“Such a great coffee shop! The Cafe de Olla is amazing, and the empanadas and guava rolls were equally as impressive! To top it off, the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I mentioned that I had kids, and she took the time out of her day to show me around the building and told me all about the art museum’s exhibits (the cafe currently shares a space with the Cleveland Art Museum’s Community Arts Center) that she thought my kids might enjoy. I can’t wait to see all of the additional offerings when the new location opens!“

“I absolutely LOVED my visit to the 27th coffee club! I went on my 27th birthday this year and it was the best experience! I am a HUGE Machine Gun Kelly fan so being able to visit because of that was so exciting. I tried the lithium lemonade and it was top tier! I also got a pink iced coffee which was amazing. The barista that took care of us took the time to give us her recommended options since we were from out of town and she was so friendly and nice. When they found out it was my birthday I also got a free surprise drink which I was not expecting. The atmosphere was so calm and chill and it is a great place to visit!“

The espresso machine (a little beauty for espresso machine afficionados?) was down for repairs, but my wife and I pivoted easily to an iced coffee for her and an iced cold brew for me. Both were flavorful and strong, and the rest of the drink options were very intriguing for a future visit if we get in the area again. The interior itself has great and comfortable vibes, and you definitely get the feeling this a little gem for the area community. “I love this place! I have been getting into tea recently and this place has anything a tea enjoyer could hope for. Plenty of delicious blends, tea equipment, mugs and so forth. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable if you have any questions about what is in a particular blend. The bags themselves also have recommended temperatures and steep times depending on the tea you buy. They offer discounts if you buy in bulk and have a section of discounted teas as well. Overall, this is a fantastic place to go if you're looking to buy things regarding tea and I strongly recommend it!“

“The very name making reference to Wittgenstein’s duck-rabbit illusion, this place continues to impress and conquers any competition around Cleveland. Duck-rabbit’s light menu selection allows them to focus on delivering the highest quality beans with detailed origin information and flavor profiles. They moved the cafe location quite a few months ago and their new speciality coffee line is amazing. Additionally, the most recent coffee beans purchased from them in April 2022—Inmaculada Sudan Rume, Colombia—tasted divine! The industrial aesthetic makes it convenient to stop in a rush or to stay around awhile. This place will forever be one of my favorites. I am a vegan chef of sorts so the dessert pictured is made with duck-rabbit espresso beans.“

“It's just another coffee shop, nothing special. Be expecting to have to clean off your own table to sit somewhere clean. You are expected to clean up your table and take the dishes to a cart when you're done. Oh, and don't forget you will get an attitude if you ask to get the table whipped down while they expect a tip. The chicken salad was excellent. And my coworker enjoyed his lunch. The kitchen staff did well preparing our food. The counter staff stood around while cleaning needed done.“

Coffee alone is a strong flavor, so it stands to reason that strong flavors like black pepper and a good olive oil would work with it. The basil syrup is a nice sweet note, a little subtle for my taste, but we’re here to be bold, and this adventure is worth taking. The croissant, so perfectly buttery and crispy all at once is heaven paired with a pistachio butter and marmalade; a worthy accompaniment to that singular coffee.“

“I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

I called a week ahead of my date and they were able to make all of my ideas happen! they were honest and communicated about some small changes to make sure my cake was the best it could be! I got a small red velvet cake and cupcakes with black beautifully designed icing for a "Death of 20s" birthday! even with the power outage they were able to make my order and it tastes fantastic!
