailed the flavor (and even had a toasted marshmallow on top). The staff were super friendly, and it’s clear how much care they put into their drinks. The avocado toast was also phenomenal - the avocado is whipped with ricotta which creates an extremely smooth texture. This place is a great place to meet friends and just hang out for a bit - lots of different seating options and it’s not overly loud. Can’t wait to go back!”

Small place but great food. The pumpkin cake is like mochi on the inside and very soft and spongy. It’s not very crunchy and had the right about of crisp to it.

The mala soup was the size of my face and wasn’t too spicy. The beef was tender and not overcooked - it was cooked just right. Noodles tasted fresh.”

It was THEE BEST doughnut I've ever had in my 42 years of life. Also the most beautiful doughnut/pastry I've ever seen. I'm hooked! 🌹🤤”
