“Arrived to pick up app-order, no one at the counter but could hear the 2 ladies in the back, called for their attention, no response, and I really needed to use the restroom, which was locked so I knocked on the counter with my cane, which seemed to annoy them. My sandwich wasn't cut as requested, requested chips weren't available and no sweet tea!“

“This was my first time coming here and it’s exactly what it appears to be. A small business with a big heart. I don’t know about everyone else but sometimes the city is just too big, too many restaurant chains, we need little spots like this one. “I stayed at the Marriot only a 5 minute walk from here, of all the places we tried downtown this is the one we thought we’d miss the most when we left. The lunch menu is amazing, I wish I got to try the breakfast. For how busy it is in there and what seems like only two people behind the counter, the service was phenomenal. The cashier recognized us as soon as we came in and thanked us for coming back. Food is great and fresh, you can see them folding sourdough behind the counter! Beautiful atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food. If you have about 15-20 minutes to stop in I absolutely recommend it. Do not skip the home fries with rosemary aioli!“

I was blown away to see the staff diligently cleaning the equipment before making my sandwich! I cannot express how much it means to people like me that they take so much care with food safety.“

“This is my first time leaving feedback! We tried the Philly cheesesteak, ultimate fries, and strawberry lemonade—I highly recommend all three! (I totally forgot to take a picture because we couldn't wait to eat!) Make sure to get everything on your Philly cheesesteak, including jalapeños. Despite the long line(it means this is a popular place :)), the food was delivered quickly (and warm!), and the staff were super nice. I'll definitely be back!“

“Pretty good food but it was a bit on the expensive side, fries and drinks were sold separately. Clean inside but the drink fountain was kinda dirty and the drinks tasted like chlorine. The two young men working there were nice. My girlfriend and I were the only ones eating in at the time so it was a quiet atmosphere.

Parking: Very small parking lot in-between two other stores.“

I always go out of my way to get subway from this location because of how clean and awesome the employees are here. Just be nice to them and they will give you exactly what you want!!“

“I’m a frequent flyer! I’m at this location at least once a week. They make my subs fast and have never messed up an order. If I ask for delivery they are typically at my house within 20 minutes. I’m slightly obsessed with their subs and thankful for this location.“

“Always been a fan and frequent customer @ Mr. Hero. Always purchase Philly Cheese Steak Subs and they are awesome! Tried the new Waffle Doodle sandwich and it was ok, but not really sure what to think about it overall. Maybe would have liked it better if the waffles were crispier and more "Done". Just not my taste I guess. Great service as always, quick to get in and out and cashier was super nice. Will continue to visit and try other new menu items.“

“I love their food, which is most important. The staff seems nice too but the only reason they didn't get 5 stars from me is because ordering ahead is a complete waste of time because whenever I think I'm saving time, and I'm on a tight schedule, my stuff is NEVER ready and I give them a good hour. For example, I had to take my kids to practice in Lancaster by 6:00. I requested the be ready by 4:30. I get there at 4:45/4:50, and it's still not ready? It's a busy place, I understand that, but isn't the whole point of ordering ahead is so that your stuff is ready on time? I don't mind waiting, but if I am on any kind of schedule, no way would I trust this establishment.
I don't think I had this problem at the Bexley location as I do pickups for lunch and everything is ready when they say it will be. Only at the Canal Winchester PS do I have these days.
I've done the order already online 4 or 5 times, all times I arrived and my food wasn't ready. Otherwise, this would be my family's choice of food in the Canal area.

Parking: This restaurant is located in a shopping center and there are plenty of spaces to choose from.“

“This location has some of the nicest and most efficient employees I’ve encountered in a long time ! Every time I come in here they greet you with a “Hello” or “Welcome to Firehouse”.. Whether it’s an online order (that’s always ready by then time I get there), or ordering in person; they are always helpful and friendly. “This subway is located on South High Street. This has been the cleanest subway I've been to in a long time. The veggies are fresh and kept well and not wilted. The two ladys that have been in there each time my family has came in have been very professional and nice. We witnessed a customer that came in and gave the two workers a hard time and wanted to argue about everything trying to get them to validate a coupon that wasn't for what she was ordering. The entire time they were polite to the customer even though she was really rude and disrespectful. I must say we have came back 3 times this month.“

“The staff is amazing and friendly up there, they remember your name, always prompt service, definitely one of the best Penn stations I like going to, also I am able to fit my bobtail semi truck on the side of building while I grab my food, and even with all the construction because of the traffic lights it’s easy to exit location and get back on the road. Keep up the great work you guys are awesome at this Penn station.

Parking: Very easy if you’re about to tell, semi truck to park on side of the building and grab your food, and easy to exit right onto the main street with traffic lights so you can get back on the road.“

“The workers kinda make it hard to talk to them I'm also kinda a short person so it's hard to see what there doing with the food they don't have a lot of communication like yk how other places say welcome or say things other then ask you what u want then do that but never talk again“
