“Came here for lunch with my lovely girlfriend. We sat at a high top table which was very well put together. Our server was attentive and offered us the freshest water in the Dayton area. I had a burger and my girlfriend had the Italian sandwich. They were both fantastic. We enjoyed our meal with a side of fries...while not symmetrical...fresh cut, crispy and delicious. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back and try something else like the French dip which was unavailable due to someone over smoking the smoker and lighting it ablaze. Fortunately the smoker has been fixed and the brisket will be back soon! Also the hand colored beer signs are a nice touch!“

I got the burger which was cooked perfectly and chargrilled, so not greasy. The spicy fries were hot and crispy. He got the mini corn dogs which looked hand breaded also. Service was great, but what stood out the most was the kitchen staff. We sat in the middle section by the kitchen. The guys doing the cooking in the were dancing, and having a good time. “Went to the Waffle House on Dayton Yellowsprings Rd in Fairborn, OH. my husband and I walk in and the 2 servers and the cook are sitting at the lower counters. We are told that they are waiting for the next shift to show up and then we would be helped. Sat at a table... that's dirty... because none of them are clean. Another employee walks in... chats with the 3 that were there and walks by our table and asks if we have been served yet, we tell him no and he returns to the other 3 still sitting. After a few more minutes, we left. The cook ends up chasing us out the parking lot telling us he's the cook and he's happy to serve us. Didn't seem like that was the case the whole time we were sitting inside. We chose to go to the Waffle House on the other side of town and got great food and great service. We've decided that we won't be back to Waffle House on Dayton Yellowsprings Rd.“

“Took my husband and son for a quick breakfast and while the food was decent it was really concerning the chocolate milk that they had. It was icy which was to be expected since the cartons were sitting in ice, but I checked if before getting it to my 4 year old and it was disgusting. Weird slimy texture and bad taste...I told the server and it was kind of shrugged off. Not sure if it was a language barrier but I was trying to let them know so that they could remove the rest of the milks from the buffet..“

“I use to go to the Troy St location since I’m only a couple blocks away from that location , However the last several times I’ve went to that location they messed up my order. I’m not one to call & complain so I let it slide but after the last time messing up all 3 orders I said no more & started going to the Linden Ave location & so far my order hasn’t been messed up one time. When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . I can’t keep going back each week to get the order I wanted so we end up eating what we were given & on a couple occasions my husband didn’t get to eat because he can’t eat spicy foods & all the orders were spicy & shouldn’t have been. Single sides were put inside with meals instead of being on the side individually like I ordered them . I get the same 3 meals EVERY Wednesday . I may switch sides on 1 of them but thats it . When they forget the biscuits , get the chicken type wrong all the time that’s it for me . Since going to Linden Ave & having an automated thing take your order I haven’t had any problems what so ever & I was skeptical about ordering through that .“

“I was abit afraid to visit this restaurant because the reviews were poor. However, we had a GREAT experience. Marie was an amazing server. She memorized all 5 orders for our table. The meals came quickly and our beverages were quickly refilled without asking. Well definitely come again. Prices were great!

“This location has gotten alot better, the servers are awesome and the food is spot on most of the time, still kinda pricey for what it is, but the lunch 2 for $20 is a good deal. Portions are smaller than what they used to be, but the prices have gone up. So keep an eye on what you order/receipt.“

“We placed a curbside order at 555 pm which was supposed to be ready at 615. I got to the restaurant at 615 and called to let the restaurant know I was there and what parking spot I was in. The lady who answered my phone informed me they were running behind and it would be 20 or 30 minutes before my food was ready. When I inquired what was the problem I was told they have more customers in the restaurant than the wait staff or cooks can handle. She told me the manager was trying to get the numbers of and overwhelming the staff. I waited in my car and called back at 645. Funny thing is the first girl I talked to never told anyone I was waiting. At 652 I walked into the restaurant because no one brought my food out. I asked for the manger and a black guy with a bushy goatee. He refused to tell my how long my food had been ready after he walked over and looked at the computer screen. I asked again and he automatically said he was canceling my order. Again I asked how long it had been sitting there. At that point I informed him I would be contacting corporate. That’s when he told me he’d let his GM know and that if I didn’t leave he would call the police.“
