“The weather was beautiful so we sat outside on the patio. We were greeted by a friendly and warm waitress named Brooke, and had cocktails and appetizers served to us shortly after arriving. I had the short rib Gouda Mac & cheese and my husband had the 7 pepper burger. We were both impressed with how amazing our food was!! We also had dessert and had the best apple cobbler of our lives! Great food, great atmosphere, delicious cocktails & live music! 10/10 recommend.”

She checked on the table next to ours 3 times and refilled their drinks before she got to ours. No veterans discount even though I wore a vet hat and Army polo shirt. poor. just poor this time. usually very good.”

Our youngest had his 6th birthday coming up recently and wanted to go there. The chef cooking for us sang happy birthday to him while playing a small guitar, involved us all in catching small clusters of rice, played little fun pranks with him, and told him multiple times that he is special. Both of my boys were grinning ear to ear and so happy. Their joy from the experience of dinner here was priceless!”

“Stopped at Donut World after driving a good distance to get there. Was told it was the best around. That stuff was absolutely horrible!! They was hard as a rock and the ones you could chew, the filling tasted absolutely horrible. it tasted old and like it's been sitting for a very long time. A total waste of gas and money.. would not recommend this place at all. And the 2 ladies were very rude. The black lady at the window acted like she was bothered to take an order, while the white chick acted like her job was so miserable. No hello. No thank you, no nothing. “We have been coming to Art and Clay for 10 or 11 years and are so grateful to have such a gem here in Lancaster. Our 3, now adult, children still love painting here to this day. Ive included a picture of our first creations and our second visit along with what my daughter and I created today. We've gone together as a family of 5, had 'date paints' with just one child at a time, had paint parties with friends and family. I took the throwing class in February....highly recommend that!! And my youngest used his Xmas ornament painting to ask a girl to winter homecoming last year.....she said yes and they are still dating now :-) Such wonderful memories! Today I painted with my oldest before she heads back for her senior year of college. There's something wonderful about creating something side by side and being able to let the conversation ebb and flow naturally as you concentrate on getting your piece aligned with your vision. You can talk about your biggest fears, your hopes and dreams and they all kind of slide their way onto the piece you are creating. It's like the best, most relaxing therapy and priceless time spent with people you love. Highly recommend building this tradition with those you love! Oh and the iced Chai latte with oat milk is perfect!!!”

“This restaurant is located in one of the most absolutely architectural beautiful stunning buildings that I have personally seen. There is ample room for any parties I would recommend calling ahead to schedule your party so that your room is available. There are restrooms available. Parking was a little sketchy we ended up parking out back by a bank luckily the bank was closed when we were parking there. This location is in Lancaster Ohio. You may have to park and walk back to the location if parking is not available next to the building. However the food is absolutely delicious and it is fresh. The food is a absolute delight for not only your eyes but your taste buds. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. I look forward to taking my family and going back there many times. This was our first time at this location and they did not disappoint in any way shape or form. There was an absolute delight to get to go to this location. I will however admit it was a little pricey. Everyone was dressed very nicely. There is outside seating as well as inside seating and private dining areas. Make sure you take the time to stop at this location and enjoy the views as well as the food.”

“Roosters in Lancaster is exactly what it looks like: bar food, lots of TVs, plenty of beer and drinks, and a fun, energetic atmosphere. We went with five adults and two kids, and it worked well for the group.

Food allergies and sensitivities are always part of the adventure for us. My wife deals with gluten and dairy, while I bring tree nuts and Alpha-Gal to the party, plus the diabetes kicker just to keep things interesting. Roosters actually made this easier than a lot of restaurants. They have a separate allergen menu, and the staff was helpful working through our choices. Roosters also recommends letting the manager on duty know about allergies before ordering.

I had the fried chicken salad, which was exactly what I was looking for: straightforward bar food disguised as responsible eating because technically there was lettuce involved. The Lancaster menu offers both full and half versions of the fried chicken salad.

Anjelina had the potato skins without cheese, and the kitchen was able to make that modification for her. The standard version comes with mozzarella, cheddar, bacon bits and sour cream, so this was definitely a customized order.

The atmosphere is definitely bar first, restaurant second, but in a good way. I counted 10 TVs in a relatively small space, so if there is a sporting event happening somewhere on planet Earth, there is a reasonable chance you can watch it here. Good selection of beers and drinks as you would expect from a place that clearly embraces its bar identity.

Kids are absolutely fine here. I probably wouldn’t choose it for a serious business meal because of the noise and TVs, and I wouldn’t recommend it for a first date where you’re actually hoping to hear each other’s life stories.

But a casual date after you’ve already established that you like each other? Absolutely. Families, friends, kids, sports and casual meals all fit right in.

Roosters isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s a lively sports bar with solid food, lots of TVs and enough attention to food allergies to make our complicated little dining circus considerably easier.”

“We had a rehearsal dinner at El Parian Steaks & Tequila. They have a back room that seats up to 60 people. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, reasonable in price, and very accommodating. They gave us the option to pick 4 menu items off the menu for our guests to choose from or the options of - taco, fajita, or nacho bar. We chose the fajita and nacho bar. The food was hot and ready when we arrived. The guacamole here tastes so good! They even packed up the leftover food for us! Their staff were very attentive and kind. We will definitely recommend them to others. Wonderful job! 👏👏👏”

It’s my new favorite and our two year old kept wanting to dip her fries and chicken nuggets in my queso. :)”

They don't take a card so bring cash or you can use the ATM machine with a 3.50$ charge. They only have pop 1.50 a can, hot dogs don't know the price, and candy bars 2.00 each. “Had a family Christmas get together (party of 8) Tuesday Dec 23 at Max and Ermas Lancaster. I want to say my food was great as were the kids meals and my wife seemed to enjoy her Great American Burger! The complaints I had were less about the food but rather the attentiveness in the service. We left what was over $20 tip on a $102 ticket so the waitress was more than compensated. My mom was a waitress most of her life and so our family has always tipped. Service would have to be nonexistent for us to no tip but many would have said the kind of service received during this visit was no where near a $20 tip. At no point were we ever preemptively asked for drink refills. Max and Ermas now has fry refills much like Red Robin but again at no time were we ever asked for such. We did get asked when the food was brought out if we needed anything else but at NO point did a manager or staff member ask how the food was or check in from a customer service perspective. The ticket could have easily earned another $15-$20 higher even with suggestions of ice cream for the kids or appetizers. I wanted to share this because as stated while from a food taste perspective most of our food was terrific (The Larado Steak was way too tough) the quality of service would probably make me think about a visit again soon!”

“The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better than McDonald's.”
