“It felt like we had literally warped to the Bahamas! It does not feel like a restaurant in Northern Ohio! Absolutely shocked is putting it lightly. The location is on the Grand River in Northern Ohio, in a kind of older location. You could tell it was 9nce something, but is not in the right hands. It looks sketchy....but it is a super safe location. Parking is ample...and free. I got the All you can eat Crab Legs and Fried Perch. They Absolutely cooked those crab legs perfectly! The butter they give you is not seasoned...so I asked for garlic and salt on the side. The fish was also amazing. We had the calamari and fried Pickles for appetizers.
Our server was Mitch and we can not say enough about the level of service he provided! He went above and beyond what we expected. He was so knowledgeable and recommended so many things to us. The vibe was literally the same as being in the Bahamas. I mean...they hit the nail on the head! BRAVO!! THANK YOU FOR THE LEVEL OF FOOD, SERVICE, AND AMBIENCE!!“

“First time here, and my son and I had an excellent breakfast. The food was great, and the service was great. Definitely will be going back to try more. The menu was loaded w great looking options. I had the chorizo sausage gravy and biscuits w over easy eggs and homefries (how I never thought to make sausage gravy w chorizo...idk). It was FANTASTIC. Son had the greek omelet, and it was loaded. He loved it. We both also had pancakes, and they were fluffy perfect pancakes.“

“We bombarded the Solon location with a large party ( more than 10) and when I tell you everything from the initial greeting until we bid farewell was AMAZING!!! The food was PHENOMENAL and our server Ty… HE DID THAT! The staff prepared each meal perfectly and not one of us had any complaints!! Thank you all for being so accommodating! “Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “This was my first visit to Campola's.
Al had taken my reservation and also welcomed us warmly when our party of five arrived. Turns out that he also made our food and helped to serve it with smiles. Our table on the patio was set and ready for us when we arrived, and water was brought immediately without asking, as were extra napkins. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. Each of us chose a different type of food, and all of us thought that what we had was delicious...from the pepperoni roll appetizer, to pizza, to a cheesesteak sandwich, to pasta dishes, and cannoli for dessert. One friend gave me a taste of one of her meatballs, and it was so tender and tasty...I think I'll have to come back for a pasta dish with those meatballs! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a very nice gentleman arrived and sang and played nice songs on guitar. He was not too loud so that we could still socialize together. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Thank you, Campola's!“

“Long time customer from when they took over the yesterdays restaurant. Years ago it was much better. The spaghetti was really a bolognese sauce that was AMAZING and would have been a $20 plate in other restaurants. That was 20 years ago. When they went to a marinara I asked why? And the owner told me no one would order it with the name bolognese lol. And they wanted a simple marinara sauce. Oh well. The rest of the menu started to suffer some when they started to open more restaurants. They started to not give a dinner roll when they use too, less stuff on a simple side salad. Saving a penny here and there. I know others that feel the same way. Mary's is still a good place. Fast service, always seem friendly lol. But it use to be very very good. Breakfasts are always great. Not much to change there. But some things show the cut backs to seemingly fund more restaurant. We use to go far more often then now. But we still go, and still happy with everything. But if you are a long term customer you saw the changes. Scale of 5 stars I would have gave it a solid 5 before. And I am a TOUGH grader on things as you can tell. Now about a 3.75. Service 4.75 Price 4.50 Food 3.00 I place a heavier value on the food as it is the real reason people go to a restaurant. TO EAT. Madison and Geneva is better to have them for sure. But we have so few good restaurants. What we need is a good deli. Not sure why but everything is pizza or fast foods or Italian. “This is a place to get a meal with immediate service from coming in the door. Excellent presentation of cocktails and beverages. Waitress give options for meals during all orders. Always checking if needed anything. Exit had very nice message leaving“

“This is such a hidden gem at the mall! Omg, I love the fries. They are carnival style and seasoned well. First time, I got the Chicago dog and second time, I got the one with pimento cheese. Is this place super cheap? Nope. They're making homemade fries though and I feel like the hot dogs are pretty tasty! My husband loves their smash burger too!“

They have some nice outdoor elements like a large fireplace and a koi pond. They also have non-alcoholic drink options available as well as options for vegetarians/vegans.“

“Nice little spot off the highway. We stopped for a bite on the way home and were quite happy with the result. It got quieter through the night while there but the atmosphere was great and cleanliness was top notch. There was a lot of options for burgers from your basic to ones with a lot of add-ons. Unlike most places, there was not a ton of salt used evem on the fries and it wasnt overkill on it. Surprising for a burger place. There was a ton of options for beer on tap as well as your usual alcohol options. Our waitress was fairly attentive without being overbearing but was always within earshot to help us. Great place and would definitely go again when back in the area.“

“Haven’t been to JT’s Diner for about two years. Thought we’d give it a try as we remembered it being good at their previous location. We were very disappointed in our breakfasts. My crisp bacon was burnt to a crisp with burnt taste upon first bite. Our home fries used to be excellent “sliced” potato’s, but yesterday came as mush and the scrambled eggs were not even cut….just folded like an omelet. Coffee was good and hot, as in the past. For $20.53 I expected better. Don’t think I would return.“

“My parents took me out for my 57th birthday to celebrate. When we arrived we were seated immediately which was really nice. We had an amazing waitress by the name of Jenna. Service was impeccable our meal was brought out in a timely manner and the food was very delicious.Everything we needed she never had any problem with going to get and I am really grateful and thankful again for the experience that she gave to us being there. “1st time there. Read a lot of good reviews about Sammy’s. Had spaghetti and meatballs. Yes, spaghetti and smeatballs on a Friday! Came with soup and salad and garlic toast which was very good also. Very very busy. Waitresses were husselling at a fast pace but all were very nice and kind and kept a smile on their faces!!! Also took a piece of key lime pie home for later. ? mmmmm soooo good! “Went here for a birthday party—a private affair, if you will. Hulk Hogan had just died. Steve Miller and the J. Geils Band was blasting and the Yuenglings were flowing. The ten TV screens were showing a variety of horse races and the Tour de France (this was in LATE July, so you can’t really blame them). Parking was adequate. This was a pickleball and slide-on shoes crowd, and it was spectacular. Would return for the 60th birthday party if it’s held here.“
