“Such a great coffee shop! The Cafe de Olla is amazing, and the empanadas and guava rolls were equally as impressive! To top it off, the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I mentioned that I had kids, and she took the time out of her day to show me around the building and told me all about the art museum’s exhibits (the cafe currently shares a space with the Cleveland Art Museum’s Community Arts Center) that she thought my kids might enjoy. I can’t wait to see all of the additional offerings when the new location opens!“

I wanted the créme brulee cone but they were out of it. So I ordered a crepe cone with strawberry Gelato, bananas, oreo cookies, caramel & whipped cream && OMG!!! It was amazing 🤌 I'm not too big on sweets but I was craving something sweet & that hit the spot!! It was so big but I almost ate the whole cone. Definitely worth the price...“

“Stopped by after trying the Roaming Biscuit across the street, and got to enjoy some time eat said food and sip on some nice iced drinks on a warm Sunday morning in Ohio City.
The espresso machine (a little beauty for espresso machine afficionados?) was down for repairs, but my wife and I pivoted easily to an iced coffee for her and an iced cold brew for me. Both were flavorful and strong, and the rest of the drink options were very intriguing for a future visit if we get in the area again. The interior itself has great and comfortable vibes, and you definitely get the feeling this a little gem for the area community. And the staff was friendly and talkative, so it had basically everything you'd want in a good coffee shop.“

“Some of the best coffee & friendly staff ever! I looooove the home made syrups they use and how they are always trying new and fun flavors. Not to mention the book prices are out of this world inexpensive!!!! They are not necessarily the most current and brand new books but that’s literally how they are able to offer such insanely great discounts.I love you index, I wish I still lived in walking distance to you!!!!“

The kava is top-tier— smooth & strong. They’ve also got a great selection of herbal teas, and creative seasonal drinks (try anything the kavatenders recommend—you won’t be disappointed).
The staff are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely care about creating a space where everyone feels safe and seen. Plus, the events here are awesome—karaoke nights, fashion shows, open mics, goth prom… they’re always doing something fun.

“The coffee and service were great, but unfortunately the baked goods were not. My son and I each got a lemon poppyseed scone, and they had a strange taste. They didn't really taste like lemon at all, and I couldn't eat it. We took our order to go or I would have said something. I would go back for the coffee and atmosphere.“

“We have a fabulous contractor on our property who has brought us treats from your amazing bakery…chocolate croissants and today, delicious cupcakes...almost too beautiful to bite into! We are new to the area but a visit in person is a must. A big thanks to John for his generosity and the best bake goods we have ever had. Baking from scratch with fresh ingredients and your skill produces the ultimate treat!“

“basil syrup, fresh black pepper, olive oil sound wonderful together. But in a coffee? It will surprise you and delight you! Coffee alone is a strong flavor, so it stands to reason that strong flavors like black pepper and a good olive oil would work with it. The basil syrup is a nice sweet note, a little subtle for my taste, but we’re here to be bold, and this adventure is worth taking. The croissant, so perfectly buttery and crispy all at once is heaven paired with a pistachio butter and marmalade; a worthy accompaniment to that singular coffee.“

“The very name making reference to Wittgenstein’s duck-rabbit illusion, this place continues to impress and conquers any competition around Cleveland. Duck-rabbit’s light menu selection allows them to focus on delivering the highest quality beans with detailed origin information and flavor profiles. They moved the cafe location quite a few months ago and their new speciality coffee line is amazing. Additionally, the most recent coffee beans purchased from them in April 2022—Inmaculada Sudan Rume, Colombia—tasted divine! The industrial aesthetic makes it convenient to stop in a rush or to stay around awhile. This place will forever be one of my favorites. I am a vegan chef of sorts so the dessert pictured is made with duck-rabbit espresso beans.“

“Just a great place to enjoy coffee and either study, read, or have some quality time with friends. I spent many hours here when I was in college mainly studying or discussing subjects A-Z. The place has an intellectual open minded thinker vibe and I love it. Coffee and desserts are good as well. Its open and airy in summer and cozy in winter. Great energy as well.“

“I went to Cleveland for my birthday and I love to just walk around new cities and try new coffee shops. We came across this shop and tried it out. I was expecting to get a coffee but a gentleman there stated that I should try to chai tea. Boy, was he ever correct. It had to be the most amazing chai tea I've ever had. It had a very smooth taste, with a nice hint of fresh ground cinnamon on top. Not overly sweet like a desert, but just right. The barista that works there was also very friendly and we chatted a bunch about a lot of cool topics. I definitely recommend it!“

“Came in just to kill sometime and was greeted with a new spot I’ll be visiting regularly! The girl that helped me was awesome! Sami was great with helping me order, she gave awesome recommendations! I got a mimosa flight and flatbread, it was the perfect recommendation! Overall, service was 10/10, food and drinks were 10/10, and the vibe was 10/10!“
